I’ve had the same issues as other customers with this company, and wish I had also read the reviews before buying.
When the 3 dresses arrived squashed into a small bag I knew it was t looking good. When I opened the parcel I could not believe what was inside. The most awful dresses I have ever bought.
See through, badly cut, cheap material and nothing like the quality advertised on the website.
I have also been to and fro with emails and them offering me a percentage to keep them or an extortionate amount to send them back.
Their latest email I told them if I did not receive a full refund without paying postage I would take the matter further and contact my bank and report them to the Consumer protection agency.
They replied with a returns form for me to fill in and will send postage details once they have received it. Watch this space to see if it really happens.
Do not let these companies get away with this and give in to them, keep perusing them for your right to return such bad products.

Sorry, I can’t provide links or email addresses here but they are easy to find. The more people who report the same conduct to the platforms behind the business, the more likely it is that meaningful action will be taken.

DO NOT purchase anything from this company!
My recent experience:
1. Goods took about 6 weeks to arrive
2. 4 dresses were packed into a small plastic bag package
3. The 4 dresses are badly designed and sewn. The quality of the material is terrible and not the linen as described
4. The refund policy is false. You will not receive a full refund - only a credit note to spend in their online shop on more shabby goods.
5. I waited two weeks for the customer service agent emailed me the shipping address, which is in China.
6. The refund offered without returning any items is 40% - it started out as 20%.
7. I have yet to receive the refund I was offered.
My advice - DO NOT purchase anything from this company.

Awful products , bearing no resemblance to the pictures and poor quality.
When you want to return - will cost huge amount to return as despite being called Wilson carter London- it’s not uk based.
It was so much hassle and would have cost so much to return ended up accepting 20% refund as I felt I had no choice . Truly awful products and very deceptive website

I cannot believe how this company can keep getting away with what they are doing.
Please please do not believe anything they say the item are only fit for the bin.
The are stealing money off people and not refunding like they promise, they offer you 5% back and 20% of next order as if you are going to order again from them.

Shockingly bad! 1/ Not based in London. 2/ The garments are of extremely poor quality, very tightly packed and creased. 3/ Very little resemblance with the ads. 4/ Lenghthy despatch. 5/ Communication is polite but the promised hassle-free refund policy is a joke since they quote a chargeable return tax of 30 to 50 dollars per garment. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

Seemed like a UK-based company but when delivery took 2 weeks and the product arrived without proper labels and not resembling the photographs at all, it became clear that it's another scam. Refunds seem impossible too - don't do it!

Do Not Buy from this company. Utterly dishonest. Basically the items you buy are of an extremely substandard quality and they will only give you a refund amounting to a fraction of what you paid.
I cannot believe they are allowed to trade in the Uk. Do not waste your money.

W&S website look good, their presentation says "timeless fashion crafted with premium quality" The website style sort of suggested London UK & prices are all in Pounds Sterling. I selected a yellow men's African style shirt for an engagement celebration. The item was listed at £99.95 reduced to £39.95. I got a further reduction using one of voucher apps and paid £31.96 which was confirmed by W&S promptly. I received a string of emails from them advising order progress progress of the order & promoting other items. The transporter advised item collected & was going through customs clearance in country of departure. I checked W&S out further. W&S claim to be based in London but their registration is in Cheyenne Wyoming, USA with products shipped from China with a W&S tag on it but none of the legal labels. The shirt arrived after 8 days, in a tiny screwed up bag.
The shirt material & cut is very poor quality and only worth £5 or less. I immediately emailed W&S with photos of the shirt received & photo on their website offer requesting instructions for return and rejecting the item & requesting full refund. They ignored my request for return instructions and offered 10% refund (about £3.20) and a 25% reduction if order another item). This is known as the Partial Refund Scam.

No response when contacted. Order still not shipped and no idea if it will even arrive.

This is a misleading company with a refunds policy that wants YOU as a customer to pay up to (quote) “around $40 to $50” for international delivery which I can guess is a deliberate attempt to scam customers out of more funds to avoid their own payouts for dire products. The pictures on the site are AI and do not represent the actual product which was substandard material especially for suede, poor fit, poor quality and at a high price (despite the discount. The quality of the product is frankly not worth even £10.) very disappointed. Company needs reporting.

