I have a domain name with z.com. It has been with them for well over 60 days and should be free to transfer out. I unlocked the (parked) domain and sent the auth code to my new provider and paid my fee. All should have been fine, but z.com tells me the transfer failed for one of numerous reaons without stating which one it was. There was NO reason to deny the transfer out. I will never do business with this awful company again.

Update: My transfer went ahead ... eventually. I had to remove 'privacy' as the authorisation for the transfer was not forwarded to me for approval until I did. I do not have this problem with other web hosts.

I'm having trouble setting up my DKIM. I sent them a message. And the issue has been resolved right away. 5-star reviews are not enough for z.com. Very professional customer service.

This company cannot manage their own web page, as you don't get to dismiss the notification about some policy update.

I can see that I am logged in, but there is a modal window that stops me from going further - very unprofessional.

And after buying a domain yesterday they took my money but demand a id verification - which is impossible to present as the modal window blocks it.

Very, very unprofessional.

I have still not got my domain. What a travesty. Now they want me to register all over again and put the extra money as a credit on my account - seems I won't get the money back from registration #2 of the same domain.

And they say that this is a normal procedure when not all details are filled correctly the first time....!

I really don't endorse this domain seller. Terrible and very slow service. Stay away from this site.

Superbb Suppert and Hasslefree domain registration...
I registered some domains here, it was quick. Like done payment and received email of domain registration.
Mistakenly paid for a domain two times and support was too helpful to adjust the payment of that domain against a new domain...

what I see:

1. when buying a domain using PayPal it immediately directs you to PayPal Checkout, and no longer needs to go to the client-area > invoice page to pay for the domain.

2. the domain is immediately active (under 1 minute) when the payment is successful, this is one of the biggest improvements I feel, there is no more delay/pending when the payment is complete.
