So far so bad , bought a car from vertu derby Skoda , within 3 months a fault occurred leaking coolant water and faulty sunroof and electronic parking brake fault, and engine cuts out , so I called my local Stourbridge Skoda dealer as I had 12 months warranty they did not want to know ,basically wanted me to take the car back to derby and as Stourbridge Skoda only offer 3 months warranty they didn’t want it ,
very strange as I have 12 months warranty could nt see what the issue is , so I was advised to take the car to vertu ford in Birmingham kings Norton , they had the car in the morning and I got a call on the late afternoon again they seem to not make sense where it was leaking from so the question is did they actually look ? , so I asked the lady what does the engineers report say .she did t know and had to ask the manager if they were fixing the car , she then Tells me we can’t diagnose the car as we’re a ford garage not Skoda , which is correct but I didn’t want to take it there in the first place ,as the car is a Skoda , So I called Skoda and they told me that vertu Skoda can’t liaise with vertu ford as there different dealerships righty so , so I called vertu and a lady explained that’s not true as they work for vertu and they can liaise with each other , this basically brings everything to light and I just don’t believe these warranty’s are worth the paper there written on ,also as Skoda vertu in derby is not the same as Skoda Johnson’s in Stourbridge, you the Have to pay a fee of £175 if the fault is not under warranty so if your buying a car , buy locally or you’ll be stung

The Sales manager Tom and Sales representative Jo were very friendly and professional. They listened to the things that were important for me in a car and gave very helpful advice. I felt no pressure and was not rushed at all even though it was the end of the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to deal with them again.

I’ve had my Cupra Born a week now and…
I’ve had my Cupra Born a week now and I’m really happy with the whole experience at Seat Derby. The manager Mark was really helpful for initial booking and then I was looked after by Ben Tomlinson on the day. A quick turnaround as I wanted to take the car the same day but it was no problem at all for the team. Ben helped to set the car up to my preferences before I was on my way home. Very pleasant experience and would recommend.

Just purchased our second car from this dealership. We did not know how enjoyable buying a car from SEAT Derby could be on both occasions. We saw Ben Tomlinson this time and from our first contact to vehicle handover he was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable always with a smile. Ben is a credit to the business along with the management team , Ryan and Tom, who we met during our visits. Nothing was too much trouble and would certainly recommend this dealership to anyone buying a vehicle.

I have been a Seat Derby customer for a number of years now and this time I had initially dealt with Tom and Joe.
On the day of collection of the new car Ben was who helped me out with the handover and he was great really appreciated him getting it all sorted in quick time as I had to be somewhere at a particular time.

It was Keisi that dealt with me from the start to actually buying the car
She researched really well to find me the right car with all the required options . The car itself is amazing and a dream to drive. I wasn't sure about it being automatic so Keisi was patient with me on the test drive to ensure I was comfortable with it. I would recomend Keisi, particularly for any nervous female who gets intimidated by sales men.Thank you Keisi and if I ever need another car I will come back to you. I love my automatic vw T-Roc xx

Dan, was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all, he talked me through all the technical stuff and was very patient as I'm not the best.

Bought new Arona ( pre reg) Andy was very helpful as most of deal done over phone .
Part exchange valuation fair and after sending video and pics price agreed and kept to when I turned up to collect car.
All paperwork handled quickly and efficiently. Everything explained and car already less than 24hrs after initial phone call.
All in all happy customer and would happily go back to Andy although it’s 100 mile away.
