I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews, but so far my experience has been very positive.
That said, it might be because I haven’t purchased any furniture from them.
I’ve only ordered smaller items, and everything arrived without any issues.
I plan to continue purchasing from this company in the future.

I placed an order for the Passage coffee table in September 2025 and a big split developed in one of the pieces of wood. I went back and forth with customer service and they will not replace the defective piece that is 4 months old. They only offered 10% discount even though their site lists a 2 year warranty. Really terrible customer service.

Turns out, I’d like to return the item, but absolutely want to return a DEFECTIVE item and they will not return my messages. Considering filing a fraud dispute with my card. No one will respond or help me. Do not buy from this site.

Perhaps it will arrive in time for my husband's birthday in May?
Update: unbelievably 2modern says my new ship date IS in May. Meantime, they are spamming me unrelentingly.

I placed an order at the end of November, it's now December 30th and not only have I not heard from the company, I had to reach out them to try and get my money back. Even then they said they would try to reach out to cancel it, even though it was never processed. Terrible customer service, terrible communication, terrible company.

Got a 'we haven't forgotten about you' email from 2Modern couple of days ago and the following day got a 'we've cancelled your order at your request' email. For the record, I did not cancel my order. First and last time I will buy anything from this questionable site. Worst part, the item I bought is now no longer on sale on other websites. What a bummer and hugely disappointing experience.

Fraud company. Should have read these reviews before purchasing from them. Made an order 12/4/25 and it is now 12/22/25. Waited three weeks already and still haven’t heard any updates about order, so called them and was told item is on back order. Can’t even cancel the order even if I wanted to at this point because there’s no option to do so. Very unreliable and untrustworthy company.

Terrible customer service experience. No notice of shipping resulted in multiple calls by me to follow up. I was eventually told the item was on back order and it would be months before shipping would take place. Communication by 2Modern could not have been worse.

I agree with everyone below -- this company is a fraud. On 11/23, I ordered a bench that was supposed to be shipped within 3-5 days. Got notice on 11/28 that it had been shipped. Never delivered. On 12/12, the site indicated that shipment was cancelled. I've tried calling (no one answers) and emailed multiple times and received no resolution. This is a terrible company -- DO NOT ORDER from them.

Refuse to give me details on my order and claimed order would arrive on time and ship in 6-10 business days but that was all a total lie. I ordered on November 26. They keep claiming it’s shipped because they generated a tracking number, but the item was never picked up and tracking provided to me does not track. I email but no response at all to any emails. When i call they say they will get back to me but then don’t. UPDATE: 2 Modern later refunded me, but only AFTER filing complaints and disputing charges. Suddenly they responded after complaints were filed. Before that happened a customer served rep who I got by calling told me the truck that never departed with my order (I.e. the one a tracking number was generated for - that didn’t actually track) which never shipped needed to be rerouted for me to be issued a refund! Please note - for days the company claimed that the truck had departed with my stuff. Customer service constantly gave me misinformation and the agent who “canceled” the order did not immediately agree to a refund but said it would need to come later when a truck that never departed was “rerouted”. The response from the company is not an accurate version of what really happened.

I received a table lamp instead of a floor lamp and when I called Customer Service to get the right lamp, they told me it’s out of stock until mid February. I asked them to please do not charge me for the restocking fee and they did as well as the return shipping. This is the least accommodating company I have ever dealt with and this will be my last time purchasing anything from there. I urge consumers to carefully read the return policy as you will be stuck with a 15% restocking fee as well as return shipping. Do not buy from them.

same light fixture available for same price at LNY but I ordered from 2modern to get chase points. BIG MISTAKE. Light didnt fit, but now I am stuck w paying them back for what WAS free shipping, PLUS return shipping, PLUS 15% restock fee. I have worked w LNY for years and they are as easy and accommodating as Amazon. I will never make this mistake again!

I would give this zero stars if I could.
This company is completely fraud.
Website says item will be shipped within 2-3 days. Waited for well over two weeks to zero communication. Reached out to them many times to cancel the order, and called them half a dozen times (nobody answered, I left voicemail multiple times). ZERO RESPONSE

This company is an absolute fraud. After maybe a dozen emails and phone messages, they finally replied to me to tell me that my item will ship in 2 months rather than 2-3 days. I have given up on trying to get them to follow-up through with a refund and have contested the charge with my credit card company.
Don't waste your time or money!

I purchased a &Tradition floor lamp but I arrived with a broken parts. Then I contacted the support to request a parts replacement. Their response took forever. Slow and not following up. Kept asking them for a status but seems like they don’t care about their customers after the product was sold.

Whatever you do make sure it does not involve ordering from this site. Stated 2-3 day shipping for a chair I ordered. 45 days later, nothing. Asked to cancel order and get a refund, which was promised within five business days. 15 days later, nothing. Every time I inquire about shipping or refund I get further promises and no follow through.
This company is a scam reseller!
