Inadequate packaging cost me dearly…
Order of two tubs of heavy sniper BBs was inadequately packaged in just a brown envelope.
The result was that the envelope ripped somewhere between the shop and delivery to me and there was only one tub in it when delivered.
Ended up paying just over £56 for one tub of a thousand BBs.
No recourse because how do I prove it? The postman had scarpered before I realised the bag was ripped and half my order was missing.

Hi Steve,
Sorry to hear you had an issue with a delivery from us. The bags we now use are very thick and strong, so for Royal Mail to have ripped it open took some doing!
Always in the first instance, you should contact the company who provided the goods (us in this instance) to allow them to talk you through how we go about trying to claim from the courier as soon as an issue arises.
With Royal Mail, we need pictures of the torn packaging before you open it and if there was a broken tub inside, a pic of that showing the damage and what it was.
If you have those, please send the pics ASAP and contact us by phone so we can start a claim as we only get 5 working days to start a claim and we do clearly advise within our T&Cs to contact us within 3 days of delivery. And your package was delivered on the 6th...

So we can clearly see from the tracking that you received it on the 5th of February, the day after you posted the Trustpilot review.
It is sometimes the case that the automated emails go out before you receive your items, especially if there is a weekend involved, so if you can re-rate the review based on the actual service provided it would be appreciated.
Alternatively, if there was an issue with DPDs delivery that you were not happy with, you should be able to find them on Trustpilot also :)

This is my first purchase from Airsoftworld & I am very happy the price of the item was very reasonable and shipping was fantastic tracking details were sent shortly after purchase. The item itself VFC PPK was better than initially expected. Overall very satisfied with my experience with Airsoftworld. 🙂

Great shop, top notch!
Great shop, I made quite a few orders separately then realised I could save cash by asking them to send all as one order. No problem at all. Goods arrived very quickly and well packed All the guns I ordered work perfectly. The add ins just made the whole experience even better.

Painted pistol
Excellent delivery time especially as it's Christmas time. Had to have the airsoft gun painted as I'm not a member of any groups.
The gun doesn't look that bad at all the way it's been done. Some I've seen look horrible.

Always have a bad attitude
Always have a bad attitude to costumers, quoted us £110 to £115 for some upgrade work and charged us £184
Told us 2-3 weeks but the work took over 6 weeks

Hi Michael,
I'd like to start off by yet again apologising for the fact you were mis-quoted for the upgrade on the rifle. The Action Army T-Series use a 90 degree setup, not the 45 degree setup you were (I believe) initially quoted on. I had explained this and apologised several times while you were in.
We do currently have a longer than normal repair queue which, as I speak, has been drastically cut down and again I apologise for. This had been caused by staff holidays and the passing of a member of staffs parent, though at no point while you were in did you make us aware of this complaint or allow us to explain and apologise.
However, regarding your claim of 'always have a bad attitude', I'd challenge that. Yes, everyone can have good and bad days, however to claim we 'always' have a bad attitude is false. I was more than apologetic however I cannot obviously comment on the other occasions you've been in. Though if we have given that impression, then I again apologise.
Regardless, thank you for bringing the final point to my attention and I will re-iterate to all members of staff that smiling costs nothing and to think before they speak.
