Fantastic service provided by Reece. Being a high energy user, timing for signing our new business contracts has been critical. Looking to move to a fixed price…
Looking to move to a fixed price package has been on my list of 'things to do' and I have been putting off for months. Bradley from UGP was in contact and he sorted everything from start to finish!
A full breakdown of costs for our current price/use and what this would be on a fixed price was shared with me and the process of moving 2 sites, for gas and electric, from 4 different providers was completed by UGP and has made this so easy to be completed!
The new portal has all our site accounts in one place and we will receive one bill going forwards.

Our United Gas and Power account…
Our United Gas and Power account manager Reece is the BEST ! Nothing is too much trouble and he is always on hand for answering all my queries and questions. Any contracts I need dealing with quickly he is there and gets the job done quicker than any time frame I can give him and always a pleasure to speak to. Follows up when he says he will, and always does what he promises.......what more can you ask. The Customer Service from Reece and the rest of the team is 2nd to none and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They work hard to make my job easy!

ight Seem Like a 5-Star Company Until You Fall Behind on Payments!
UGP may appear great until you hit a tough spot with payments. In my experience, they handed my account to ACS, a debt recovery company, and things went downhill fast.
If you check into ACS, you’ll see just how far they’re willing to go. Despite my business being based in Cambridge, ACS took me to Portsmouth Magistrates Court. Every single communication was done via email, except for the court letter, which was conveniently sent by post and got “lost” – leaving me with no chance to defend myself.
To make matters worse, they completely disregarded my personal circumstances: I’m an insulin-dependent diabetic, and I have a 6-year-old son living in the property, but none of this mattered to them.
If you value your peace of mind, be very cautious before engaging with UGP, especially if you ever run into financial difficulties.

Dear Mr Ogur,
We have requested more information through Trust Pilot as we cannot locate your account.
In terms of ACS, we only pass accounts to them as a third party as an absolute last resort due to lack of or no payments made against the energy used on a business account.
Whilst cutting off energy is a last resort for us, it has to be done in certain situations where we can no longer help finance a business use energy but not make the required payments towards it.
If you have issues over the conduct of ACS, it is something you would need to address with them directly. They will look into your concerns and provide you with a response.
In relation to the disconnection. When a site is attended to disconnect the meter, these are business premises and due to the debt owed and lack of payment, debt processes have to be followed.
It is not a step that is taken lightly, however is necessary when debt is unpaid. ACS conduct visits and issues pertaining to this visit would again need to be discussed with them.
If you can send over your details a manager will give you a call and can discuss this in more detail should you wish.

One of the easiest switch overs I've ever taken part in. UGP were straight to the point with the information we needed to provide, and they did the rest! Anything that we had missed or they needed more information about, they were on the phone straight away so not to delay the switch over.

Really helpful service
Really helpful service. I have been really impressed with the communication received from UGP. UGP notified me at each step of our switch from a previous supplier which was really helpful. This is something I never had from previous business energy suppliers.
A huge thanks to Sarah Stewart and Sophie Walker for their help and smooth transfer to UGP. Both have been really easy and kind to deal with and this is something I really appreciate, especially after having such awful service/communications with a previous supplier.

Stress free switch to UGP
Regan was helpful on the phone and dealt with email questions, quickly and efficiently. Our company had multiple meters that were due out of contract in just a few days. This was no trouble at all and took any stress away from me.
Once the contracts were signed and agreed. I was passed on to Eddie who was also great. He set up an online account for us to submit readings, get copy bills etc. He merged all of the meters into one online account, rather than several.
Thank you. I will definitely recommend your company and will soon switch my home energy too.
