Phonecall received from Vertu Motors at Mansfield to ascertain if identified issues from a vehicle health check from a few months ago had been carried out. I would not have minded the call if the advisor on the other end of the telephone had customer service skills or manners. He was rude and abrupt and so I promptly ended the call.
Will take my custom elsewhere.

Had my Audi service and MOT at VW Mansfield this week. They were great. Collected and delivered from home.
April on the Service Desk is like a breath of fresh air. Also helpful with a smile. Kept me updated throughout. Great Customer service.

I collected my brand new car from Volkswagen on the 25th (now my 2nd car from here) the service was top tier and couldn’t be faulted. None of my questions went unanswered and never felt pressured into going for something I didn’t want. A special mention to Naglis who sorted everything for me and had my car ready for me within less than a week - would recommend him to anybody and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We bought a New Tiguan from Vertu Mansfield. We can not praise the service enough. From start to finish Stefan Willis was amazing and nothing was to much trouble. He kept us informed through the whole process keeping us aware of where the New car was in the process of being built. He then spent best part of an hour going through all the features of the Car. I have just bought a new VW Touareg from Vertu Mansfield. Cannot fault the service received in any way. Throughout, the salesman, Fraser, was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly - and replied to any queries promptly. A very pleasant experience throughout.

My car needed checking out as we had a warning light come on and needed it for the airport the following morning. so I spoken with Ben who got me booked in urgently without no hesitation. The problem was sorted promptly and all was good to travel to the airport. On arriving all the staff acknowledged me and even one member remembered me from when we purchased a vehicle from him around 10 years ago. Great staff and can’t thank Ben enough for saving the day.

I booked my car in for a major service and MOT and have had an awful experience and will not be using vertu ever again. My car was dropped off fine and that was easy. I then got sent a video of an inspection on my car which identified a few concerns and was told in the video my front brake pads where 90% worn and measuring under 2mm which resulted in an MOT failure. I called vertu to ask if the MOT had already been done as it wasn't showing on the gov website. I said if it hadn't been done then I will get the work done and take it back for the MOT on a later date. I was told on the phone it had already been done so it had already failed. This was around 2:30 pm. I called back around 3:40pm to see if I could pick my car up in the next half an hour and was told they where just waiting for paperwork and to go through for 5. I got there at 4:40pm and my car was being taken back into the garage as I pulled up. I went in and was told they where just finishing the MOT. I asked why it was only just having it done when I had been told it was already done. I didn't get an answer. My car was then not ready until 5:30 when the latest was supposed to be 5 this was due to it being very late taken for the MOT. Vertu wanted £191 to do front brake pads. The pads cost £25. I took the car home and did the pads and took my car back for retest 3 days later. My car had not been driven over the 3 days due to a failed MOT. It went back in on Monday and failed again. This time on a gash in the wall of the tyre. There was no gash 3 days prior and I didn't hit any pot holes or anything on the way there. I've now lost a premium tyre which was £140 and been given a budget tyre which cost around £30 in place of this. I struggle to understand how a gash appears out of nowhere. I also had to get lifts to work all weekend because my car was off the road and then had to sit there for 2 hours on the Monday for something which should have taken around 15 min. I have had no explanation as to why I was lied to about my car already having the MOT done. My car now has 2 failed MOT'S and doesn't look well looked after due to this. When my car is actually very well looked after. I will not be using vertu for anything ever again and have been very disappointed in my experience. I will not be recommending vertu to anyone and will in fact tell people to stay away from them. They do not carry out proper services and make out your car isn't road worthy when it is fine. When my brake pads where changed they still had between 3.5 and 5mm on all of them yet it failed on less than 1.5mm. They have done nothing but lie this whole experience and then proceeded to give me someone else's invoice at the end with their contact details and home address on which is a massive breach of gdpr but they just don't care at all.

Brought brand new car. Delivered filthy and late. Trim damaged and paintwork damaged as reported on collection. Took over a week to book in for repair of NEW car then returned with new trim fitted wrong.
Still waiting 3 weeks later for 2 nd repair of new car.
Now being ignored and not returning calls.
Avoid at all costs you will be disappointed.
Go to another dealer that treats you as a customer

I received excellent service. I am a lady on her own and they were very helpful at every stage. My car looks like new.

Simon & the team in the workshop were fantastic. Yesterday I needed my Passat fixing urgently so that I could travel to France today with my children. They were so accommodating & could not have done more to assist & support me. Can’t thank them enough!

Bought a 2 year old VW T Roc from Vertu Motors in Mansfield. We live in South Wales so had to do everything over the phone and online. Our sales advisor, Brent, was really helpful and made a personalised video of the car for us, talking us through the spec in detail. From start to finish, the communication was excellent and we felt looked after. The customer service was exceptional. Brent was always available to take our calls and to explain anything. This was the first time we had bought a car from a distance (a three and a half hour drive from our home!) but the whole process was so straightforward that we would definitely buy from them again and highly recommend them. Volkswagen dealerships local to us could learn a lot from Vertu!

It made my day I am disabled and suffer with a few different illness. Brent Webster must be the best employee you have, he was friendly chatty made us feel at ease even though he had to make loads of phone calls to sort my car out, nothing was to much for him. what a guy

Parts department is rude.

From the beginning both Katie and Brett provided an excellent service. All questions were answered promptly including her with getting 3rd parties to quote for towbars/dashcams etc. Would highly recommend VW Mansfield for a great end to end experience.

Went to look at a golf r line , I really liked it but spoke to salesmen naglis, very nice chap but we were to far apart on the money for my part ex.
Next day his manager rang me and upped the offer more than Arnold clark who I was going to go with, he offered me more.
I accepted and things went very well, lovely golf I now have ,only one problem the sat nav didn't work but it was all sorted and I even had a courtesy car whilst it was fixed, this should have been checked before I took delivery of the car, will I go back for my next car...... definitely.

I submitted an official complaint via the Vertu website which triggered an automated confirmation, stating they would reply in 72 hours. 120 hours later, still no response. The complaint stems from my wife taking her VW Polo into their Mansfield branch for it's annual service. On her first motorway journey after the service, she was travelling on the M1, when the undertray became disconnected from the car, forcing her to stop in a live lane. Fortunately a highways patrol arrived within 5 minutes and escorted her to the next services. They examined the underside of her car, to find none of the front lugs had been replaced, meaning the tray was left insecure. He tie wrapped it up for her the best he could to allow her to continue her journey home.
She reported this to them the following day, where the first agent she spoke was really apologetic, and arranged for her to return that coming Saturday and have a new tray fitted. She then called back and tried to change her appointment, where the second agent she spoke to was really rude, and said she could take it in a couple of days earlier, but they couldn't say when it would be done. He offered her a courtesy car, but she would have to pay for it. When she told him she didn't see why she should pay for a courtesy car, when it was their error, he replied with 'OK, we'll see you on saturday then' and put the phone down on her.

We took the car in on the saturday and had the tray replaced. The lady on reception, again was very apologetic, but that doesn't make up for the service she received up to that point.

Terrible service all round, and if it wasn't for the fact that she had 2 inclusive services with the car, we would definitely not take her car back there at all.

Update. Since the reply from Vertu, we have been contacted by the service manager of the branch in question with an apology, and a small token of compensation. She did say that the incident is being investigated internally, to make sure it doesn't happen again, which is a positive step. Due to the conversion my wife had with the service manager, I have increased the star rating, It's just a shame it's taken a negative review to force a response.

Dealt with Mark who was fundamental in a seamless and easy purchase. Not pushy, authentic character and had time for all my questions however last minute they got asked. Highly recommended.
