Maximal effort in advertising and minimal effort on providing a customer service to match

I am currently waiting in queue to speak to someone. I wish i had read these reviews before ordering. My items came late despite me thinking they were next day delivery. Re: the two items i ordered; one was discounted but I fell for the pressure tactic of them giving a limited window of time to add this to original order...i ended up ordering the older model as the second item, in error. Returns are not straightforward as they want you to make conctact first. No reply to email to ask for return. Now in queue on phone. Never got a reply to my original email informing them of the accidental order and requesting cancellation or advice on how to return. How frustrating to see they also just paste the same response on trustpilot to each poor review that comes in. As i dreaded, i
I have just got from 17th in queue to 1 (30 minutes waiting) only to hear the message: 'please email us... your email is very important to us' and the call then ended. So the customer helpline clearly isn't important. I am now wondering if one could get to the end of the returns window without ever receiving a reply to request for return!

This fan is absolutely fantastic

This fan is absolutely fantastic. I struggle massively with mental health so been cool to sleep is essential to me and this helped so much. Highly recommend

I am extremely disappointed with my…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Vortex.

I ordered two fans a week before the May heatwave, expecting timely delivery given the circumstances. Instead, the delivery process was chaotic and highly stressful, involving unacceptable and intimidating behaviour from the delivery driver.

After raising this, Vortex apologised and rearranged delivery for the following Saturday — right in the middle of the heatwave — and confirmed in writing that I would receive a full refund within five working days.

It has now been over two weeks. Despite sending multiple emails and making several phone calls (often waiting 30 minutes or more), I have made no progress. Calls are routinely cut off when reaching the front of the queue, and I am repeatedly told to email instead. The responses I do receive are generic and clearly do not address my case or even acknowledge previous correspondence.

This level of service is completely unacceptable. I am still owed £219 and have yet to receive any meaningful update or resolution.

If this is not resolved immediately, I will be pursuing the matter through the small claims court to recover the full amount, along with any associated costs. I will also be formally requesting a full investigation into the conduct of the delivery driver.

I strongly advise others to avoid this company based on my experience.

Expect a long wait on delivery (if any delivery) and no response for queries!

Only part that is 5* was ordering. On doing that on 26th May the delivery date was given as 2nd June. Heard nothing. So on 2nd June tried to contact through help desk. Hung on for 30 minutes when was told to use email and would have a response to that within 24 hours. Tried the Help Desk again with same result, 30 minutes wait and message to e-mail. Sent an email on 2nd June and the initial response was a reply in 48hrs . Later that afternoon on the 2nd got a message "Your order is on its way" with a link to DX (delivery company?). Clicking that link gave the message "We have received your order details and are expecting your parcel shortly". Now 5th June. No response received to e-mail and link to DX still says the same. To add insult to injury Vortexair have been sending advertising e-mails.

Response received from Vortexair within a few hours - how can they do this and not respond to already existing customers awaiting their delivery but with NO indication as to when - Vortexair can be busy but that is no excuse not to keep existing customers up to date with their order ! Need to sort out their priorities.

Slow delivery, bad customer service and disappointing fan.

Took a week to be delivered even though advertises next day delivery. Emailed a complaint and got a scripted email about some colours taking longer...didn't actually respond to anything I had said. Emailed again and got ignored. Fan is okay, nothing special, not quiet like I expected and not particularly powerful. Wouldn't buy again.

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. Spent £135 on a fan which promised next day delivery. No mention of any shipping delays on their site until after my purchase. 11 days later still no delivery. Have emailed twice with no response. Spent 30mins on hold on the phone only to be told by a recorded message that I had to send an email and someone would get back to me within 48hrs which obviously isn’t true as no one has replied to my previous emails. Their ‘live web chat’ is just a query form which says that someone will respond within 24hrs. I want a refund and can’t speak to anyone to arrange this.

Looks like I'm having the same issue as…

Looks like I'm having the same issue as everyone else!!

I ordered on 26th May with a delivery date of 2nd June. Nothing has arrived, no updates, nothing. After emailing CS I still am yet to receive a response.

I tried to call, again was on the phone for 30 mins starting at number 25 in the queue! Only to get to the front receive an automated message to email and then they hung up!

What sort of BS is this!?!

SHOCKING !!!

SHOCKING !!!! I am starting to believe this company is fake, ordered my Vortex fan 22nd May, supposed to be next day delivery as stated, now its 5th June and still no fan ! I have emailed multiple times & just get a scripted reply saying delays with shipping ! tried calling many times, to be held in an alleged queue of 20plus callers, then get closer to number 2 in queue and then cuts off, Next week il be driving to their premises, NOT HAPPY !!

I ordered it about ten days ago and…

I ordered it about ten days ago and still nothing! I also tried to change wrongs delivery adress instantly after I ordered though the right vortex channels and have been got back to 7/8 days after saying it’s to late. But the website is only just saying printing label. What’s going on with my order please. Fourth time rrachin out now

Goods never received

Ordered a Vortex air fan 26May. Money taken, £135 rapidly went from my bank account. Received an order email that my order would arrive 1stJune.
Since then . NOTHING.
eMails, no response, phone, cuts off after 30minutes.
Unable to contact ANYONE at this Fake company. DO NOT TRUST THIS ROGUE TRADER.

Poor customer support

I ordered 2 fans which are not performing as expected so I raised a return request on 28 may via email but no response received since 9 days. Calls are unanswered after waiting in the queue for 30 minutes . I still don’t have any response.

2 weeks down the line and still waiting.
No contact.
No update.
No product.
New buyers - it's your call but given the amount of negative reviews definitely a case of buyer beware!!

Shocking customer service and no delivery!

I ordered 2 fans on 24th May, next working day delivery. One arrived on Tuesday 2nd June. One hasn’t arrived yet. Despite 4 emails to vortex I have not even had an acknowledgment of receipt let alone a reply. Shocking customer service! Still not received 3 weeks on and no reply still to any emails

Worse company ever scam

Worse company ever ordered on 26th May. First they charged me for 2. Tried phone them on for 45 mins queuing then got to front automated message saying to email. Emailed still no reply. Money taken Email sent to me saying I would receive fan by 2nd of June. Zero customer service

Didn’t receive my goods, called customer service, been put position 23 in waiting, when reached position 1 asked to email and cut the line. And I tried multiple times during last 3-4 days, always the same, never got to speak to a person. I wrote emails and didn’t get a clear response. You even can’t cancel your order! I would think twice before making a purchase with VortexAir.
