Continue to give me final demand…
Continue to give me final demand letters and new parking fines when my management Company has whitelisted my car and confirmed in writing all PCNS will be removed. Harassment and considering further legal action considering I am a resident parking in my allocated space.
This company is running a scam and…
This company is running a scam and seems to be backed by the IAS.
I dropped someone off at Southend Airport, as I have done many times in the past. I paid the £8 drop-off fee over the phone, as I had done many times in the past. The line kept breaking up during the call, but I checked my bank account after the call, and the money had gone, so I thought everything was fine.
A couple of weeks later, I got a fine for £100. I contacted VCS and explained that I had paid correctly and sent a screenshot of my bank statement that clearly says Southend Airport Drop Off. It was rejected because the car number plate was not on the bank statement. The car number plate is never on the bank statement. Any sane person knows that the car number plate is never going to be on the bank statement. Whose car did I pay for, then?
I appealed to the IAS, who are clearly not independent, as they sent the same type of rubbish response I have been getting from VCS.
I work hard for my money and will not be scammed by Karen Gillott and Simon Renshaw-Smith. These people own this scam company, and they will see me in court.
Filthy lying criminal scum
This is a literal actual gang of lying criminals who can rot in prison for all I care. They hounded my brother for 6.5 years for a £1,300 of completely fraudulent parking charge, causing untold stress, and in the end even after winning we didn't even get costs! It would have been cheaper to pay the extorting bastards money they had no legal right to, than fight them!
They are the absolute worst sort of subhuman scum and the only justice any of us will get is the knowledge they will burn in hell.
Despicable company
Despicable company.
But I also blame LBA airport for allowing them to be there. If I had the energy I’d take them to the cleaners for fining my 80 year old father. People like this deserve the karma they get
This has been one of the most…
This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a company.
My cleaner comes to my apartment every two weeks and uses the visitor parking. On one occasion, she genuinely forgot to display the visitor permit and received a parking charge. She immediately told me what had happened and asked for my help because she does not speak English very well.
On the same day, I contacted the company, explained the circumstances and politely asked whether they could consider cancelling the charge as a gesture of goodwill. I never received a response.
Almost three months later, my cleaner received correspondence regarding the charge. By this point, the amount being demanded had increased to £170. I contacted Vehicle Control Services again, explained everything and provided evidence of my original email. They maintained that correspondence had previously been sent and refused to reduce the amount.
What made the experience even worse was trying to pay the £170.
Vehicle Control Services told me that the case was with DCBL and that I had to contact them to make payment. After numerous emails and telephone calls, DCBL told me that their case had already been closed and returned to Vehicle Control Services. I then contacted Vehicle Control Services again, only to be told that their system still showed the case as being with DCBL.
So even when I had accepted their decision and was actively trying to pay, I was being sent back and forth between two companies. It caused an extraordinary amount of unnecessary stress and wasted time simply to make a payment.
Eventually, I managed to pay the £170 myself, because my cleaner could not reasonably afford such a significant charge. She is a hardworking person who made a simple mistake.
I understand that parking rules exist and that a mistake was made. What I strongly object to is the way this was handled: no response to my original attempt to resolve the situation, an increased charge, and then an incredibly difficult process even when I was trying to pay.
In my experience, the entire process showed very little understanding, humanity or respect for people's time. A genuine mistake that I tried to address immediately turned into months of unnecessary stress and a £170 payment.
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. The staff member did not answer my question properly and then hung up the call. I found the manner rude, dismissive and unprofessional.
MARK` REVIEW
PARKED IN A DISABLED BAY WITH MY DIABLED BADGE SHOWING PLUS A PARKING PERMIT WAS IN THE WINDOW AS WELL, THE NOTICE LEFT ON THE WINDOW DID NOT CONTAIN A REFERENCE NUMBER SO I THOUGHT IT WAS A SCAM, TODAY 17/07/26 I RECEIVED A FINAL DEMAND FOR £100 WITH NO OPTION TO APPEAL.
CON ARTISTS !!
What an awful company to deal with
What an awful company to deal with. I have a lease car and stopped at Bristol airport in a no stopping zone. Has taken two months to reach me so not eligible for reduced rate. The short stay car park on approach had red barriers stopping entrance to the short stay car park and as it was late and dark had no alternative but to stop and let my son get in the car. I was expecting the fine and had no intentions of disputing it as l know these companies can be ruthless but was annoyed l have to pay the fine in full. I called VCS for advice and was met with an aggressive female member of staff who just spoke down to me and done her best to try and intimidate me. I was polite throughout the call but was shocked at how quick the call handler changed her tone and how aggressive and dismissive she was. Shocking company with shocking staff!
The first correspondence I received was…
The first correspondence I received was the Final Reminder. Because of this, I was denied the opportunity to appeal or pay the discounted amount and had to pay the full £100. I found the process unfair and the customer service unhelpful.
This is how your contractor, VCS, treats grieving families at Belfast City Airport. Absolute disgrace
This is how your contractor, VCS, treats grieving families at Belfast City Airport. Absolute disgrace.
Disgusting, heartless, and driven purely by corporate greed.
I am absolutely appalled by the complete lack of basic human decency shown by Vehicle Control Services Limited (VCS). My 23-year-old daughter tragically passed away in a car accident just three months ago. On the exact 3-month anniversary of her death, while dealing with immense trauma and severe emotional distress, I had to drop off our niece at the airport, who had flown over specifically to support our grieving family.
