I paid the $30 fee when I entered the lot. Thought I got confirmation of pmt. Found a violation notice when I left 3 hours later. Tried to contact customer service ... just got "frequently Asked Questions" and no help. Could not confirm payment with my credit card co. Paid "50% Discounted" violation fee of $37 .50. Seems that I got scammed. I will never use these lots again.

Pure trash, scammy company designed to steal your money. Does not work half the time, and uses every method possible to charge you a full day. Avoid at all costs.

DO NOT PARK WITH AIR GARAGE. I parked in this lot and paid on the app before ever setting foot outside the lot. Then realized what I needed was a two-day reservation, so I applied that (within about 10 minutes, well before my app payment expired). Yes, I double paid. They still ticketed my car, claiming I owed a fine that was nearly six times the cost of a full-day reservation. I appealed on their site—which they do not make easy—and they claimed they waived the fine. But when I check the ticket, it still shows due. I suspect what they're doing is trying to get me to ignore it so they can apply late fees and report it on my credit. Terrible company.

ETA: I've been contacted by "Gerald Villaruel" at AirGarage, and they even claim to have voided the tickets. But of course when I actually check their site, the tickets still show $78 due. They say "there might be a delay" on the website, but it's been 3 days, so more likely it seems that they are trying to wait out the 7 days so they can begin applying late fees & fines.

I received a parking violation even though I paid for the parking. Their website is either very poorly designed, or they intentionally make it very difficult to figure out how to dispute the ticket, and of course there is no one to talk to, it is all through digital communication. The website tells you to go to screens that don’t exist, and when you do try to go to the bottom of the page where the contact info usually is, the website hesitates for a while before showing you the links. I feel badly for older folks who do not know to even look for this, and try to follow the directions they give you in the FAQs because what they tell you to do literally does not exist or work. Once you do submit the problem ticket they send an email to ask for all of the same information that you already submitted and is clearly in their system already before they could issue you a violation.

My issue is not resolved yet.

It really feels like this company is very sketchy and doing everything it can to get your money and make it very difficult for you to resolve an issue while trying to appear legitimate. If that is not the case the only other option is that they are incredibly bad at website design and customer service.

Airgarage at the Delta by Marriot in Philly was a total mess-up. Took me 20 Minutes to setup the "rental". What a waste!

First question: why do I need to provide my phone number (local US-VoIP number not working!!)? No need in any way.

Second question: why do I need to provide an email address at all??

This is just a ridicioulus scam to charge people and collect data to collect further.

My actual rate for an overnight stay at the hotel was not charged at the posted 25 USD/day, but added an additional charge of 0.49 USD as a "service fee".

Marriot, you should just get rid of this f***-up. Talked to some fellow hotel customers -> same response from everyone.

Exceedingly deceptive trade practices in place with this organization. Their posted overnight rate was $30. My car entered the lot at 4:45pm and exited at 9:30am the next day (16hrs. total). I was charged for 2 days at $30.39 plus a 'convenience charge' of $15.00. Upon bringing this to their attention, I was informed that the night ends at midnight and a new day begins at 12:01 the next day. In no way does this make sense when you advertise overnight parking for $30.

Parked for 30 minutes and paid up front for the 1 hour minimum @ $12 p/hr. Amex notified me of the charge from their app. Hours later, I received notification from AirGarage that we were charged the maximum daily of $40. No communication beforehand. Very deceptive practice and nobody to speak with for resolution.

After having to pay more than anyone should have to for the amount of time that I parked, there was an issue with my billing. I contacted their customer service, but of course, they do not have a phone number. Instead, they use AI to respond and masquerade as a real person. (The signature is from a real person, but everything else was generated by AI & they really try to hide that fact, so most people who aren't as familiar w/ the technology don't realize.) Of course, AI can't solve the ultimate problem, but at least they gave me all the reasons in the world to ensure I never park where I see this company's name & logo again.

This company is a complete scam. They make you end your parking, but doesn’t say that anywhere on the app. Stop stealing from people you crooks.

