Booked a car for 11.45 today!
Booked a car for 11.45 today. Advised driver was on his way at the time he was due and would be 25 minutes late. I had a train to catch from Waterloo station and would have arrived too late. Had to cancel car and was charged ÂŁ24.18 as a cancellation fee. I then had to get a black cab and paid an additional ÂŁ16 for this journey. Addisson Lee should be ashamed. Not only did they breach the agreement we had they then had the audacity to charge me for it as I was left with no choice but to cancel the ride or miss my train. Appalling service. Don't use if you want a reliable service. Stick to black cabs!!

Really unhappy with my first experienceâŠ
Really unhappy with my first experience with Addison Lee. We were the bridal support getting in the 7 seater with the bride. The driver helped me put a big bag into the boot. Great, everything was fine. When we got to the venue. We asked for a little more time because we needed to get organised , the bride had a long trail dress, we just needed time to get the bride sorted and out the car. The driver said he has to go to another job. As we are getting out the car and sorting the bride out, the car leaves- with the bag in the boot! The bag had things for the bride and groom there. When I called to ask the driver to call back I was met with customer service which was TERRIBLE. They made me pay ÂŁ34 to have it brought back to me (was initially ÂŁ60 something they said?!) & after (they refunded half after my complaint) but not full? After the driver didnât even get out the car to help us with ANYTHING and knew he put a bag in the boot! He didnât leave his seat to even open the doors for us etc and take the bag out and instead left us and drove off. I thought when you pay for a âbetterâ service than uber etc you get better service? Like the driver coming out and opening the boot and helping with bags. But no we are supposed to do everything our self in our dress and heels ready for a wedding. Terrible- UBER WOULD HAVE SUFFICED just fine! And cost less overall.

The driver did go to another hospital waiting for us. After they charged us ÂŁ13 extra,just took the money from the account without asking us. The driver said the company asked him to go to âŠ. hospital instead of the âŠ. hospital where we were told them to come and pick us up.
