I bought two items and was disappointed from order delivery through trying them on!

It took 2 weeks to arrive- I placed my order on Sept 5, received it Sept 19. I did not receive updates until the day of arrival. The "eco friendly" bags the items were shipped in felt dirty.

One of the items, a black 60's style dress smelled horrible when taken out of the bag. It was much shorter than shown in the photo which showed the dress hitting the model's lower thigh (I'm 5'8). The fabric was cheap, shiny and smelly. The seams were uneven. Even the buttons looked cheap.

I also bought a one piece jumpsuit and again, found that it was very short. The legs on model went close to her ankles- on me, the legs ended right below my knees. The fringe on the jumpsuit was annoying more than fashionable- there wasn't enough for it to have movement or be noticable, but enough to be annoying and get caught in the zipper. The pockets are not usable pockets but an open space that covers the inner pants seam- you can put your hand in the left and out the right.

These are issues you can't easily check the measurements for, so I returned both items. I would not buy anything from Unique Vintage because the quality is so poor and the shipping takes forever.

I ordered my first dress through unique vintage and couldn't be happier! It fits true to size and is so comfortable I never wanted to take it off (also because I looked so good in it) made from quality material worth the price in my book.

EXTREMELY slow to ship. I purchased a dress and paid for next day shipping on 9/11; the ETA provided was 9/15. It’s now 9/16 and it still hasn’t even shipped yet. Customer service via their live chat is beyond useless, and they don’t have a phone number listed. Their stuff is cute if you don’t mind waiting an eternity to receive it I guess.

Misleading shipping times and nonexistent customer service. I purchased a dress that was backordered and said it WOULD SHIP on September 7th. That day has come and gone with no order update. I contacted customer service and was told they were "checking inventory" and that date was when it was due to be back in stock, not when it would ship (despite it saying specifically that was the shipping date on the website). I have been waiting for the "inventory" update for three days. I need the dress for next Saturday and now it seems likely it will not come, and even if it does if there is anything wrong with it I won't have time to do anything about it.

I have been shopping from Unique Vintage for several years and have been very happy with them as a company.
However, I recently ordered a Pink Chick Embroidered Cardigan in a size 2X/3X. It runs large and is, sadly, way too big. I requested an exchange for a smaller size only to be told that it was listed as a "final sale" item so, I am not allowed to just get one in the correct size. And this is after they charged me extra for free returns and exchanges.
First of all, the website does not clearly indicate final sale items. It is not on the main page for the item, it is only posted in the cart, making it very easy to overlook when there are six item in the cart.
The response I received from customer service was:
"We’ve carefully reviewed your request and wanted to kindly let you know that the Unique Vintage Plus Size Pink Chick Embroidered Cardigan was designated as Final Sale when purchased." And then they added double check next time before completing the order.
I explained that all I want is a size I can actually wear, it's not like I want money back.
They did eventually agree to give me store credit. The lady then asked if I would like to proceed with the return and she would send me a return label so I can send the sweater back.
That was more than 3 days ago and I have replied three times saying that I would like to proceed and please send the return label.
Now I am being ghosted by them. So, even though they offered a solution, they still refuse to help me.
Their customer service has gone downhill in a big way. I remember when I first started shopping with them, they were quick to fix problems and help out when you needed different sizing.
I will never again buy from this seller!!

On more than one occasion Unique Vintage has bailed me out of a dress emergency.
Their staff is ON POINT. The clothes are adorable and fun to wear. And they always have great sales!!

As others have mentioned, I too have been a long time shopper with Unique Vintage but in the last 2-3 years something has clearly gone wrong. Items that arrive are clearly no longer the items actually advertised. Quality of fabrics has switched to lightweight see-through fabrics. For example, this dress: 'teal-sleeveless-belted-swing-dress'
The dress which arrived does not have a full swing skirt as advertised and despite being called 'belted' and the dress arriving with a belt, the dress has no belt loops. This has happened with at least 3 items now over the last year. If you are looking for the same high quality items this company used to have, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Had decent quality clothes 3+ years ago but the quality of clothes are an absolute scam. I got a dress that I've gotten in the past and the material is now so see through I can see freckles.

