Bought a used car remotely from this dealership, a Mini Clubman, the detailing of this vehicle was impeccable. The salesman was professional, attentive, and quite frankly an absolute star! I made a few phone calls, asked all the pertinent questions, which Trevor was knowledgeable, answered fully and honestly and by the time I took the drive down to Carlisle, my car was sitting 'proud as punch' at the front of the showroom and looking every bit the car I hoped to find! .. I would not hesitate to recommend this individual and of course the dealership!

I am beyond disappointed with the service department at Vertu Carlisle. While the sales team is great, the after-sales experience is a disaster. I brought my MG EV in for a service, and since the range is already limited (lucky to get 100 miles), I called multiple times beforehand to ask if they could charge it. I was told each time it wouldn't be a problem. However, upon arrival, I was bluntly told they don't charge vehicles. This is a massive issue when you have an 80-mile round trip and the battery drains while being worked on.

To make matters worse, when I was called to collect the car, I asked if the recall had been completed. The response? "We didn't notice that was to be done." I now have to book it back in for something that should have been handled. On top of that, the car hadn't been washed or vacuumed. I was told I could wait another 20 minutes if I wanted it done, but after a day of poor communication and "cheeky" staff who clearly don't care, I just wanted to leave. This was my third disappointing service here and thankfully my last. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

From start to finish the whole experience was great,from booking online to going into the Carlisle branch. Response was very fast.the salesperson Chris was excellent,friendly, knowledgeable and talked me through everything. Would definitely buy from him again.car was perfect in excellent condition with low mileage and at a reasonable price.

Awful service. Rude girl on the service reception desk, lots of wasted journeys in and out to get work done and nobody touched the vehicle.

I contacted Vertu Carlisle in relation to a MG3 in a gorgeous hello yellow colour 😁 after a chat with Richard Latimer I decided to drive up to Carlisle (over 80miles away) to test drive the car.
As soon as I met Richard he was very courteous, welcoming and professional throughout my time in Carlisle. Rich arranged the test drive and within minutes I could see that I loved the car and I was offered a fantastic deal. Meeting the staff in Carlisle made my trip memorable as they are a lovely bunch. Fast forward to a few days before christmas day and my car arrived at my door 😁 So in short I would recommend the team at Carlisle MG Vauxhall Vertu to all my friends a family in a heartbeat. When my service is due I'll be driving back up there just so I can see them again 😁

VW T-ROC 2019 1.6 TDi - AX68 VLT
Viewed car and highlighted numerous faults on the vehicle.
Collected 1 week later after promised faults would be corrected.
Faults were still present but we had travelled 160 miles twice to view/collect the vehicle. Vertu website promised a premium service but failed to deliver that service. They can't even set the tyre pressures correctly and were dangerously imbalanced, also telling the car computer that the pressures were correct! Adblue level wasn't topped up despite Jordan assuring us that he had done both that morning - LIES! The alloy wheel repairs were of poor quality and concealed by mixing the wheels randomly - the new tyres were fitted to one side of the vehicle, instead of the same axle. After complaining about the condition of the vehicle, Vertu arranged to collect the vehicle and carry out further repairs to bring the car up to retail standard. Vertu had the car 9 days and replaced the previously repaired alloy wheel and missing tool-kit. No further repairs to the numerous paintwork defects were carried out despite us giving them the opportunity to improve the standard. We paid retail price but have received a better service from private sellers.
Vertu need to live up to the promises made on their website!

Chris was really helpful in finding me the right car. He explained everything really well and was really efficient. He got me a great deal.

Went to look at a car and Chris came straight over with a positive approach and smile on his face which made me feel very at ease, nothing was too much hassle for him he answered all questions I had and was very knowledgeable. He wasn’t a pushy salesmen unlike others I’d dealt with he was pleasant and very helpful. Sat down with me and went through every detail I needed to know for me to purchase the car. Very easy process and Chris made it that all much easier by being amazing!! Would 100% recommend buying a car from these guys. 5* service and 5* for Chris.
