The bike is great

The bike is great, assembly took more than 15 minutes though. Also, it required tools (T40 screwdriver for instance) that were not included and are uncommon.

Good deal on an AMAZING bike.

The business process and speed and quality of shipping were fantastic. The bike arrived clean and ready to go. Only problem was I felt that there was more damage to the bike than was described online, and at least one of the features advertised as part of the bike was no longer on it when it arrived. I would’ve preferred more accurately represented conditions in those two areas. Still a good deal overall.
Edit- These guys made it right folks…they reached out immediately and all I can say is if you’re thinking about buying from them, just do it. Can’t go wrong.

My first e-bike

This was my first e-bike purchase and Christopher, my Upway customer support person, did an awesome job making this experience as seamless and painless as possible. He was patient, he answered all of my questions, and in the end, he made sure I had the e-bike that was perfect for me.

Fuyez sans hésiter !

J'ai acheté le 17/01/2024 un vélo Moustache Samedi x Road sur Upway . Le vélo m'a été livré sans la clé pour ouvrir la batterie ... J'ai du passer par un vélociste agrée qui a du changer le barillet de la serrure . Le support plastique de l'intuvia était cassé .
A partir de 800 km , j'ai commencé à avoir des problèmes de faux contacts qui sont toujours non résolu à ce jour malgré trois passages chez le magasin monvélo moustache Annecy . Celui ci me propose de changer la batterie pour la somme de 900 € . Bien entendu le site Upway que j'ai contacté n'applique pas la garantie constructeur sur les batteries qui sont garanties 2 ans ....

Misleading Ads, Zero Accountability – Avoid Upway

I purchased a high-end Cannondale Carbon Fiber Electric Mountain Bike from Upway, and it turned out to be an extremely regrettable decision. Initially, I intended to buy from REI, a company known for outstanding customer service, transparency, and reliable support, even though their price was slightly higher. However, swayed by Upway’s aggressive social media advertising—which repeatedly highlighted "FREE SHIPPING" without clear exclusions—I mistakenly chose Upway.

Despite clearly advertising "FREE SHIPPING" prominently in their ads, at checkout I was automatically charged a $150 shipping fee without clear disclosure or options to avoid it. Assuming this was a simple oversight, I reached out to Upway's customer support expecting quick resolution. Instead, I was met with repeated scripted responses, defensiveness, and outright refusal to honor their advertised terms, despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue amicably. Their approach felt dismissive, unethical, and deeply unprofessional.

Due to this exceptionally negative experience, I took my subsequent business—three additional high-value electric mountain bikes intended for a charitable event—to REI, whose transparent and responsive service sharply contrasted with Upway’s deceitful practices.

I strongly caution anyone considering Upway: their misleading advertising, poor customer support, and unwillingness to rectify even simple issues speak volumes about their business ethics. Buyer beware—consider trusted alternatives like REI, who stand behind their customers and their promises.

Ich habe vor 3 Tagen ein Stromer st2 bestellt
Heute kam es an
Lieferung einwandfrei
Ein minus Punkt gibt es allerdings das Bike ist immer noch mit der App des alten Besitzers verbunden
Upway sollte bei Ankäufen drauf achten das die bikes aus den Apps gelöscht werden
Support hat bis jetzt noch nicht auf die Mail reagiert

Scammer company that falsely advertises…

Scammer company that falsely advertises and won't honor their warranty.

The bike was advertised as "This bike is brand-new. There are no scratches and the components are all in perfect condition," which wasn't the case. It came with many cosmetic scratches all over.

They also falsely advertised the transmission as being "Shimano Deore XT" and said it meant the entire drivetrain when asked. It was only the rear derailleur, then they tried to blame me for being confused about the description.

They admitted the issues, then refused to honor the warranty. They decided that their warranty on the website was nonbinding and actually meant they could just offer a small take-it-or-leave-it partial refund that wouldn't cover the cost of repair.
