Another up Date : Have been informed from UKPA that my payment of £ 3-50 that i paid and appeared on the screen of their payment machine in the Car Park did not cover the duraion of my stay. Surly with the system they have in this car park where they record as you go in and go out , it's down to them to get the duration of the stay correct. i paid what was displayed on there screen.
i have sent an email to their complaints option and am awaiting a reply. May have to appeal to POPLA ?

Absolute joke of a company. I used a carpark to collect a parcel for 5 mins not once was there signs to say i had to pay at the machine. got a letter for a £100 fine i appealed it as i was only in the parking lot for 5 mins surprise surprise got denied. all while being 2 months pregnant this is the last thing a new mum to be needs. hope this business goes bust as everyone who works for this terrible company deserves it taking advantage of people absolute disgrace!!

I received a fine of £60 for not paying a parking ticket. I paid £4.50 for a ticket have proof of payment, then moved to the other side of the car park as it was a cold wet windy day. I still had 2 and a bit hrs on the ticket but unbeknown to me it was a different payment Hozah. I appealed which was rejected. I assumed I would be paying the original £60 , they put it up to £100. I have sent 3 emails and had no reply to date. Was prepared to pay the fine today just to get rid of the stress and they’ve sent it to debt recovery.

We received a penalty letter from this people with a charge of £100. We appealed showing evidence that we paid. They answered by offering a settlement offer of £20, which we are not going to pay.

They are members of the British Parking Association, who say in their website "We are a not-for-profit association". If they keep harassing we'll contact them to file a complaint as one of their members is scamming people.

I just cannot comprehend how a car park for a substantially large shopping retail park, can limit you to a 3 hour parking window.
We had been into two stores which took a long time organizing the purchases, delivery etc.
Now get a letter through the letterbox with a £100 parking fine.
I am.disgusted in such vile unscrupulous business that do this, and find them to be none moralistic disgusting scum.
My advice, don't buy anything off the Meteor Business Park in Derby, as this could happen to you.
Food, clothes, furniture coffee all on the same park. Limiting to 3 hours is f***ing ridiculous.

Absolutely VILEEEE company! I am the registered owner of vehicle, my partner was using it to do a job in the Roaring Meg area, where that company he was working for neglected to register the vehicle. They in result issued 3, yes 3 notices over the 3 days he worked there. They cancelled one after providing evidence, yet refuse to cancel the others. Made an appeal with them as well as POPLA who declined it. I truly think its disgusting how these parking companies treat people. I had all the evidence in the world to support the appeal, yet they just want money and do not care for your situation at all! Disgusting people seriously. So basically the money he's earned has gone to no use but towards the parking fines smh!

Had they used half a brain cell and seen I has set up the automatic payment I wouldn't have had parking notice in Chester, maybe use a full brain cell next time

Total scammer disgusting uwful I don’t know how they allow to robbed people and no one is there to stop them Shame on them I am so angry and frustrated with them 1 star is too much it’s should be minus 5 . I wanted to appeal and 30 times with different browsers and shows me something went wrong and didn’t let me to appeal and I believe this is the way they pocketed dirty money and no reply to my email .

My son (who is insured to drive my car) parked at an indoor football site and entered his details into the machine. I then received a parking charge for £60 which i paid. I was unaware that there was an error with their equipment which meant that everyone who parked there received a fine in error. When I contacted UKPA to advise of the error they said that as I had already paid it there was nothing they could do and would not consider issuing a refund even though the error was with the equipment. Bunch of charlatans.

Visited Chatham car park 1/12/25 and, on leaving, paid the correct fee according to the charge machine. Received a fine of £60 three weeks later. Very difficult to navigate appealing the fine, but did so straight away with irrefutable proof from my bank statement that I paid the fee. They then sent me a revised charge of £20. To save more stress I gave in and paid even though I was in the right. Horrible company to deal with, and reading the many other negative reviews, this is their standard practice. I seem to be not the only one who has been scammed in this way. Shame on you UKPA!

Went into livingston Smith toys to pick up my pal who was outside waiting. I was their for 12 mins and drove out and now l have a fine to pay. Robbing bastards no number and nothing to avoid this shit

I wrongly received a parking charge of £60 after parking in the Wellgate Dundee. I emailed UKPA a bank statement (with my private details blacked out) accompanied with a letter complaining and pictures of the charge. Despite sending them proof of payment and notifying them that the charge was their mistake, they have sent a further letter telling me that I'm now due them £100. They're absolute morons and I won't be parking in the Wellgate again.

Beware if using parking at McArthur Glen outlet in Livingston, my parking wasnt registered despite using their machines on the day, UKPA didnt send a notificaiton, just a final final notification to make sure I was outside of the dispute period. Horrible.

Bought and displayed a ticket for £2.00 at McArthur Glen outlet in Livingston, moved car 100 yards to front of Smyths to collect a large item and received a £60 fine for having no ticket, despite showing the purchased ticket they insist I didnt purchase it, then replied its for an adjacent car park, there are no barriers and you can enter all bays on both sides, nothing stopping you.
They own both so common sense should have applied.
A full day charge is £12 so £60 is excessive and in my opinion extortion.
No contact numbers for these cowboys either, your stuck emailing and when you ask McArthur Glen or Almondvale shopping centre for assistance - you wont get any, its nothing to do with them.

Appealed a parking charge giving evidence of their message confirming payment and their response was to offer a temporarily reduced penalty (£20 instead of £100).

On current evidence they are scammers who make no effort to correct their own errors.

Fortunately we are not easily bullied. We are paying nothing and taking this all the way.

If you really must use one of their facilities then video yourself paying showing entry of your car's registration number.

Sent us a PCN for a car park that had zero signage about a "new" way to pay. They would not accept that they failed to provide reasonable signage. Scumbags

Would love to rate 0 but have to put at least one.
This is the second time I have received a parking charge for the same vehicle that I don’t even own in the same location all because some idiot sat at their desk cannot tell the difference between a v and y. The even funnier part about this is that I have received 2 letters one dated the 22nd October then another dated the 24th October. Therefore 2 people must have handled this yet still haven’t picked up on their errors again! Total incompetence!

Payment machines not working tried multiple machines on different levels and not one worked . Never had an issue before and park and shop there all the time .

Received parking fine sent back photo evidence of machine not working and appeal denied .
Take me to court I’ve have photos the machines didn’t work

As an emergency car assistance worker from experience we always had the fine canceled by the other parking companies by appealing it with evidence of recovery but with ukpa never works and they aren’t helpful at all ripping people as much as they can legally scammers
