Shoddy quality and workmanship
I bought a pair of Vionic running shoes in February 2024 for over $200 US and they are my last purchase with this brand. This company makes very poor quality footwear. The soles of the running shoes started peeling off, segment by segment within months of gentle use. I wore them for one hour, three times a week in my indoor gym. I sent photos of these barely worn shoes to Vionic and they insist that I ship them from Canada to the US ($80 shipping) at my expense and will not say what, if anything they will do to make it right. I am out alot of money and I am very dissatisfied. The shoddiness of their workmanship is unspeakable. I am now trying to glue the soles back together on my own since the waste of money is so upsetting. Can you imagine! For over $200 US.
Poor Quality & Bad Customer Service
I purchased a pair of $120 sandals just 3 months ago. They were quite comfortable and stylish (probably why many of us purchase Vionics), and I've enjoyed wearing them. Wore them about 4 days per week over the course of 3 months. Walked possibly 2000 - 3000 steps most days, with a couple of days with more walking because of travel.
Just last week, I found that one of the straps on the sandals had ripped. While the upper part of the strap was leather, the underside was PU, and had torn out from where it had been sewn. Literally unwearable after 3 months of moderate use.
When I contacted Vionic's customer service, they told me that this was 'normal wear and tear', so they were not responsible. They also offered me up to $30 if I took the shoes to a cobbler and was able to provide a receipt for shoe repair services. In my area, these services will cost at least 2X that amount, and even more if I want to reinforce the strap on the other shoe so it doesn't also rip.
Here's the problem -- I've only had the shoes for 3 months! A tear that renders the shoes unwearable should not be 'normal wear and tear' after only 3 months of moderate use. After more than a year -- yes, that makes sense. But not after 3 months! In this case, I would have expected a replacement shoe, or at least some type of store credit for a future purchase.
I am very disappointed that $120 can't get you a dependable pair of sandals that last more than a few months. Lesson learned. I won't be purchasing from them again, and I don't recommend them due to poor customer service and poor quality.
Avoid this company
I have ordered Vionic shoes in the past & service/shoes have been fine. This time I need to return a pair. They are not faulty but just don't fit well. I have repeatedly tried to use their return system but it doesn't work. You have to access a returns label online but access is impossible, stuck on a loop. I have emailed the company - no response and 'phoned the company - only a recorded message asking you to leave a message and "they will get back". I'm not holding my breath. Makes me wonder if the company has folded. I am now going to start the process of getting my money back through the payment system. I can do without this hassle and strongly advise everyone to avoid the company like the plague at the moment. This is such a shame as the shoes I have had before are great.
These sneakers were so undersized
These sneakers were so undersized. I ordered a 6.5 medium width and they were over an inch shorter in length than my regular 6.5 sized sneakers! None of the sizing on the box made sense and did not correspond to the correct European size equivalent for 6.5 US.
Reyna Flatform Sandal’s sole fell off at first wear, within one block from my house.

Customer Service immediately responded after I posted this, and issued me a refund without any issues. So I am going to change my rating.
I bought the Reyna Flatform Sandals, as well as the Brandie Flatform Sandal which were both on sale. I will start with the Reyna Flatform sandal. The very first time I wore them I was walking to a Dr’s appt, and within one block away from my house the whole sole fell off the left shoe. I had to walked back to my house to change shoes which made me late to my appt. This is unacceptable, I emailed the Vionic, and have yet to hear from them. I sent a photo as proof. I already own two pairs of the Brandie Flatform sandals, and when I received my 3rd pair, which was the same order as the Reynas, I noticed that they were much larger even though they are the same exact size. I compared them to my older Brandie sandals, and they are indeed a size larger even though they are marked as the same size, which was a 3UK. Unfortunately I had already worn the Brandie in my house, I bought them as house shoes, and didn’t investigate the size difference immediately, I thought it was in my head so it took some to time to find one of my old pairs to compare. Not only is the broken Reyna sandal unacceptable, the newly sized Brandie is disappointing as well. Why would you make the smallest size you offer larger in size.
Just don't buy from this place
Just don't buy from this place. Debited my account and never e mailed me with an order #. When I followed up and asked for a refund they instead debited my account a second time and tried to tell me my bank who I have been with for 30 years did this. Thank goodness I have a credit card company I have been with for 30+ years who will fix this.
Errant Service
Vionic failed to confirm the order I placed for 3 pairs of shoes. Stupidly, I made a second order. Then 2 confirmations arrived, within minutes. It was after closing, so less than 15 minutes later, I sent a message asking to cancel the 2nd order. Vionic asserted that no order could be cancelled because both orders were in process. This amounted to more than $1,000. The duplicated order arrived in 2 shipments, with 2 pairs in one package, and the 3rd duplicate in a second package. That meant 2 shipments to return the duplicated shoes. Vionic also has only Happy Shoes as their free drop-off return. The places listed for free returns are wrong: driving more than 100 miles round-trip led to NO PLACES willing to take "happy returns" scans. With 2 packages of duplicate shoes, I must also pay $14.00 to return shoes. No matter how good the shoes, this inconsiderate customer "service" means I will never order Vionic shoes again. Their return policy is fraudulent.
Steer Clear of Vionic Shoes
My friend and I were both very unhappy with the Vionic shoes we ordered online. The photographs were misleading, and did not look like the shoes that we received, which had fabric instead of leather, which they look like in the pictures. They did not fit true to size and were very uncomfortable. When my friend and I tried to return them, we were not sent the return labels. Then, the company said that it was too late to return or exchange them. If you try to write a negative review on their website, you get a message saying it is too late to review them! Steer clear of this company! My friend and I are out $250+.

