Adagio City Omdömen 

I have stayed at the Monte Cristo hotel at Monaco twice before and always had a good experience, so I am a regular and loyal customer. I booked for a third time and unfortunately the external booking website I used turned out to be a scam and stole my money. Luckily I got that back via the credit card. This scam website was not the fault of Adagio except to say they should perhaps be more careful which websites they deal with. So then it just came to re-booking the room directly with the hotel - which was MY room that had been booked via the other website and was now free. But this is where I hit the disappointing customer care from Adagio. Given what had happened, given you would think Adagio would take some responsibility because they were dealing with the scam website to sell their rooms and also given I was a loyal, regular customer you would think they would just resell me the same room i.e. my room for the SAME price it had previously been booked at. Surely that would be good customer care and morally the right thing to do? But oh no! They decided to let me have the room if I wanted it for nearly DOUBLE the original price booked. Their excuse was that the hotel was nearly full - even though subsequently lots of rooms are appearing online again. But in any case the room they had was MY room which had been released by the scam website. The hotel manager was not able to do anything on her system so I spoke to Patrick in head office in Paris who claimed to be the Customer Service Manager for the whole of Adagio although he seemed to have no authority or any wish to agree to match my original booking price. Very much a case of computer says no - even though you would think someone in authority could make the decision to price match if they wanted to. Human beings can make decisions! But in this case I was very disappointed that given everything that happened to me Adagio were not prepared to do the decent thing to show good customer care and re-book the same room for me at the same price. The Managing Director of Adagio should take note how Patrick and their customer service department failed to provide a fair response in this case. It felt like Adagio were just trying to take advantage of the scam website going broke to nearly double the price of the same room for the same customer! If the website had not gone broke they would have been left with the original booking price anyway so I did expect them to honour the same conditions. If nothing goes wrong then you will have a good stay here but be warned if you fall victim to any kind of problem or fraud with the booking then the Adagio customer service department will offer you no care or help in response.

I really wish. Had read this first. Advertised on hotels.com as cacellable I booked and the full amount was removed immediately with NO cancellation allowed. Now they will not respond! Karen Sinden booked Apartments Josephine 17 Sept

Bonjour,
Ayant réservé une chambre d'hôtel pour 2 jours en croyant arrivé dans un hôtel accueillant moderne et propre, j'ai le désespoir de voir a mon arrivé tout le contraire.
Le hall d'entrée qui parait si accueillant sur les photos et bien décevant en réalité un hall d'accueil très triste un fauteuil de réception en très mauvaise forme.
Il faut noté que a l'inverse de l'état des lieu le personnel et très accueillant et souriant.
Passons maintenant au escalier, pas mieux qu'un escalier de HLM mal entretenu une moquette avec triste mine.

Nous arrivons enfin a la chambre qui sur les photos nous vend du rêve sans y être rentrée. Et bien dommage c'est tout l'inverse, une fois arrivé on découvre une chambre très triste avec une moquette qui ne tiens même plus en place et qui se décolle, des rideau qui ne sont pas tout jeune. Passons a la cuisine, j'espère que vous ne souhaitez pas y faire cuir quelque chose car préparé vous a le faire la veille pour le lendemain j'ai voulu faire cuir des pâtes l'eau n'est jamais aller jusqu'à ébullition.
Je pense avoir tout dis sur la chambre. Il faut ajouter que si vous souhaitez avoir le droit a une place de parking il faudra la réserve a l'avance car il n'y en a pas beaucoup elle ne sont même pas dans l'hôtel c'est le parking de la mairie.

Tout sa pour un total de 125 euros pour 2 nuits ainsi que 30 euros de parking, je pense que l'ont peut trouver mieux.

Hi, I booked five rooms with you and you failed to provide them, can you refund my 2700 euros, have written to you but you do not even reply, worst customer services ever.
Would have given you a minus 1 star if it was possible

Rigtig fint hotel til prisen rent og pænt og med god service. Besøgte det i Paris i påsken. God beliggenhed med spisesteder og indkøb tæt på. Grunden til at jeg kun har givet det fire stjerner er at der ikke var wifi på værelserne, hvilket jeg synes er lidt et minus!

Har bestilt hotelophold i Paris. Fungerer super fint. Sitet er let og overskueligt. Bekræftelse kommer hurtigt. Blev meget overrasket over, at der ikke trækkes betaling på mit kreditkort (bestilte i meget god tid). Ved ankomst til hotellet, viste det sig, at kreditkortoplysninger på nettet kun blev brugt ved udeblivelse, hvor man vil blive faktureret for første overnatning.

Hotelstandarden var samtidig i top.
