I bought some products from Weareplantmade after I had seen so many great reviews about it. I expected it to arrive within 10 days as stipulated by their guidance on their platforms. It's been 20 days now still nothing. I've emailed them only to get a generic AI email which annoyed me even more. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. There's been no update or follow up on my order. I just want my money back now I feel like I've been scammed. I've never used the product and now I never will. I can see I am not the only disgruntled customer so hopefully something will be fixed from this. This is so disappointing for me because after watching the YouTube interview with the owner I was so inspired but I guess it was all for show. I hope I am able to at least get my money back.
Order not received. No customer service.
After regularly ordering from Plantmade for the past three years, I am so disappointed in their lack of customer service. I placed my order 6 weeks ago. It was shipped three weeks ago and the shipping company have marked it as lost. After contacting them three times to look into where my package is, all I have been forwarded is the tracking link which clearly says there is no parcel to deliver.
I have received 0 assistance. The products themselves are great, really amazing and I love supporting a smaller business, but this customer service is what will stop people staying with the company. There is no business without good customer relations. I canât emphasize enough that Plantmade need to invest in their customer service. I am truly hoping a review will encourage someone to actually help me with my order as contacting them directly multiple times has achieved nothing.
Delivery time is horrendous
I donât know why, if thereâs such a backlog, we arenât hiring some temp staff to help clear it.. or just stop taking orders till it clears. Itâs not like this stuff is cheap, and Iâm now completely out.
Such a shame because the product is good
Such a shame because the product is so good but I placed my order weeks ago, I then emailed to ask where it was so they sent it straight away (which i'm grateful for) but when it arrived half the order was missing... I've since email again with no response... such a shame because the product is amazing...the customer service not so...
Almost a month and my items still haven't shipped
I emailed them twice about not receiving my order that was placed on March 6th, 2025. It has almost been a month and still nothing. They also failed to respond to both emails. Trust me, there are strict laws in the UK regarding poor customer service and defrauding consumers. I am gathering the entities to file with and I will post them here as well.

I never received the order due toâŠ
I never received the order due to delivery issues which the seller was not responsible for but after, I asked the seller to resend the items, (as they received the order back since it was not delivered) yet, the seller refused to resend or refund the sale. The seller kept my money and the items. I can't speak on the products but note, you will not receive a refund from this seller even if you do not receive the products. I would be careful in making any purchases from them. Also, the seller sent the package later than the promised delivery date but the csr, did respond quickly although, not as helpful as I had hoped.

Iâve just received my first order of the rain and dew, shampoo and conditioner bars. I had to wait a little longer due to current uncontrollable delays, but it was well worth the wait! Iâve spent many years trying to find the right products for my curly hair, and omg! These are absolutely amazing! My hair feels so soft already after only one use. I just need to pray they restock these bars soon, as I donât ever want to go back to regular shampoo now!

This is the worst experience I have ever hand with ordering items online and waiting for them to arrive. I was promised my items would be shipped last week after waiting quite a number of weeks and nothing. I emailed them again yesterday, no response but miraculously DPD finally had my order. This is really poor and unprofessional. These products would jave to be Godsent for me to order again. I will look for natural products elsewhere. So disappointed.
Subscription Cancellation
The products are absolutely amazing and they really do work but their shipping delays and terrible customer service is what pushed me to cancel my subscription. I ordered over $100 worth of product (subscription + origin bundle) and it took over two months to arrive, that was after reaching out multiple times to get responses by ai, someone from customer support who was not helpful at all and finally having to reach out via instagram to the owner. I decided to finally cancel my subscription after it happened a second time. They charged me in February 13, 2025 for my subscription and the products still hadnât arrived now March 2025. I reached out March 14, 2025 to see if they at least shipped it but ai responded that my order hadnât even been fulfilled yet. I didnât want to go through the hassle that I had gone through the first time so my subscription is now cancelled and I worked with my bank to get my money refunded. I hope they can get a handle on it bc their products really are amazing.

The product is amazing! Iâve bought this product several times. My only issue is itâs either out of stock or takes a while to arrive. I believe this is an issue with the suppliers of the companyâs ingredients. I sincerely hope that issue is sorted really soon as it does spoil an otherwise perfect buying experience.

I donât usually do this but this is honestly the worst experience Iâve had with an online company. Every single order and Im left waiting months for a product that should arrive in 5 days. My last order was January and itâs now mid March and nothing. Now they are asking me to contact the delivery company who I canât get a reply from and they have stopped replying to my emails leaving my order in limbo. Iâve paid for my orders, havenât received it and you want to act like it isnt your responsibility to ensure I get it.
It might look appealing to buy natural products and you might want to support a Black business but this nightmare is not worth it. The company cannot clearly handle the volume of orders. Instead of scaling, you need to make sure you can improve service for a small volume first. This will only get worse. I havenât had a single order delivered on time and this is my 6th or 7th. Absolutely fuming.
Worst Customer Service
Like many others complaining, I placed an order for ÂŁ100+ after a promo and never received it and told by an AI chatbot that the order has not even been fulfilled meanwhile I've been charged and was told would receive the order is less than 2 weeks. I've had a similar horrible experience last year and thought it was a one-off but clearly not. Asked for a refund and no response from Plantmade?! The email address (nana@weare****.com) given from a previous complaint just bounces back. Your customer service and order fulfilment is really letting you down and makes your operation appear as a scam! Disappointing and you've lost a customer

I placed an order in June 2024 in response to one of Plantmadeâs promotions and advice from a friend whoâs son (influencer) received FREE products which she liked.
I received a notification that my items were partially delivered! I had not received anything!!! When I approached the company they apologised and said I could cancel my order. I cancelled my order after a lot of back and forth communication. I have never received my order (any of it) and neither a refund until I approached my bank. They then refunded a small part of what I had paid ÂŁ45. Plantmade said if I cancel my claim they will resolve the issue. They still owe me ÂŁ75. I wrote to them on numerous occasions to get an answer from what I presume is their Ai. Yesterday they said I need to pay again for the products that I purchased and never received. I tried to resolve this amicably and am saddened that Iâve had to take this action. I am receiving messages of the same from other social platforms. Plantmade need to do better with customer care & service!!!
PLANTMADE: I am invested!
Plantmades products are phenomenal! Iâve never been so invested in a hair company (especially being a male) as I am with them. I thought they might be overpriced but during their BF sale said let me give it a try. I must say all the products are actually amazing, worth the price, I had to even go back and order refills. Canât wait to try their other products and give it a 4.5. Would give 5 stars if their delivery service was A1 and they featured labels on the back with whatâs inside the products and maybe offer another alternative to glass bottles.
Late delivery with no products inside
I placed an order jan 1st and after going back and forth with their AI generated email responses, the order was finally delivered 24 days later. However, to my surprise, when I went to the lobby to pick up the package, the box was ripped open and EMPTY! It was also stamped (I'm assuming by customs/ postal company) that the box was "received without contents". In other words, they shipped an empty box! So needless to say, I have yet to try the actual product, and never will because I will NOT order from them again.
