Item was quick and exactly what we needed

easy website to navigate. haven't tried the baby k'tan yet, as our little one hasn't arrived just yet.

After a lot of research I decided to purchase a Baby K'tan carrier. Unfortunately, despite following the sizing guide and carefully following directions for how to wear the carrier I couldn't get it right. I reached out to customer service concerned that my carrier was too small and they sent more tips and tricks that did not work for me. After spending hours trying to make the carrier work I asked if I could exchange it for a larger size to see if it would help. They do not do exchanges, even if you follow their sizing guide and they themselves recommend the size you've purchased based on your weight and measurements. Customer service has me paying to ship it back and told me I can then order the next size up. I will not be ordering again due to how difficult it was to use, the sizing errors, and poor customer service.

Edited to add: I understand being a small business, however the sizing chart should help ensure customers order the correct size the first time. If I ever ordered again I'd do it on Amazon to use free returns. I'm happily using a Konny carrier now after their customer service team helped me get the correct size.

My son and I love the original baby k’tan! Easy to put on, secure, and frees my hands to care for my other children when he just wants to be held. It also easily fits in the diaper bag which is nice bonus.

Descriptions for sizing is very misleading once I received my baby carrier I did a fit check meeting which was great however I am really two sizes smaller I’m normally a L in their size I need a S (that’s an extreme difference ) so now I have to return the item at my own shipping cost .baby K tan also states it is not responsible if items get lost during return so I could possibly be out $60+ If that were to happen. Other then that the material is great, very good quality! Update: I had to pay to ship it back to them $17.98 so I’m out another chunk of change before I receive my new carrier all in all this carrier has now cost me upward of 80$

Update: I appreciate that the company went to great lengths to rectify the situation after my initial review. I appreciate the email and follow up call to figure out how to do a return/exchange.

The carrier itself is great. I’ve tried many different ones and this seems to work the best with my 5 week old. However, the return and exchange experience is lacking. I ordered two and need to exchange one for a larger size. Despite emailing the address on the website (which came back as undeliverable), submitting the online request form, and calling and leaving a message with the customer service phone number, I still haven’t been able to reach anyone. It’s very frustrating.

Love it! It's my (and baby's) favorite everyday/easy wear carrier.

I originally got an XS as my measurements are 5'2' weight 118 pre-pregnancy and dress size 8, per the size calculator. But the carrier was too small. I am very top heavy, wide back and bra size 40C/D, so XS was extremely tight for me and baby.

I exchanged for a S and it is perfect! I can kiss the top of baby's head and baby is nice and snug yet we both aren't struggling to move.

I highly recommend this carrier over the sling and pre-made carriers.

I also loved that they offered an organic cotton carrier. My baby started teething at 2mo and was continuously putting carriers in his mouth, he had an aversion to the carriers made of synthetic material and would start to cry and squirm when he would get it in his mouth. He did not have the same response with the K'tan. He just sucks on it like it was his t-shirt.

I also liked that it didn't have a smell, which some synthetic carriers can have.

Concept is great. But sizing is not.
Medium is too tight, large is way to big. Now I have 2 and can’t use either.

I don't know what I would do without this! Love my baby k'tans!

I had to make a change in size on my order and was accommodated quickly before the item was shipped out.

I was looking for a carrier that had more than the “hug” and “adventure” positions, that would support my infants head without pushing it farther into my chest, a carrier I could feed in, one that would be loose enough to wear to indoor sports events where the gym gets hot, but that was quicker and easier to put on than a traditional wrap. The K’tan is truly the only carrier I have found that gives me that much versatility without taking too long to awkwardly wrap myself in when in public spaces. The only downside I have found, is that it stretches out so quickly during wears that by the end of a long day I feel it is nearly too loose. Maybe I should have bought another size down, but it’s pretty tight at the start of the day. It loosens to more comfortable very quickly, but after 2-3 hours I have a bit of slack and find myself repositioning my baby more frequently. All is well after the next wash, though!

Doesn’t fit even after using the sizing chart. Very disappointed.

Order process was fast and easy, it was on the baby registry for my niece. It was delivered sooner than stated. Happy with purchase.
