Wenzel's the Bakers Omdömen 

Our family had a funeral reception in Greenford recently for my mother in law. Logan in the Northolt Wenzels couldn't have done more or being nicer. Thank you so much Logan on behalf of my wife's family for the quality of food and the sensitivity. Highly recommend them.

I’ll never go back to Wenzels as the quality is absolutely terrible and very poor. However, the staff was nice.

I’ll stick to Greggs.

Wenzels could learn from the great quality of Greggs.

Very friendly and helpful staff, food never disappoints. At Christmas the staff were amazing when I asked if they could order me some Christmas gingerbread and they went above and beyond and my kids were so happy. I love and must say I'm probably slightly addicted to their sandwich baggets as I often get one for lunch. This branch is my go to in high wycombe as I can't fault it 😊

Harpenden wenzles, the girl who served us was so miserable .and rude Please give her a day off 😔

St Albans branch. Rude staff, threw my change onto the counter, I think by buying a baguette and not a whole Meal Deal she didn’t like it.
Cheese salad baguette wasn’t good either.
No more Wenzels for me.

The customer service received from a young lad called Hendon @ the greenford station branch was exceptional. Had a total can do attitude and approach. Please feed this back. His colleague could a tips from him.

The staff friendly and very patient

The staff here are awful! The management treat their employees like crap especially the new one L... The nastiest person I've ever met! They ignore when food is out of date, do not throw stuff out the night before . Bully their staff, do not give them their legal breaks. This wenzels in hitchin really needs to be shut down!

My past 4 orders got cancelled for no reason, won't bother to order from them again, not that it matters as it just gets cancelled anyway, terrible service

Ce snack est infect et le mot est faible sans compter les personnes à l'accueil qui sont impolies, on a retrouvé un poil dans un sandwich et ils ont refusé de le croire et ils étaient agressifs !! A FUIR !!!!!

Baguettes used to be £3.75 but over the weekend they’ve shot up to £4.15! A vegan sausage roll was £2.75 (already on the expensive side compared to competitors) and they’ve increased that to £2.90. I cannot believe they’ve inflated their prices like this, what a joke.

Customer service appalling - rude, slow and unprofessional

Was shocked to discover that none of the staff wear gloves, even when making the sandwiches. Reason being is that I caught a bad gastro bug after visiting their local store.
Surely wearing gloves when handling customers' food is ESSENTIAL.
Worst food hygiene. Not sure I will go back now.

Burnt cold half the order messing avoid this place

I occasionally buy a sandwich from the St Albans (Chequer Street) branch, and have always asked for lettuce to be added. Today, the person rolled her eyes and huffed when I asked. Apparently Wenzel's now charge 20p for a few pieces of lettuce, bearing in mind the sandwich is already £3.50. I suggest, Ana, if you're going to roll your eyes, you at least do it facing away from the customer. Also bear in mind we, as customers, ultimately pay your wages. It was order 58, if anyone at Wenzels wants to look into it.

I visited the store in Waterlooville, Hampshire for the first time last week. The coffee was ok but we were freezing as their big doors are left open. Anyone else experience similar?
I think we'll carry on with Costa, which is warm and has loo's!!

This bakery 10 years ago was one of the best things ever and now it’s honestly one of the worst and extremely expensive every time I go i spend a fortune don’t enjoy the highly processed food and feel unwell afterwards.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FOR STORE DELIVERY - these orders vanish into a black hole you will see other reviews similar. Use Simmons instead if you are local.

I ordered online and the order didn't turn up at the store. Manager gave me other items so we had something at least, very nice and professional of him.

Complained to HQ who look the online order - explained the guy in store was great but that there was still an issue (didnt get what i ordered plus waiting 40 mins).

They offer 20% off my next online order - what a joke. Credit card legal team speaking to them to get me a refund.

When you phone their office no one is there in morning - strange that for a bakery!

I like the consistency of things. Here in west London. The food is either too salty, the tuna or the egg rolls and I eschew from the cakes... way too sugary.
The coffee... for the price... machined. ok. So I only go here for the coffee now. its quick and cheap.