I had to contact customer service and was helped out immediately. Instructions were clear and the responses were so polite. I hadn't bought anything from UV in a while, I've gain some weight and I'm a little shy about buying clothes, but I absolutely loved my new purchases. Great quality and I feel so pretty.

The customer service here is amazing. I realized that I placed an order and forgot to use a coupon code. I also had used a gift card to pay for part of the order. I emailed them and asked if there was any way they could cancel the order so I could try again with the coupon code and she adjusted the price and refunded the difference to me right away. Very friendly and helpful. The clothes at this store are adorable too, I shop here regularly!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experiences with this company. I ordered a swimsuit for my daughter for $54.42, and they sent me the completely wrong item. They admitted there was an error in their product listing and stated that I could return the item for a full refund. The swimsuit was never used or worn, yet I still had to take time out of my day to repackage it, secure it, and wait nearly 30 minutes in line at USPS just to send back an item I didn’t order.

Despite their statement that I would receive a full refund, the company only issued a partial refund.

While dealing with that issue, I placed another order for shoes and a dress. The shoes arrived, but the dress never did. When I reached out about the missing item, the company claimed they couldn’t “find” my order. I ultimately had to dispute the charge through my credit card company because there was no resolution on their end.

The quality of their items has declined, and their customer service has become atrocious. Between incorrect items, missing orders, partial refunds, and the amount of time I had to spend fixing their mistakes, I will not be ordering from them again.

UV used to be my go- to for costuming, but their customer service has really declined over the past year or so. Three times, I’ve had an order “confirmed”, only to find out days and days later that it’s now “out of stock” and my purchase price is to be refunded days after that! Why confirm an order and take the money if the item isn’t available? Once, I get, but this has now happened to me personally three times in the last year. I’m a costumer, and it creates a needless professional emergency. Clean up your act, Unique Vintage!

I have shopped with Unique Vintage many times over the last few years.

They carry quality products, and they have a fair return policy.

Recently I ordered a leopard print skirt. The tracking number showed my package was delivered, but it was nowhere to be found on my property nor had any neighbors found it. I contacted customer support, and they were prepared to give me a one time store credit even though I had not purchased the package insurance. However, my package did finally show up next door at my parents house a few days later. Excellent customer service though.

I bought a kimono and it is both beautiful and made well. I love the unique designs and styles that UV offers. The variety is nice as well. Shipping took a little bit but also not extremely long, I’d personally consider it standard. I only got the one item and didn’t need customer service, but as a first time customer I’m happy with my purchase and would definitely purchase again.

A wonderful ethical company who promote inclusivity and say no to hate. That alone gets 5 stars in the current climate.

Unique Vintage offers very high quality items at affordable prices. They are unique and I have been very pleased with everything I have ever gotten from them.

I placed my first order and received it quickly. The items I ordered were all too large but it’s my first order with this company so that’s not uncommon, I’m still getting familiar with the brand. I placed an order for exchange (free) and received a pre paid shipping label. I opted for immediate exchange ($1) and shipped my goods back next day, my exchange items are already on the way! All items were of of great quality and exchange was fast and easy!

I waited until the last minute to order a dress for a work event and was really hoping the expedited shipping would come through in time. It arrived exactly when I needed it, fit beautifully, and turned out to be the perfect choice for our 4th of July work party! I had ordered from Unique Vintage several years ago and was thrilled to have the same wonderful experience again. Thank you, Unique Vintage, you’ve made me a loyal customer for life!

Unique vintage does not disappoint. Their clothing is true to size. The quality is better than the pictures I love that they have coordinating sets super cute accessories. I love their statement pieces. I am always receiving compliments on all my unique vintage pieces. Ordering is easy delivery is quick.
