Delivery delays.
No delivery a week passed due time. Chased Balfes who admitted a very common component (a shifter cable), was not available. Agreed to delete this item as the other purchase - a saddle bag was urgently needed. This item eventually arrived nearly a week later. Apart from the prompt refund, not a satisfactory service. Communication could be better.

Missing item but no replies
When delivered, missing an item & unable to speak to anyone out my working hours, finally found the returns process but looks like I have to pay for their error. Multiple emails but no reply have had to complain through this review

The website was very clear. They publish a phone number which they answer promptly. The delivery was prompt and good quality. The bike was set up perfectly.

Their “ready to ride” set up service is…
Their “ready to ride” set up service is misleading. The premium service you pay for is for the main bike frame only and doesn’t include any optional extras you may purchase from them. Expect hours of assembly time if you want to pay for extras like the clubhouse on a tern bike
