What a phaf to get insurance

Price ok but was promised a call back promising me greater savings it never happened so probably paid more than i could have. Having to call in to validate my policy is twenty minutes of my life I wont get back . Over all ok but I cant guarantee would use again . Having read the reply to my review I appreciate the sentiment behind it however If I was called back why was no message left with a phone number to allow me to make contact ? sort of emphasises my original point really

(Very poor customer service )
I bought a new vehicle and requested insurance to swop over from my old van to my new van , a simple transaction being an existing customer,not the case.
I had to go to a different insurance company just to fill my new van with fuel ready for work Monday.
This cost me £153.99 on top of the monthly on going cost of my policy with vancompare.

Been with this company for a year had a…

Been with this company for a year had a renew was twice as much as I normally pay so went with another company phone up to cancel what a mess kept me on the line passed me from pillar the post kept me on the phone for about 15 minutes per person then told me they put me food to the one person and passed me to someone else then when I get to the final person they picked the phone up and put it down again had to go for all again they do it thus as a joke if you go with this company you've got to have your head seem to they were all have another very big laugh on my expense idiots a lot of them

Be very careful

Be careful with this company , you are not told the full story , ask what happens if I cancel midterm ? I expected a penalty no problem £40 but then told there was a broker discount given which I knew nothing about !!!
Long and short of it a £297 policy which had only run 75 days I got a refund of £57 !
I would not recommend using this compare site .

I understand your concerns regarding the discount that was reclaimed following the cancellation of your policy, and I appreciate how frustrating this must have been.

The total price of your annual policy included a broker discount, which should have been outlined at the point of sale. As your policy was cancelled mid-term, the cost is recalculated based on the time on cover, meaning you are only charged for the period insured along with any applicable administration for processing the cancellation.

In line with the terms of business that are in place, any annual discount applied at inception is reclaimed on a pro-rata basis when a policy does not run for the full term. I do appreciate that this can be disappointing, and I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. However, these discounts are intended for policies that remain active for the full year.

I was unable to reach you by phone so I have sent you an email addressing this in further detail. I do hope this has helped to clarify matters and demonstrates our commitment to resolving your concerns. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, and we always aim to provide fair and transparent outcomes.

Financial penalty applied for mistake

Totally disgusting behaviour.
Just because their online form is misleading they tried to triple the insurance premium and admitted it was purely due to the error on the form.