This company will nickel and dime you even when you follow their rules. Avoid at all costs. They are not interested in troubleshooting your issues, or engaging with you as a person. They will get you on a recurring payment without your knowledge. When I confronted them about this, they copy and pasted their dishonest business policies and basically shrugged their shoulders at me. Do no give them your money.

I am out of town visiting VA. I park at air garage. I start the meter by the web site. I come back about an hour later and a ticket is on my car. I go to the police station down the street with my receipts. They inform me it’s not a police ticket and this happens a lot. He showed me how to dispute it. Which I did, and at 9:00 in the evening it instantly said the fine is waived. Impossible for them to even read what I sent. obviously it’s a scam
they play. Give them a ticket and see if they pay it. If a guy robs you face to face he gets arrested. The same should happen here. I will never be visiting the mall in charlestown VA again.

Using this app is now required in the parking lot near my gym. It works as advertised so no complaint generally however I happened to have entered my gym's discount wrong when I set up my account so now I have to manually enter the discount code every time I use it. There is an edit function for other data fields but not the discount code field. I know this CAN work as it's working fine on my husband's phone. SO AIR GARAGE PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW TO EDIT THE SAVED DISCOUNT CODE. Thank you.

In Charlottesville, Virginia, we parked for about three hours and came back with something called parking violation on our windshield with a QR code on it and when we opened it, they said we owed them $78 if we paid in seven days and $88 if we paid over seven days I do not recall seeing any signs with this rate on it or indicating that payment had to be made in advance. It’s a real scam obviously.

This service is a scam, designed to steal from consumers. DO NOT USE THEM. They will charge you the maximum rate unless you use their app to "check out" which they don't disclose up front when you park in the first place. It's literally just way to trick people into spending money they didn't intent. A normal and functional parking app would allow you to set the amount of time you want to park for and just pay for that. Or at the very least, disclose the fact that you MUST CHECK OUT up front - but they do not do that.

I parked at DMV Fordham NY,I didn't scan the QR (because I thought it was after it was used as in other parking lots) when I scan the QR I see an alleged violation when I check $80, but not even the city, I was paying $8 which was what I had to and they didn't accept it maybe .that's why, a complete abuse, there are no signs that say "scan to park, just scan to park.,It's an abuse and first they have to put signs that say "park and scan" from 8 to 80 it's too much not even a violation per park that is 45, abuse!

Only to get a total BS ticket for 1 and 1/2 hours for over $60.00.
We will go to small claims court if necessary. We are seniors with handicap parking and vision issues. This is the biggest scam ever and should be shut down. There was no way to pay on site and if you don’t have a phone or credit card you can’t park there.
It is very very very difficult and unclear how one completes a payment and then they hit you with mafia style charges.
See you in court… I am beyond furious, the fine they expect payed is 1/2 of our dinner bill for a very expensive dinner.
Shame on you. Will never ever ever park in a lot managed by air garage. Total thieves.

ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!! I never pressed the agree button to pay and suddenly they charged me $25 for one hour!!!! There is no way to close your account or remove credit card and no one responds to texts, emails or calls. I feel violated and unsafe that I cannot close my account. Will NEVER use them again

We purchased for 1 hour parking at a garage in Kapiolani Blv. and left the garage in less than an hour. We were charged for $30 when it’s supposed to be $3.50. I texted and called them but nobody is getting back. It’s a scam. There was nowhere that mentioned that we had to let them know before leaving the garage.

Their signage is fraudulently vague. It is customary to pay upon leaving a parking garage. But AirGarage signs do not indicate that the payment process must be initiated via text immediately after parking your car, not upon driving out of the garage. I was shocked to find an $88 ticket on my car. When I protested the ticket they offered a 50% discount - so $44 for a 7 hour stay that should have cost no more than $12. Never again.

This lot MIGHT be safe for short-term daytime parking but do NOT leave your car there overnight. If you are trying to save on the cost of parking at one of the local hotels there are two or three covered lots in the area that will be much more secure. My truck was broken into on this lot after which I moved my truck and just ate what I paid for parking. The owners did not care and would not even offer me a refund. Choose another parking option.