Awful company. Advertise as London but in reality the stuff is shipped from China. Quality very bad. Asked for refund but they have refused saying I have to send items back to China at huge shipping cost!

Like most of the other reviews!!, ordered two dresses and a shirt!, £97! Just arrived, absolute rubbishDO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE! . Sent merchant email asking for money back, also sent photos of items!!!, my credit card company will start CC dispute with them after 5 working days, I’ve given the 1 star for the delivery driver!!
I would have preferred a -5 rating. They are nothing more than thieves!!

My eye was caught in a popup on Google by what looked like a stylish dress. I checked the website and admittedly there were no details of the composition of the material (which should perhaps have been a red flag) but I liked the colour and style so went ahead (£40 allegedly reduced from over £100 for clearance).
I cannot say that the garment is unwearable, but it was a very poor fit (the mock wrapover at waist was so shallow that the neckline gaped immodestly) and the material was a poly/cotton mix (mainly polyester) which might have been acceptable had it not been so flimsy. I emailed the company politely explaining these defects and asking for details of how to return for a refund.
In response I got an apparently 'caring' email from someone called Emily, but the essence, as in the other reviews, is that you are likely to incur large shipping costs (how is that the customer's responsibility?) and offering either another garment or a 15% refund.
I'm just grateful that I only laid out £40!

I checked the website and this offers 'easy returns' which are 'hassle-free'. I have emailed the company to point out that the process they describe does not comply with the representations on their website and that I now realise that they have very poor reviews (which I wish I had read earlier). The impression given by the website is very far from the reality but I think they have probably stopped short of making representations which would be actionable at law (and I really can't be bothered to waste my time with this).
I shall be giving the item to charity and will await my refund - but I'm not optimistic. I've also informed them that I do not give permission for my data to be used.

I wish I had visited Trust Pilot before being from Wilson and Carter as they are a totally fraudulent outfit. The products are almost not related to the photos in terms of quality and also material, and their returns policy is a total con - most returns cost over $50 to ship back which in most cases is more than the product cost. DO NOT USE THEM.

The worst company ever, I wish I read the reviews before I ordered, I lost my money not aloud to return at all, no full refund 40% only, no cot genuine company its dodgy. Don't order please even very cheap materials not as advertised, not recommended %

CHINESE SCAMMERS - AVOID!!!!

I ordered a dress for a wedding. When it arrived, after a considerable amount of time, I discovered it stuffed into a small ziplock bag and totally wrinkled. I took it out and it was just awful, cheap tat, and certainly NOT as described on their website. It was also not the same colour and miles too big. As other negative reviewers have reported, they advised they’d refund me 15% of my order. I rejected this nonsense as I want every penny back. They advised I’d have to pay $50 to return it before I could receive a full refund. I told them to get lost and pushed & pushed, threatening to report them to the ombudsman and leave negative reviews. They ended up offering 20%, then 30%, then 40% 😂😂 Hilarious. I told them I would accept nothing less than 100% and ended up raising a dispute with my bank for a full refund, as I have plenty of evidence to back-up my claim.
Before this shoddy piece of crap arrived, I had placed another order for three more items. Two of them are ‘acceptable’ but very cheap material and a bit crappy, yet the shoes are not as described and seem to be made of some sort of plastic material that stinks like a ‘factory’.
These Chinese ‘sweatshop’ owners are masquerading as a London-based tailors 😂 and send emails created using AI that are always signed by EMILY PARKER (okay then 🙄) and I feel quite nauseous that I’ve spent money in support of a sham outfit that probably exploits children. It’s shocking that they’re allowed to trade in the UK and I’m in the process of reporting them to everyone I can think of.
Scams, fake goods, child exploitation… you name it, it’s going on and it needs to stop. Please do not purchase from these BRAINLESS CHARLATANS!!!!

This company misrepresents themselves as being based in the UK. This is false. They are actually based in China or the US - not sure exactly where. They also say that returns are easy when in fact the cost of return is often a lot more than the cost of the item purchased. This is a scam. Then they try to offer you a refund of 10% to go away.

So disappointed. The dress I received didn’t match the one in their advert. The material was a glossy polyester which looked cheap and nasty.

Unfortunately this is more of the same reviews you see online. Chinese company parading as a London based business. Returning a pair of shorts would cost over 50usd to China (non starter) and the size and quality is nothing like advertised.

Chargeback is the only option after returning several emails with their customer service.