Due to sheer heartbreak and a complete lack of concentration caused by this tragic loss, I committed a genuine, unintentional mistake and briefly stopped for a moment in a restricted zone. This temporary stop caused absolutely zero obstruction to traffic and zero financial loss to the landowner. It was an honest mistake made by a father operating under severe psychological distres.
I submitted a formal appeal, attaching my daughter’s Death Certificate as undeniable proof of our bereavement, expecting at least an ounce of empathy. Instead, I received a cold, automated copy-paste rejection. They threw in a single fake line of "sincere condolences" only to immediately demand money anyway, completely ignoring the tragic circumstances.
This company has absolutely no compassion, no shame, and no ethics. They are nothing but greedy vultures preying on people’s worst misfortunes. Shame on you
Company of Manipulative Con Artists
Company of con people. I was given a ticket for accidentally turning into an entrance way at Bristol Airport (for a hotel car park), realising I was in the wrong place, executing a U-Turn and basically ticketed whist I WAITED for taffic to pass before pulling out. This whole process took about 30 seconds. I disupted it - twice, but because I used the word 'stopped' in the sentence ("stopped to wait for the way to be clear") I had apparently confirmed I had 'parked'. FFS. Having read some of the reviews here about the 'appeals procsess' being as flawed and corrupt, I have not bothered try again - they've twisted words to their advantage and frankly, it's put me of flying from Bristol Airport again.
Predatory
Predatory, Aggressive Revenue Generation
An absolute textbook example of a predatory private parking firm. They rely entirely on aggressive technicalities and hidden contract traps rather than common-sense traffic management.
I was hit with a fine for a literal TWO-SECOND stop on an airport approach road. The vehicle paused just long enough for a passenger to step out, turned around, and drove off immediately. No hazard, no obstruction, and zero standard statutory road markings (like double red lines) to warn a moving driver.
VCS deliberately sets traps on roads lacking standard highway markings, hiding behind small-print signage that is impossible to read while driving, then using high-definition CCTV to slap people with massive fines the millisecond their wheels stop moving. They have no interest in fairness or safety; their entire business model relies on automated, zero-tolerance extortion of unsuspecting motorists.
An utterly shameless company. If you get a notice from them, check every detail, but be warned: they operate with zero flexibility and zero common sense.
26 second stop equals £100 fine.
26 second stop!
Stopped for 26 seconds, late at night to pick up my lad from work unknowingly in a no stopping zone. Hadn’t seen the one sign that I allegedly should have seen because it was placed on a sharp bend and was not lit at all. Having revisited the site my headlights would only have lit the sign up for 2 seconds. The irony being is that the sign needs to be read in order for the driver to comply and in order to do safely you must stop your vehicle. Unfortunately stopping means you commit the offence. This is basically legalising fraud but the company will claim that it is in the interest of safety etc.
Absolute disgrace of a company
Absolute disgrace of a company. Stopped on a quiet road for 20 minutes whilst other cars were all parked exactly the same way.. the reason was my 3 year old son was having an autistic episode so we had to walk it out and calm him down.. came back to a £100 fine.. I explained the situation and appealed.. they totally ignored it and wanted payment with in 2 weeks. This company should be looked into it’s a disgrace.
Had a very unpleasant situation with this crooked company in league with the authorities
Had a very unpleasant situation with a fine from a vehicle with a rear camera, driven by a very miserable looking elderly man with glasses at Bristol airport. It was a situation of total entrapment, broke his own parking rules and he hid the car behind the road sign so you couldn't see it. Had a fine even though there were no road markings to indicate a situation of no parking. I had a sick child in the car and I asked the man if I could park there and he still gave me a fine. What a nasty bit of work, totally disgusting and the adjudication service we're biased and appalling. What a nasty company to be avoided.
Scam because of poor directions to car park
Slowed down in the entrance to Belfast City Airport as the directions to the car park which had been paid for is not fit for purpose and being fined £100. No one exited the car and no one was picked up simply trying to find out where to go.
Scum Company
Disgusting, despicable, awful, parasites stopped for less than a minute to pick up my poorly wife from the side of the road at Liverpool airport having paid for parking got a £60 fine appealed it now they’ve passed it onto a debt collector who is demanding £170 ! Praying on honest, hardworking people to fund their company ! Scum !

Dear Sir/Madam.
UPDATE 2-1-26. Owing to the fact that you issued me with a fifth unlawful P.C.N. on 29-12-25. I will now be making a small claims court judgement for £2500 which is £500 for each unlawful P.C.N. I await your response before making formal claim. I will also be seeking damages of £200 per week on top for every week that this 10 month saga has gone on. Vehicle Control Services Limited has until 7 January to address this matter and if it doesn't I will be seeking £10000 compensation.
LETTER BEFORE CLAIM.
Notice of making a small claim against your company.
In March of 2025 you cancelled 2 illegal parking charges against me after I had parked legally in council car parking spaces in the Iceland car park in Abertillery. You have been hounding me recently with threats of court action and bailiffs calling at my home for again parking in 1 of the council parking spaces in the same car park on 19-10-25. Then on 29-12-25 I again received a penalty for parking legally in the same council car parking space on 11-12-25. The South Wales Argus 4 times has reported on your illegal activity and I have contacted them again.
