Fabulous customer service and great product

I bought a Wüsthof Gourmet 6-piece knife set (with block) back in 2019 from the Knife and Tools website. The knives have been fantastic — well-balanced, sharp, and a pleasure to use. However, after years of regular use, two of the knife handles started to loosen around the rivets.

I first contacted Knife and Tools to make a warranty claim, but since they no longer sell Wüsthof products, they advised me to reach out to Wüsthof directly. I used the online form on Wüsthof’s website and uploaded photos of the issue. Impressively, I received a reply the same day from Amy at their customer service team. She asked me to complete another form (which seemed to repeat the same questions as the online form, but that’s a minor thing).

Once I sent that back, my warranty claim was approved within two days, and replacement knives were shipped immediately. The new knives arrived quickly and are the exact same model — brand new and perfect.

Overall, I’m really happy with both the quality of Wüsthof’s knives and their excellent customer service. They handled my warranty claim professionally, efficiently, and kept their word throughout the process. A brand that truly stands behind its products!

Having had my 20cm Wusthof chefs knife for several years now, I had selected it carefully never dreaming I would ever need another. However, my wife managed to drop it onto the worktop whilst removing it from the block and broke it in two!
This caused much consternation... I emailed Wusthof with the slight chance it might be under warranty and I'm overjoyed to say I received a replacement free of charge. Many thanks to Amy, Holly and Guido whom I dealt with.

After much use, my 20 year old chef's knife developed a crack in the handle and partially fell off. I emailed customer service to see if it was repairable (expecting to have to pay for it) - sadly it wasn't, but instead they have honoured the lifetime warranty on the knife (which I forgot it had and have pretty scant documentation for) and sent me a replacement at no cost! Amazing service and confidence in their products - I look forward to another 20+ years of chopping ahead.

After my knife unexpectedly dropped k the floor and snapped in two the company were extremely helpful and agreed to send me a new one.

The knife itself is extremely easy to cut with and makes cooking a pleasure

Wusthof as a brand and quality is great. Customer service, shocking.
I placed an order for a knife on 28 August 2025. It was estimated that shipping would take 2 working days.
10 working days later, I still haven't received my order.
Royal Mail indicates I have to contact the seller as the item is missing. After numerous emails to Wusthof, and failed phone calls (to Germany as that is the only number I can find online), I still haven't received any promise of when I will receive my item.

Absolutely love my double serrated bread knife. Glides through bread no matter how tough the crust and does not arc into (or out of if you’re left handed) the bread like single serrated knives do! And then it snapped - clean in half - after 3 years whilst in use. Must have been some issue with the original forging but those helpful people at Wüsthof replaced it, no questions asked (well apart from proof of purchase and pics). Blooming marvellous- thank you Wusthof.

Fantastic products and equally as great customer support when things don’t go to plan. I had a knife which broke due to an unnoticed crack in the blade, and a year later Wusthof honoured their lifetime warranty, shipping a replacement knife. Particular thanks to Holly, who was very helpful, professional and friendly.

Outstanding customer service. I won’t go into the quality of their products—anyone who knows anything about knives already knows how good they are. I recently had to contact their customer service (both EU and UK, since I bought the knife in Italy but now live in the UK) regarding their lifetime warranty policy, and I couldn’t be more satisfied. I was genuinely impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of their service.

Having purchased a Wüstof kitchen knife, I was disappointed to find that after only a few months the blade became degraded, despite using a Wusthof branded sharpener and following the instructions to the letter.

Holly at customer services, supplied me with a simple returns form and the knife was replaced quickly and without delay.

I received a fantastic response from Wüsthof when reported damage to the handles of two 'Classic' kitchen knives, both of which are over 20 years old. Both knives were replaced quickly and without any fuss. Not only are these very high quality knives, but it is great to find a lifetime guarantee that means what it says.

One of our Wusthof knives broke after many years of trusted use. As per the guarantee with these wonderful knives the knife was replaced without any trouble. Highly recommend Wustof and their customer service.

Always loved our knives. We bought a block about 11 years ago and one of the knives handles broke. I wrote to Wusthof to see if I could get the handle repaired. I didn't know they came with a lifetime guarantee. They sorted a brand new knife out to me and it arrive 2 days later in the post. Amazing knives and amazing service.

The knives are brilliant, and, providing you take care of them (avoid the dishwasher), they'll last forever.
