Horrible service
Horrible service. Paid £100 for express Apostille (next working day) due to be delivered for the next day. Now, due to disruptions in their supply chain, the death certificate document which is urgently needed will only be delivered the week after Tuesday. When I asked about a refund down to their standard service (since it will arrive so late) or a cancellation and a refund, it was only met with hostile customer service that hanged up as soon as I asked the name of who I was speaking with. Beyond unprofessional!

We strongly dispute this review and would like to clarify the facts.
You attended our London office at 11:55am on Monday, 30 March, requesting our Apostille Express service. The next-day cut-off is 11:15am, which was clearly explained to you at the time. As you arrived after the deadline, your document was scheduled for submission on the next day, Tuesday, 31 March.
Unfortunately, on Tuesday, there were severe train disruptions between London and Milton Keynes which prevented our courier from reaching the FCDO within its strict submission window. As a result, submission took place on the next working day, April 1st. This was a severe external issue entirely outside of our control and was communicated to you promptly.
Regarding your refund request, unfortunately this was not possible. The government apostille fee had already been paid on your behalf, and such fees are strictly non-refundable under UK government policy.
During your call to our office, your behaviour towards our staff was inappropriate and we do not tolerate rude or abusive conduct, and you were advised to continue communication via email.
Your document was submitted on 1st April and ready on 2nd April, representing a delay of one working day only, which we understand is frustrating and we apologise for.
Please note that for final courier delivery, this also coincided with the UK Easter Bank Holiday period, during which Royal Mail delivery services are very limited.
In summary:
- You missed the next-day cut-off on 30th March.
- Submission delayed by severe external train disruption outside of our control.
- Document completed within 2 working days.
- No refund possible due to non-refundable government fees.
While we understand that delays can be frustrating, this situation was outside of our control and we remain committed to providing you with a professional service.
If you wish to contact our team, please do so respectfully and we will be happy to assist you to the best of our ability.

Unfortunately I gave Westminster the wrong return address which I only discovered when the courier could not deliver the document.

Fantastic service
