Which is Worth It
Following a disagreement with a Trusted Trader I was able to involve Which and with the constructive and very helpful assistance of Nathan Harris the matter was resolved with a satisfactory outcome for both parties. This would have been difficult to achieve if the option of alternative dispute resolution had not been available. Definitely worth employing a Trusted Trader.

Kitchworks definitely recommend the Which.

A process made so much easier thanks to the helpful guys at Which?
During our onboarding to become a Which? Trusted trader they was always on hand to help answer any of our questions. They made the process so easy to follow and their team are always on hand to answer emails or calls, communication is very good.

Lodge Plumbing-- Poor Workmanship and Additional Costs
I hired Lodge Plumbing & Heating Services Ltd to carry out heating and plumbing works at my property. While the work was ultimately completed, the overall experience was challenging and I was not fully satisfied with the workmanship and project management.
What went well:
The team attended site and completed the agreed scope of work.
Gas Safe checks did not identify immediate safety concerns.
Issues I experienced:
Workmanship and design: Pipework was installed exposed along internal walls and around door frames, which required additional carpentry to box in. The bathroom radiator installation also needs to be reworked by another contractor.
Disruption and delays: A leak caused flooding in the pantry and kitchen, which was not treated as urgent. Work pauses and unclear return times affected my renovation schedule and other trades.
Communication: Updates were limited after the deposit was paid, and it was difficult to get clear timelines and explanations during the project.
Outcome: The job is now complete, but I have incurred extra costs for remedial work and project delays. Based on my experience, I recommend prospective customers clarify design decisions, finishes (such as pipe boxing), timelines, and communication expectations in writing before proceeding.
This review reflects my personal experience on this project.

I recently started my own business and…
I recently started my own business and was looking to expand. After speaking with my cousin, he recommended WTT. he is extremely busy, he reassured me that once you complete the vetting process — which takes around a month due to how thorough it is — you won’t need to advertise anywhere else.
Simone and the WTT team have been extremely helpful and supportive throughout the process, guiding me every step of the way. Unfortunately, I received some bad news during my endorsement, and they were incredibly understanding, allowing me to put everything on hold while I dealt with family matters.
My overall experience with WTT has been fantastic. I completely agree with their vetting process, as it really separates genuine, quality tradesmen from the cowboys.

Higher Bebington Gas
Higher Bebington Gas have just replaced our old boiler. They have been extremely efficient.
They came out promptly when our old boiler broke down. They provided quotes to mend or replace and gave us information to allow us to make an informed choice. We chose to install a new boiler.
Alan and Adam arrived promptly on the installation day, worked hard all day and by late afternoon we had a lovely warm house again. They were friendly, efficient, and very tidy.
We have been using them to service our appliances for many years and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Perfection to deal with
Perfection to deal with. So organised and professional. Forget Checkatrade etc as anyone can join them and kid the consumer. Which? TT is by far a serious set up for honest and fair traders.
