Re: WoodForest Bank on Park Vista Blvd: Bad experience in my request for a service involving a deposit….rep failed to advise me of an option to, instead of placing a ‘hold’ on a deposit of a check to cash check at the issuing bank instead for quicker access…..horrible customer service

Someone got my debit card number and…

Someone got my debit card number and placed an order on amazon for $300.When i checked my account the next morning at 6am I noticed the charge.Called customer service as soon as they opened had to deal with an extremely rude individual who basically blamed me for the charge.My card did get killed and an investigation was opened.Here two weeks later I called back to get an update the person I spoke with who by the way talked like he had a mouthful of peanut butter said the investigation was denied and the case was closed.My days with woodforest are now numbered.

The lowestle el of service available!

All I can say is stay as far away from this bank as possible. There is no true banking infustricture behind this bank. Everything is done locally and based upon your local bank, your experiance will vary from bank to bank
The corporate office in Texas offers no support to customers having issues at the local branch. You have been warned.

Woodforest Bank in Salisbury, MD

I visited the location in Walmart in Salisbury, MD on 07/01/2027. When I arrived, there was a customer in front of me, one counter person and two people at desk. The female at desk the asked what did I need, I replied that I would like change for $20.00, she replied and pointed at the counter person, she can help you. Apparently, the counter person (who never acknowledged my presence) was having some type of technical issues assisting the customer. I had been in line for seven minutes. Instead of taking care of my less than a minute transaction, the female that was sitting at the desk came over to provide assistance to the counter person. After waiting three additional minutes. I like without being serviced. I saw this as blatant rudeness and if I were seeking a financial institution, Woodforest would not even be an option.

This is a beyond sad

his is a beyond sad. I've been banking with wood forest for close to 15 years. I'm a senior citizen. I put a check-in on Tuesday. The 16th, the 16th and they're telling me now that they're going to hold it to the of June 26 they sais therir hold it 11 days?? What bank does that?? Local check!! . I am so sick of this bank. Beware, everyone!!!! Law!! By law in NC bank isn't aloud to hold local past two days!!

fast friendly response.

I had a pending unauthorized charge on my account and I called to have it fixed and was addressed fast and with my concerns and to help make sure that that company could not take my money again. Woodforest is always looking out for their account holder in a true business fashion. Thank You.

Awful customer support and non-transparent policies. Woodforest National Bank cares only about draining your money with unexpected charges. Do yourself a favor and find a better bank.

My banking experience with Woodforest

I bank at the Kestermill Branch in Winston Salem, NC. I am. 66 yr old and they help me with all my needs. They go above and beyond to help me understand so many things, simple and hard. They really make me feel safe and secure banking with them. I feel like I am with family, everyone is so kind and patient with me. I love banking with Woodforest, that is why I have been with them over 30 yrs. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MY BANK, ESPECIALLY ALL THE WONDERFUL EMPLOYEES THAT-HAS BEEN A PART OF THE SERVICES AND NEEDS THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED OVER THE YEARS. I am so grateful and I am never leaving you guys. FYI, when I call and say hello they know exactly who I am, if they could only see the big smile that brightens my face. I am 69 years old May 26

I am 69 years old May 26. On social security. Have social security direct deposit to their bank. When I would not use open teller window with Muslim working and waited on person who was expecting me to issue new bank card due to fraud I was told I was being disrespectful . Today I receive a phone call informing me not to even come in the bank again and they were closing my accounts and would send me my money. When I asked if they would just wait I already have process going to change direct deposit with government. He said No. So Happy Birthday to me. No money fir me this month till heaven knows government gets it done.

I closed my accounts years ago because…

I closed my accounts years ago because my login records showed someone else logging in every day at the same time, apparently a sweep that was bypassing the need for a password. The woman in security told me I must have given my password to someone. I give my passwords to NO ONE. Security/Fraud was no help at all. Fortunately I had very little money in that account at the time. I sent a letter to the Pres of Woodforest and received no reply. I will never bank here again.