Long time buyer but no more
Let me start this review by saying I have bought several Vionic shoes over several years and had no problems until now. Somehow when I ordered my last pair, I got two instead of one pair. I initiated the return process and the rep on the phone said that when I returned it at UPS with the QR code the refund would be immediate. Four days later I still had no refund so I called and the rep was so rude, telling me that the refund process was immediate, but the refund would take 2 to 10 days. She asked me if I needed anything else and I said yes you need to tell people that instead of telling them it is immediate and she hung up on me. I will find elsewhere to buy my shoes now.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I contacted customer service because it had been 2 weeks and the shoes hadn't arrived. They said they would have to send the issue to the resolution team and it would take several days. They did not offer to replace and send a new order, or work to remedy the situation. Once they determined it "likely lost in transit" they offered to refund or replace. The company did not offer expedited shipping or a discount based on the inconvenience, even after waiting almost 3 weeks since original order. They use this que system which takes 2-3 days to get a response each time you write to them. I called and asked to speak to a manager after spending 6 days corresponding through this que system . The supervisor was not apologetic and did not take any ownership of the above situation. She got defensive. She did not put the customer first!
Garbage shoes
Absolutely no quality control and they obviously don't care. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes from them over the course of a year. All size 8. What I received were progressively bigger and bigger shoes. The last pair was the size of a 9.5. What a joke! I even took pictures of the inserts to show the size discrepancies and reached out to customer service...nothing. I'm not sure how you can create a shoe that can be this off, but Vionic has managed to do it. They won the award for garbage shoe and lost me as customer.

Customer service nightmare
Vionic's shoes look so nice and are supposed to be very supportive so you would think this is a quality company. It is not.
The only way I could use more than one gift card on their website was to buy Vionic gift cards with my multiple gift cards. Since the boots I wanted were more than $150 I really wanted to pay for them partly with gift cards. I bought $100 in gift cards and paid the last $50 with a credit card.
I received the boots and they were slightly uncomfortable, but I really loved them so I was torn and let them sit around for 2-3 weeks. Then the boots went on sale for $105. I called Vionic because I wondered if they would just give me the difference and if not I was going to return them as I was still within the 30 day window. I explained the situation and that I hadn't worn the boots yet. The customer service representative said that she could give me approximate $45 in store credit. Since I had paid for most of the purchase with gift cards, it had to be credit and not a refund. I figured this was better than nothing and accepted. She said it would take a couple of days to show up. I kept checking and when it hadn't shown up a week later, I inquired. The response I received was that the boots were marked down to $50 and that is what I paid so there was nothing they could do. I said, no that's not right, I paid $150. So the next person replies that they refunded my credit card the approximately $45. But they didn't do that either so I replied again. The next response was that that I had only paid $50 for the boots (again!). And last, they told me that the $100 gift cards were a "discount" and that they cannot refund to me more than the $50 I paid. This one has no logic whatsoever.
In addition, most replies take several days. I have tried to call them once and was advised to go back to the email. I highly recommend that you think twice before buying expensive shoes directly from Vionic. I would recommend you order from Amazon where you don't have to deal with Vionic and could still return them if they don't work out. Or better yet, just don't let them have your money and find somewhere else, which is what I will be looking for.

TERRIBLE customer service and a real shame since the shoes are really wonderful. Found a "retired" pair of slippers for half price and ordered. Received email the next day saying the order was canceled due to "inventory issues". I checked the web site and the slipper in my size was still available and I was able to move to my cart. Wrote to Vionic via the link on the web site and never heard a word. Kept checking the site and the slipper was still available 3 days later. Contacted Vionic again this time using my email and got a scripted response followed by an apology and an offer for free shipping, which I already had, and a meager 10% off, which if you know these shoes, is nothing special!!!! Checked the site and for the first time the slipper was now not available in my size. I reached out again asking for a better explanation and some additional compensation and never heard another word. Ignore them and they will go away is their customer service policy. I'll go back to Orthofeet. Also great shoes and at least their customer service cares.
200$ Regret - Buy Elsewhere
I ordered a pair of shoes that came to 200$. I sized down a half size because I heard their shoes run big. They were still too big. Oddly enough, one is looser than the other despite them being the same size. If I’d ordered a size 7 they would have been way too narrow. I can not comprehend why Vionic can’t get their sizing right. Really not worth the money, there’s far better brands in their price range and I won’t be purchasing from them again. I literally can not wear these shoes even with a toe insert to make them smaller. My heel just falls right out when I walk around with them. I’m so disappointed. When I submitted my honest but poor review to their website they didn’t display it which leads me to believe they only keep favorable reviews. If you’re considering purchasing from them I really don’t recommend it, they’re not well made and the sizing is ridiculous.
