With over 100 years in the fishing industry and one of the largest privately-owned fleet in Britain, we catch, land and sell the finest quality fresh fish from Newlyn, Cornwall. Our own fleet of boats allows us to have control over the entire process, from the catch sector, to processing and then directly to your plate. With careful handling throughout the entire process, we pride ourselves in providing the highest quality fish to your plate every time. Today, our core fleet consists of 12 beam trawlers still fishing out of the tidal port of Newlyn Harbour every day. Providing jobs and work for the local community is very important to us while supporting other local businesses and fishermen, and we hope to continue fishing with the Newlyn community for many more years to come. Speedy delivery of an amazing big box of the freshest fish… great selection of lovely seafood, a real treat. It’s so hard to find good fish to buy so this has to be the answer.

The monthly fish box is amazing
The monthly fish box is amazing! I use Stephenson’s when I’m in Cornwall but getting a delivery to Leeds is a real treat! The quality of the fish is fantastic and you’ll be amazed at the value if you shop at the likes of M&S. My last delivery included Hake, Cod, Mackeral, Monkfish and Plaice. I’ve told everybody I know about it. What’s not to love, it represents such great value and supporting local/small businesses is a massive priority.

I've never been disappointed with the products from this company. Fish is always fresh and well packed. I've used them several times. The quality is always superb and delivery/communication is excellent. Id definitely recommend.

Their products are absolutely wonderful. I had been trying to buy Dabs for ages without success untiI I found Stevensons. I had forgotten how good Dabs are - I will be back soon for more. Also, the courier they use is First Class - the driver couldn't have been more helpful - he didn't just leave the box on the doorstep and run off - he brought the box inside and even took it into the kitchen for me - I am in a wheelchair so really appreciated his help.

Fantastic fish straight to our door. So fresh, well prepared and packaged so some went into the freezer and I have a stock of different fish to cook over the month to vary my diet.

Fish packed nicely
Fish packed nicely. But delivery came TWO days later from another company called ocean seafood Ltd in st Austell. I do not understand this because I ordered it from Stevenson in Newlyn, and should been delivered overnight?

Just to clarify, Ocean Fish and W Stevenson are part of the same company. W Stevenson & Sons handles home deliveries, while Ocean Fish supplies our wholesale customers. Rest assured, your order was managed within the same company to ensure quality and care.

Excellent choice of fresh fish. The only trouble was with the carrier as it was delivered a day later than promised! I was worried about the quality but that was still good!
