Very happy with our warranty claim. Only a small claim for a sensor but the process was faultless and I got to use the garage of my choice to have the work completed

I had a warranty of £4000.00 when my car had a major issue after only 30 days. Autoguard have failed to pay the full warranty out and have left me out of pocket to the cost of £2100.00. Why be given a warranty if they wont pay the full amount out.

The day before trading in my car it developed a fault, but would not give the time needed to get the repair authorised, as a result the claim was declined and I paid out of my pocket. Unless time is on your side you are at the mercy of their get out clauses. Even though my claim would have met the criteria, ie a faulty pressure sensor, Autoguard chose to reject the claim.

It is one of the least honest, and most greedy warranty company I have come across. Having a 6-month warranty is utterly pointless.

They will not fix any issues listed on the 'premium' cover, even though it's listed on the actual cover policy. Additionally, I gained written diagnostic from my garage so Auto Guard can understand, but they just apply their own logic to a complete false decision to not honour the warranty.

Save your money, and use that for any car repairs, this is pointless.

Followed claim process as per app and went to main dealer for repair and now they are unwilling to help as per all the other unhappy comments on here.

From start to finish I was really impressed with the service that I was given The staff that I spoke to were very efficient and knowledgeable and dealt with my claim with the Ford garage I put my vehicle in and I didn’t have to do a thing only collect my vehicle when it was repaired great service

I bought a 3yr extended warranty with Autoguard nearly 2 years ago and I have made use of their service twice now. On both occasions, my expectations have been surpassed. The key things are:
- good communication
- the phone has always been answered quickly
- Straight forward chat
- Clear instructions
- Cover main dealer labour costs (optional)
- I’ve had no quibble over my parts/diagnosis on two occasions (adblu system, alternator)
- Quick processing and change control
- Quick payment
- Easy simple processes
- my Audi dealer were also highly impressed

Make sure you get clear breakdowns from your garage.
Have your full service history available.
Know your mileage.

The boys at JMF were absolutely amazing and great communication, i would 100percent recommend this place if you have a bmw ,they know what they are doing, would go back again, abit expensive but you pay for the amazing service they provided

AVOID - ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY.
Took out a 3 year warranty with them at a cost of £1300.
Faulty Window regulator on Range Rover sport was causing the window to move slowly, grinding and sometimes stopping, then the window dropped into the door.
Rang Autoguard and explained what had happened, said it was covered. They asked to provide photos and vat invoice for part and labour, got it fixed at a local garage to be as cheap as possible, sent photos and official invoice from the garage approx £600.
Then they said sorry it wasn’t covered under warranty as the plastic clips that hold the window to the regulator had broken and that was wear and tear. The garage said the clips had snapped due to the stress of the motor as it was faulty. Told me to look it up is a very common fault with window regulator.
Then after chasing the warranty company someone came back to say they would finally ‘make a contribution’ towards the cost but didn’t make any further contact.
Such a scam - stay away from Autoguard.

My claim has now been taken up by the Motor Ombudsman.

I really wouldn’t bother with this warranty, waste of time. Supposed to be peace of mind but just weasel out of paying for repairs. Very drawn out frustrating claim process as well, complete joke. I now had to buy parts on eBay and fix myself. Not recommended at all.

The adviser I was emailing, Carl Searles, was excellent. He replied so quickly, explained things for me, then chased up another department for me straight away.

I will say I am rather annoyed that my repair is almost one month away, and the fact the excess fee was never mentioned when I took this warranty out, otherwise this would be 5 stars!

They don’t actually cover anything just make up whatever benefits them to say it’s excluded from the warranty

Vehicle developed a knocking noise when turning and a vibration when accelerating after owning the car for a few weeks, nothing when we bought it, it turned out to be a driveshaft and they are common to just go, however this company used their age related clause to wriggle out of it even tho driveshafts are listed as their coverage! The van is 2019 and immaculate! You think you are safe buying with warranty but it’s all lies!

Waste of money and time

Ver very bad insurance when it come to cliam
Remember one thing when you try to explain them they very rude not listen to you
Your engine gearbox just part of it cover not full engine they all lied to you to sell insurence
Even you give them all evidence

They just wanna reject everything seems really helpful on the phone but nothing comes of it clearly states they cover water pumps they just not interested

Absolute bunch of scammers DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY there warranties are useless.
Really not worth the money you pay ripped me off and will not help or reimburse my the money they have conned me out of.
Avoid at all costs.
Find a company that actually works with you not against you.

I had a great experience with AUTOGUARD following an issue where my car dealership forgot to register my warranty package. AUTOGUARD (and the dealership) were extremely helpful throughout the whole process backdating my warranty to ensure my claim could be processed fairly.
They fully covered the cost of a water pump failure, including both parts and labour.
It's refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely looks after it's customers and honours its commitments. Based on my experience I would highly recommend AUTOGUARD for their excellent service and support.
