My order was incorrect but was rectified easily and quickly. Great customer service that was very responsive. We were more than adequately compensated for the inconvenience. The clothing we ordered is really lovely.

I bought the Cha Cups (Sheesham/Indian Rosewood), marketed for hot and cold beverages. Straight out of the box they had an overpowering smell — strong enough that leaving them out made my whole apartment smell. Pour in plain hot water and it leaves an oily film on the surface, and on sipping it tastes strongly of tar/chemicals. Let the water sit 5–10 minutes and it turns visibly yellow — I poured it into a glass next to a control glass of the same water and the difference was obvious. So the cup is leaching something straight into the drink.

On top of that, they don't hold water. After a normal hand wash (permitted by their own care instructions), I filled a cup with hot water and it leaked steadily from the base onto the saucer.

I contacted the company. They were polite and said the cups are finished only with food-safe natural oils and beeswax, and suggested washing, drying, and re-oiling. But mineral oil, coconut oil, and beeswax are odorless and tasteless — they don't explain a tar taste or yellow water, and re-oiling won't stop a cup from leaking.

I'd also question the choice of material. Rosewood (Sheesham) is an open-grained, porous hardwood with natural oils and aromatic compounds; it absorbs liquids and odours and is prone to leaching. It's lovely for furniture and décor, but it's a questionable choice for a vessel meant to hold hot drinks — closed-grain woods are far more common for tableware for a reason.

Between the tar taste, the discoloured water, the oily residue, and the fact that they don't reliably hold liquid, these simply aren't usable as drinking cups. Disappointing, because they look lovely — but I'd steer clear until these issues are resolved.

Excellent craftsmanship, we bought the Ido coffee table and it’s beautifully made. The team is very responsive and keeps you updated in case of any delays (which is common and acceptable to a certain extent for customized furniture)

The brand is unique and niche !!!
Fabrics are top quality.. designs are classy ! I have loved all the work of the brand .
Sizes have to be checked with the the chart or the website representative sometimes.
However it is the fantastic delivery service and cooperation of the staff. Credit facility has been very helpful.

scam company. pays for bot engagement. doesn't offer returns. is sneaky about their cancellation policy. even if your order is still processing, they won't cancel either. they don't care about sustainability, they just want your money.

Black is my favorite color, and this brand truly embodies the color in all its forms. Unique brand and avante-garde concept. I came across the brand on instagram and was curious to know its story and products. Good quality and appealing aesthetics. The brand could also accomodate and experiment with more styles and clothing, specially on the good basics, render its own take on wardrobe essentials, like a black blazer, sweater or well fitted jeans, tailored trousers, simple classic wardrobe staples, in addition to its chic bohemian modern variety. Natural fabrics are usually preferred. Customer service is decent and reaches out promptly when contacted, but there is scope for more improvement in this area also. Satisfied with my purchase & best wishes to team 'turn black'.

Bought a long skirt . Quality of the cloth is great .

Ordered a pair of pants in Nov 2025. I have had to repair them four times due to stitching falling out. Customer service has been awful, they have told me that the pants don't fit (they do) and that they check the stitching so there must not be a problem. This week the hem came undone up the leg and they still deny there is an issue and offer any solution

I attempted to use the wooden dinnerware products for the first time and noticed they were already cracking and deteriorating while simply sitting on the shelf. I haven’t even used or cleaned them yet. The quality is unacceptable. And the support won't even bother to answer.

Don't sign up for their mailing list unless you want to receive their emails until the end of time. I placed one order with them and it took ages to arrive. So I tried to unsubscribe from their mailing list at least 4 times, but still receive their spam. Really unprofessional!

I ordered two items from Turn Black, some balloon trousers and a buttoned top with a frill neck. I asked for a different waist and length for my trousers and they were so accommodating, checking the measurements (as what I’d sent wasn’t right!). I knew the order would take a while to arrive as they were made and posted from India, but they arrived quicker than I expected. They arrived yesterday and they are beautiful, they arrived perfectly pressed in a lovely tote bag and are lovely quality: Really happy with my items and the responsiveness of the turn black team.

They customised it as per my measurements and requirements so promptly and most importantly so PERFECT… i love their material their service their fit … overall the best brand to buy BLACK dresses…. I made a purchase on their official site, but due to pricing errors and incorrect shipping charges on their site, the company unilaterally canceled the transaction even though it had already been confirmed. Despite this, I have not received a refund to my credit card for over a month. Their customer service has also provided misleading information repeatedly, and the company cannot be considered trustworthy

Ich habe keine gute Erfahrung gemacht. Nach dem Paket in Deutschland angekommen ist habe ich erst erfahren das ich bei 236€ on top 95€ Steuer zahlen muss was beim zahlen absolut nicht transparent war, habe ich das Paket verweigert und trotz Verweigerung auf Grund Steuer haben sie mir die Steuer übernommen aber ich wollte trotzdem nicht die Ware annehmen. Also wenn man das Paket verweigert zahlen sie das Geld nicht zurück. Finger weg von diesen unternehmen. 236€ sind weg und ich hab kein Paket angenommen.
