Rücksendungen sind selbst zu bezahlen und dann liegen sie wochenlang irgendwo im Lager herum, somit gibt es auch wochenlang keine Erstattung. Kommunikation über Telefon ist auch nicht möglich, obwoh... Se mer

My experience was flawless

My experience was flawless. I called to confirm that they had a Stetson Open Road in the colour and size I needed in stock. I ordered it and it came promptly.

It was in the Stetson box, which for extra protection was put inside a bigger box, which I appreciate.

It's too bad the Long Beach location is closed! Then I could walk in and get a hat in person without driving to San Diego.

Great product very poor customer service

The product is great .
Customer service is appalling.
I orderd a hat they sent me the wrong hat. They apologised as it was a rare problem.
They asked me photos of proof . I sent them proof .
Then said they would not send me the right hat until I returned the wrong hat and a replacement? hat would be sent .
They sent me a return label to print I requested a QR code as did not have a printer.
Nothing happened so sent them another email requesting what was happening .
They replied we sent you a label you've not returned the hat.

I then rang and spoke to the Head of customer service who in my opinion is very rude .I explained what was happening they apologised again saying it was a rare error they should have sent a QR code.
Once I sent a the wrong hat the would send me a replacement hat.
I said its not a replacement as you sent me the wrong hat I don't want replacement hat .I want my hat that I ordered .
I was codensending.

Eventually I asked for compensation as this had been 2 weeks .She replied we given you a free return label as compensation .
So my compensation is a free returns label that I needed to have because you sent me the wrong hat and thats fine in your judgement .
Yes she replied .
Eventually after explaining how ridiculous this was she begrudgingly said I could have refund of initial post and packaging.
Still no QR Code still no hat .

EVEN PAYPAL SAYS NO TO THEM

PAYPAL - WHO BLOCKED PAYMENT WHEN I WANTED TO BUY 2 HATS - RAN A SECURITY CHECK AND DID NOT PASS IT FOR THIS COMPANY!!

When I rang PayPal they said they did an automatic security as usual, and this company failed.

I also tried calling the 0800 number to be told no one was available to take my call and hung up!

Coupled with all the other negative reviews.. I say DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS SO-CALLED COMPANY

Warte auf Rückerstattung

Habe die bestellte Ware wegen Nichtgefallen auf eigene Kosten retourniert. Warte seither (ca. 4 Wochen) auf die Rückerstattung des Kaufpreises. Der Shop kann eindeutig nicht empfohlen werden.

Very Poor Customer Service

I ordered a hat on November 9th, and as of November 23rd, I'm still waiting for it. I have emailed Village Hat Shop twice and have not received a response to either one. I won't be ordering from them again in the future.

Excellent customer service

I ordered a bucket hat from village hats unfortunately I didn't write the address out properly and ybe posts office sent it back. I emailed them to ask if they voukd resend it yo the correct address and they did with no problem and no extra charge for delivery again customer service had already sent it back out when I updated my address. I was so pleased it made shopping with them a real pleasure. I love my bucket hat the quality is excellent and well made perfect fit is they have a size chart so I can order the correct size. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who want to but a hat for any occasion and I will definitely be buying from them again. Thank you Village Hats 😃

Retouren (nach 5 Wochen) erstattet

Lieferungszeit gut, Hüte hübsch und gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, aber für die, die ich zurückgeschickt habe, habe ich das Geld erst nach 5 Wochen, mehreren E-Mails, einer negativen Bewertung hier und bei den Produkten auf deren Internetseite bekommen.

Cap not as described.
Polyester lined not cotton - false description remains.
No reply to a polite email - either a promise to email or no answer when calling.
£5 returns charge (and no guarantee of a refund if doing so) means I'm stuck. Wasn't expensive but will not use again.

These hats are not genuine!!

These hats are not genuine, sold a copy ‘north face’ baseball cap. Gutted as i collect these, knew soon as i had it in my hands as i have numerous other genuine ones to compare too. Avoid!!

I was buying there hats through Walmart…

I was buying there hats through Walmart and then switched directly to their website and ordered 6 hats. I don't know why the reviews are so poor. Yes the hats come from offshore. Your going pay a lot more in a local hat shop if you have one within your proximity. I am not sure why the word knockoff is appropriate. Its hard even to buy produce that did not come from outside the U.S.

Customer service below zero

ok, I accepted that, I was responsible foe return shipping. Claiming that, they can’t provide a return shipping label is awful. Spent 30
minutes at FedEx to have the labels, address, content, value etc. filled out, spelling the exact name of the item shipped, then paid CAD 70.00 for the return.
Lead to their website with the “free shipping on all orders”, surprised that, actually this only applies to domestic meaning US customers (happily, despite Trump, Canada is not the 51st sate yet).
Anyway, my hat, supposed to fit ti size, did not. I didn’t complain, just stated that it doesn’t, despite very accurate measurement and was only stated as reason for the return. My only complaint was the ridiculous lack of service in making necessary return exchange refund customer friendly, I was just given a lecture on all issues mentioned.
I would give them zero if I could

Stetson NOT arriving in its collectors box or possibly not a genuine item

Purchased a stetson collectors hat recently and it was shipped without the collectors box which is part of the hat purchase. The customer representative stated that it should've come with the collectors box and when he spoke to shipping department the reason he was given is that they don't have a big enough shipping box to ship that box in. I told him that is not a good reason or an excuse to ship an item incomplete and they will need to ship me the box. They are a hat company and should know better and it should be a priority to have big enough shipping boxes to ship the item complete cheating the buyers of their products. If they are stetson authorized retailer I'm gonna report them to stetson. You cannot be shipping these items by removing them from their original intended collector packaging. They took my info and said they wouldn't know if a manager would be getting back to me. What kind of business is this. How do I even know if this hat is a legitimate stetson. I purchased a hat from them once before and it was a more inexpensive crushable so I didn't think anything of it but clearly this company is cutting corners. Currently I don't recommend purchasing buying any western hats from this company cause they'll just cheat you out of the box or it's possibly not genuine. Really upset with how they handled this. And judging by their trust pilot store they just don't give a shit.

Returns are not friendly

I don't mind paying for a return, but I would appreciate a helpful process to do so (like every other online retailer I've ever ordered from). With Village Hat Shop, you're on your own. They provide nothing - no return label, no return tracking, no return authorization to identify your order. You do all that yourself, including writing your own request for a refund. I won't be ordering from them again.

Beware - Return Shipping is Ridiculous

Beware! I bought 3 hats, all XL and only one fit. The other 2 were ridiculously large even for my big head. The return shipping cost me $46. Don't understand why they cannot offer a shipping label and deduct the cost from the refund (I was told at a LARGE shipping company that is standard practice, because they should get a large shipping discount). Won't ever buy there again. When I complained to their customer service, they said I could have gotten a "hat sizer." Just what I want, a hat sizer in a brand new hat that goes over my ears.

They sell either Chinese knock off…

They sell either Chinese knock off counterfeits or a budget line of traditional hat manufacturers that are now made in China without this being stated anywhere in their descriptions. Nowhere in their pictures do they show a Made In China tag sewn into the inside either.
