as someone that travels widely across continents, it's great to at last have a company that doesn't charge country by country.
I have had no issues getting online in Australia, New Zealand, UK, Europe so far!

I have been with Truphone since AugustâŠ
I have been with Truphone since August of last year. I have had MANY issues with them. Customer service is polite but EXTREMELY INEFFECTIVE. They love repeating themselves and it takes days and many emails to try and resolve simple questions....and at the end they ask you if there's anything else they can help you with...when they haven't solved your initial problem!
They have an OPAQUE billing system. Bills are not easy to read. Terms seem to change without notice. Service in many places is spotty, or not available.
The concept of Truphone seemed too good to be true, which is why I was willing to give it a try. It has turned out to be a HUGE disappointment. I asked for a PAC number today and will be leaving. Based on my personal experience, I think that anyone considering signing up should be very skeptical that Truphone will really give them the service and pricing experience the are expecting.

Intermittent reception initially
Decided to try Truphone as it would give me flexibility on planned travel in Europe later this month. Have always previously used EE on my iPad, but UK only.
Initially I posted a 2-star review as the LTE signal flashed up fleetingly and then vanished to no signal. Iâm in BA1 (central Bath). Re-started ipad - same thing. A fleeting LTE signal and then no signal.
But it now seems to have stabilised and hasnât dropped while Iâve edited my review.
The roaming flexibility is a big plus.

Disappointing
Very satisfied. Used in Oz and HK and it worked fine. But very disappointed now I find their charges have completely changed and are not at all favourable.
I now give them 2 stars!

We are sorry to hear that. It's hard to say what may have caused this issue. We would advise every iPad user to disable software upgrades over cellular or any other application that might use 4G cellular data in the background without you knowing it.
