Webb's delivers 5STAR
The communication from Webb's was great from the start - full tracking provided. My plants were in the sale (hurrah) but they have been boxed up and posted faultlessly, secure and safe. Fantastic boxes, the plants were not damaged at all. Webb's have most definitely provided an excellent level of service. I shall be recommending you to all my friends and family.

I ordered some Lemax products
I ordered some Lemax products and they didn’t arrive in boxes. They came in bubble wrap. I then had asked why, it didn’t say anything on the website that they wouldn’t come and I don’t want to damage them. I asked if I could have a refund and send back, they said yes but I need to pay for it to be sent back.
Update - Hi Webbs, thank you for your response. I’ve just checked your website and noticed that the older dens don’t mention anything about the box, while the newer dens include the note: “Please note: the Elf Lane range does not come in a retail box.”
I’d also like to mention that I don’t feel I should have had to pay for the return shipping. I explained that the item didn’t arrive in the way I’ve always seen it presented—every shop I’ve visited has them displayed in the box—so this was unexpected.

Excellent experience
I have bought plants from online companies before and have been very disappointed but with Webbs I have had a excellent experience, the website was easy to use, the prices are very competitive, the plant arrived very quickly and very well packed the plant was really happy and healthy when it arrived I will certainly be buying from them again.

Egg Chair with Manufacturing Fault
I ordered a double egg chair which came 2 days ago, upon putting it together it had a manufacturing fault whereby one of the tubes didn't have a hole drilled to allow for the support bar to go through at the top. I emailed Webbs as advised but still no response and after calling today I've been told there is no one in till possibly Monday to answer my query??

Visited the restaurant this morning and ordered a breakfast. Food came ridiculously quickly. It looked like it had been thrown together and items taken from pre cooked hot counter even though they weren’t particularly hot! Sausages and bacon were really hard.
I’ve visited many times and this was the worst occasion I’ve experienced with the food.
Won’t be going again in hurry.
Very Poor Customer Service and Curt Response
Following a previous review by Nicky Hearnden (17/03/25), I’ve unfortunately experienced a very similar issue. We purchased garden furniture from Webbs, and after a week, noticed that one of the chairs was missing an adjustable foot. I took the time to photograph the issue and emailed Webbs directly. After two weeks without a response, I called the store and was told the relevant staff member was on holiday, and I should redirect my email to the Furniture Resolutions department.
A few days later, I called again to follow up, only to be told that my email hadn’t yet been seen and that the staff member had a backlog due to returning from holiday. Eventually, I received a reply stating that the part was unavailable and that the manufacturer would contact me directly. I waited again, but heard nothing. When I followed up via email, I received a curt response stating that, as per their previous message, the manufacturer would be in touch and would arrange a replacement.
This entire process has now taken nearly six weeks for a single adjustable foot — and the issue is still unresolved. This level of customer service is simply unacceptable, especially when purchasing from a local business. I always try to support local retailers, but after this experience, I’ll be very reluctant to return and will likely order directly from the manufacturer in future.

Absolutely delighted with the melianthus I bought - good size and great value. Rather less pleased with the minute tree fern in a 5 litre pot but it does look healthy.

I ordered some plants on-line and unfortunately they arrived in less than perfect condition due to the carrier. Andy was amazing , he swiftly arrange for replacements that arrive in a few days . The plants are in super super condition too . Many thanks Andy for first class customer service .
Brew company tea not for me!
Went to the plant cafe ordered two teas. Brew company tea was tepid and bitter tasting. Left the remainder on the table ,thank goodness I had some mints with me to take away the bitter aftertaste!
Very poor tasteless food and dire customer service.
Went for lunch today. Greeted by a lovely staff member and seated. Unfortunately the food was not as good. Ordered a special. Pork sandwich with stuffing and fries and gravy. It arrived the chips were tepid and the gravy served in a pot on the side was only warm and tasteless. I informed the waitress the chips and gravy were not hot enough. She apologised and took it away. When it was returned the chips had and gravy had been blasted in the microwave. The pork sandwich was not good. The stuffing had only been mixed with hot water and it baked. I left it and at no point did anyone bother to ask me how my meal was.customer service -1. I will not return.

A massive thank you to Webbs. I am more than pleased. Not only are the plants beautiful but they have arrived in perfect condition. They have been so well packed. The price of delivery was also amazing compared to the mail order giants which all charge £6.99 now and often arrive damaged sadly. I will definitely keep checking your web site and hope you send out plug plants so I can order from you. I found you in a Google search when I was looking for Crocosmia and you came up the cheapest. Not only that but a decent size pot too at 2L. Would definitely recommend you 🙏

I purchased a 4SO outdoor dining set…
I purchased a 4SO outdoor dining set ((£2499) which has some slight damage to one of the table legs. I reported this to Webbs who simply referred me to their supplier - who ironically Webbs told me they have stopped doing business with!
I had to send numerous reminder e mails to Webbs (4SO’s insist that any guarantee issues - which this is not as the goods were defective when delivered - have to be dealt with via the retailer and they do not provide customers with a direct point of contact) asking what was happening.
The solution they have offered is to have 4SO supply me with a can of spray paint so I can repair the damage myself.
Needless to say I’m not over the moon with the response from either Webbs or 4SO’s but maybe I need to manage my expectations? After all the set was only £2499!!

Plants arrived in very good condition and well packaged. One item was missing but when I called customer service they quickly dealt with it and scheduled a re-delivery. Excellent customer service and lovely plants.

I recently ordered two plants which were on a special offer. They arrived reasonably promptly and were so well packed that they were in perfect condition. The plants were bigger than I expected and absolutely beautiful. Extremely satisfied.

The staff within the garden centre and restaurant were very attentive, helpful and knowledgeable.
As continued customers at your garden centre we felt it prudent to just send an email to remark on the helpful and delightful member of staff who served us in the restaurant today . Rebecca was so pleasant with a very happy disposition as was a member of staff at the customer services desk; we are unsure of the member of staff’s name but she assisted us at approximately 1.30 pm today.
It is always a pleasure to frequent Webbs and with the helpful and happy greeting we receive we shall continue to do so.

Every plant snapped
Delivery took longer than expected , on arrival every plant was snapped, one plant snapped at root completely destroyed plants. Box was a disgrace when it arrived.

Edit- after response over email , a full refund was made. Benefit of the doubt that courier didn’t handle the package correctly.

Great shopping experience
This is exactly how your retail experience should be. Just bought a Weber BBQ from Webbs at Wychbold, and Steve assisted us and was excellent. Lots of guidance, advice and options clearly described and a few cooking tips too! Very happy with experience and would definitely recommend anyone thinking of bbq to take a look at Webbs.
