Bought my 2nd hand (EV) petrol/plug in Discovery in early Jan 2026 from Vertu Guiseley. Sales team kept mentioning please give us a good review when we send some info through- I hate these creepy appraisals- they even offered my a full tank of petrol days later because I had not given a review since the purchase date. JLR gave me the vehicle with no charging cables. When I asked about at the day of collection, JLR said we don't use usually give these out- 3 days later they decided to give me the cables. Then had to get a replacement Boot cover, as the cover was broken- think they would check these things. Days after having the car, the computer screen tells you, you need an update on the car- it says- exit the car, lock all doors and windows and it takes about 45 minutes to update. Tried 3 times. No joy. Then a letter comes from JLR to say your car needs to be taken in for service update, it cannot be undertaken by myself. Take it in to JLR Bradford. They cannot sort it with level 1 technician, now passed to level 4 technician. Eventually sorted, and 2 hours after collection, service update again appears on screen. Drove to Guiseley re problems, and service manager says, lets electric charge the car and see if we can do that update. Did not work. Said I'd take it back to Bradford, then Guiseley come back to me and I take it there again for update. Now appears from me searching the internet, not from anyone at JLR, that service updates require a 100% charge of the car or it cannot be undertaken. At Bradford on 2 occasions I took it there, they never charged the car, and I know this because when I took the car in and got it back, no charge was on the car- so much for a level 4 technician. Over the next few days, week, the screen again says service update required. Now the car is back at Guiseley, they look at it and contact me later to say we have found another issue with the heating system that will take 5- 6 hours to sort. Don't worry they say, all covered by the warranty !!!!. So, over 3 months of having this car technicians don't know about charging the car for a service update. I should apparently be happy that all the issues with the car are covered by the warranty so far, but what happens when the warranty runs out in 12 months and JLR charge £210 per hour. I ask JLR at Guiseley to put me right having only driven 1100 miles in 3-4 months and take the car back from me, because this is a problem car- they say we have to take off money for wear & tear (depreciation). So they offer me just about £6,000 less than I paid for the car, 3-4 months earlier. I did not have a choice, you just know when you have a bad experience, its not going to go away. Having then taken their cash back offer, 3- 4 days later I look at JLR, Guiseley website to see the car back up for sale and they have asked for £5,000 more than I handed it back to them for. The General Manager at Guiseley was informed throughout, so all I share with anyone reading this review, was there any honesty, professionalism, trust, quality. Oh, and by the way, the chap doing the final repurchase of my car at Guiseley said to me, its not my fault, I just work here, but I do hope you can send a good review for me, when it comes through in a few days time !!

Jamie from vertu was fantastic. Kept me informed from start to finish and resolved any glitches with ease. Made me and my son feel comfortable at the show room and did not mind I got lost in Leeds on the test drive. The sat nav came in handy.

I bought a range rover from Leeds Virtue which developed a fault. The staff bent over backwards to initially remedy the fault and ultimately change the vehicle. Ranbir was excellent and went out of his way to help throughout the process along with Ameen. Lovely people...

When I first rang Vertu Motors I was lucky enough to be put through to Safi. Who handled the purchase of our new Landrover Defender. The car spec was thoroughly explained, we were guided through the extras we like and was able to discuss them with Safi who was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. We were updated regularly regarding the build of our vehicle. When it was time to collect Safi was extremely patient helping us through the latter stages of the sales process. His colleague Natasha was also very helpful with the paperwork needed to finalise everything. The cleanest friendliest showroom and staff… All in all all Safi really follows the Land Rover motto “going above and beyond

My vehicle kw72cbf was booked in for a full service on 1/08/24 7 weeks in advance with a loan vehicle last minute loan vehicle was not available as I work in Manchester I told them if my car could be done early as I have come at 8am so I can go for a meeting to Manchester I was assured it should get done by 12 and they will let me know by 11 I called twice after 11 no reply no answer call straight to call centre had to take taxi to Manchester I was assured then the car would be delivered at home I asked what time as my wife had a late afternoon appointment no answer no reply 4 call 3 calls to pivotal the lease company no answer she had to cancel her appointment the vehicle update was sent 10 minutes before delivering the car and it was on the day Vertu and JLR bosses were visiting the dealership extremely bad service customer care just imagine buying a car from the group what nightmare would that be
