Speed of service was good but theâŠ
Speed of service was good but the amount of data given for the plan was not enough. I felt like it was not truely 3 GB of data because with truphone I used two 3GB Plans for a total of 6 GB in two days. Where as, the internet plan Iâm using now, I have only used 3 GB for 10 days with me using it more. Thatâs half the data in 10 times the amount of days.

We are sorry to hear that. It's hard to say what might have caused this issue. We would advise every iPad user to disable software upgrades over cellular or any other application that might use 4G cellular data in the background without you knowing it.

Longer plan with bigger discount
Great but I'd love the option to opt in for longer but with lower pricing - a 6 or a 12 month plan gouged against the rate set by the 30 day 5GB plan.

One down side, dearer than my previous provider.
However, has proven to be very reliable with excellent coverage.
Would have a monthly renewable contract but for the extra cost.
So, just use it when we are out and about in the van.

Bought data for my IPad Pro due to the internet connection at home went very slow. I could not even watch a YouTube video or do streaming IF I wasnât sat by the router, so could barely use my data and paid this service for nothing. Dissapointing

We are sorry to hear that. Maybe you are in a poor coverage area or WiFi on your iPad was still switched ON. To make sure the iPad connects to 4G when WiFi is not working well it is best to switch off WiFi entirely to guarantee the iPad connects to 4G only.
Stay away from Truphone
Stay away from Truphone. They are completely disorganised with multiple centres over the world that do not seem to be connected. The technology is okay, but the human side is unbelievably bad. Probably among the worse customer service I have experienced from any company ever. You'll be signing up for stress and endless email trails to sort out a problem. Save yourself the hassle and stay away from Truphone!

Unreliable, poor customer service, overcharging and no resolution to issues raised.
I am a UK person using TRUPHONE world which allows in bundle calls and texts to and from 100 countries up to 600 minutes and 500 texts.
I signed up as I am travelling to lots of places within the 100 countries in bundle as a backpacker.
Included in the in bundle (no extra charge) are calls between Argentina and UK. I today called a UK number - a Northampton area code. It was a call to my bank. This should be included as the in bundle calls. I have not used all my bundle- in fact I have used only a few minutes of it!
I was shocked to see on my online statement a charge for 18.00 GBP for a 6 minute UK call to Northampton!
I checked to see if it is a premium rate number, it is not. It is a regular Northampton UK landline number.
I also checked the Truphone terms of out of bundle calls to UK from Argentina and it is stated that it is 1.10 GBP per minute. Even if I had been charged at out of bundle rate- it does not equate to 18.00GBP!
When I called Truphone, I reached the Manila office and received no assurance that the matter would be resolved. The member of staff was vague, evasive and could not even confirm that her calling me back to update me on resolution of the issue would not be charged to me or taken from my bundle allowance!
I am very stressed about this and would not recommend Truphone to anyone. I am on a budget, travelling, having saved money.
Even from the start, I had a Vodafone number which I sought to PAC over to my Truphone number. I had this number 23 years as a businessman and have valuable contacts and goodwill in the number. Truphone failed to PAC the number for me. After several attempts, the PAC expired. I let this go at the time and did not follow it up further, but now, I consider this needs to be mentioned in this review to give a full picture of Truphone and the constant struggle I have had with them.
Good luck if you still opt to join Truphone.

We are very sorry to hear this and want to assure you that these issues have now been resolved. There was a problem on our end with your data usages in Argentina being accidently transmitted through our charging system in Antarctica. We have since fixed this.
The wrongful out-of-bundle voice and data charges will be applied to your account as credit. We will also add a free credit to your account as an apology for this mishap.
Moving forward, all your succeeding usages whilst in Argentina is now considered as in-bundle.
