Seit Monaten geht der Anschluss nicht mehr, unter der Hotline ist niemand erreichbar. Finger weg!

Es gibt nur 2 Anbieter in Deutschland, die Familienfreigabe mit der AppleWatch ermöglichen. Eins davon ist Truphone.
Also habe ich ein Probeabo für den AppleWatch von meinem Sohn gebucht. Leider ist der Empfang und die Sprachqualität eine reine Katastrophe. Konnte des öfteren mein Kind nicht erreichen, die Uhr verliert sehr oft die Verbindung. Wenn dann die Verbindung steht, ist die Sprachqualität sehr schlecht oder die Verbindung bricht einfach ab.
Support nur per Mail und diese ist nur in Englisch.
Habe nun einen Vertrag bei dem größten Telefonanbieter abgeschlossen. Zahle zwar etwas mehr im Monat, kann aber dafür jederzeit mein Kind erreichen und die Sprachqualität ist hervorragend.

Save yourself the hassle and choose a reputable cell provider. I bought my child a iWatch last year, I wanted a way for her to get ahold of me and I didn’t want to get her a cell phone just yet. Unfortunately Truphone was the only company I could find that had a service plan for the iWatch without needing a cell phone. To put it nicely the service sucks. My daughter has had zero service now for well over a week. I called Truphone and was told someone from technical support would email me. 4 days later I receive a email from technical support telling me that the service connection sometimes doesn’t work inside and that the connection looks good on their end. What really pissed me off was the so called technical support person then says just to use Wi-Fi calling! Really?? So I pay monthly for service that doesn’t work?? Oh and when I asked the girl on the phone if I could receive some type of credit for the service issue she said “No they don’t do that but they’ll make sure my connection is working again”. I am paying for service I am not receiving, I am calling them again today and if they don’t resolve this issue immediately I’m canceling the service.
**Edit: I noticed someone from Truphone responded to my comment and couldn’t match my comment to any of their cases. If Truphone bothers to read this again my case # is 01782668. I’m sure they have thousands of complaint cases open at a time.

I’ve had a pending case with the technical support team for over a week and no one responds or works the ticket when I call for a status update. I’ve called 6 different times and every time I’m told that it will be escalated with technical support and to hear back within 24 hrs and then I get nothing.

People are friendly but so far the promises to review issues go unanswered.

Esim in Apple Watch funktioniert seit 7 Monaten kaum, zu 90% kann ich mein Kind nicht erreichen oder tracken. Absolut unzuverlässig u frustrierend. Genauso wie der Kundenservice- seit Wochen kommen nur Emails, wie von einem Bot generiert. Keine Hilfe! Keine Fehlerbehebung. Keine Kommunikation. Ich will nur noch raus aus dem Vertrag!
Schade, denn die Idee der esim in der Apple Watch ist phänomenal, leider ist truphone da auf dem deutschen Markt konkurrenzlos. Aber das Geld für truphone kann man sich sparen…
Ps: NEIN es liegt NICHT an Vodafone! Ich stehe mit meinem Vodafone-Vertrags-IPhone direkt neben der Watch und habe perfektes Netz, die Uhr nicht…

Hervorragender schneller 24/7-Support, hatte Probleme mit der Apple Watch eSIM und mir wurde umgehend und kompetent geholfen. Auch die Wiedereinrichtung der eSIM nach dem Zurücksetzen der Watch lief völlig problemlos. Einzige kleine Hürde ist die Sprachbarriere, nicht jeder hatte in der Schule Englisch, aber Dank Onlineübersetzer kommt man doch ans Ziel.

Kann nur jedem abraten eine eSim für AppleWatch zu kaufen, obwohl die Idee dahinter genial wäre. In Deutschland wird die Einstellung Mobilfunk in der WatchAPP bei, IPhone Tarife von Discountern, gesperrt.
Nach Kauf der eSim wurde diese problemlos von Truphone auf die Watch übertragen, per EID. Nach Werkseinstellungen der Watch ist die eSim natürlich weg und muss (durch die WatchAPP Blockade für Mobilfunk) erneut direkt auf die Watch übertragen. Jetzt gibt es keine Möglichkeit dies von mir zu tätigen. Von Seiten Truphone-Support kommt immer die Anleitung, den Tarif in der WatchAPP einzurichten, was ja eben nicht geht. Der Support schafft es nach 2 Wochen immer noch nicht, die eSim erneut (per EID) zu übertragen. Rückmeldung gibt es auch seit Tagen keine mehr.
Besser Multisim, von den „großen“ Mobilfunkanbietern kaufen, verringert deutlich den Frust und funktioniert !!

Truphone always has excellent service with real humans fluent in English who readily answer phone calls (without a long wait!) and who are both empowered and knowledgeable to address issues. So weird...fantastic phone support like this is really a unicorn nowadays.

A week ago I ported my phone number into Truphone to be activated on my Apple Watch for Family Setup. I call TruPhone every day and receive the same response that the technical team is working on my case. The lack of action on my case and the other reviews here are leaving me afraid that they are going to either lose or take my phone number. I will post updates and adjust my rating going forward.

On the 2nd of January I purchased a usa truphone add on number to my primary number/amount.

This number failed to work so I made several calls
to the truphone helpline to rectify this issue.

What ever has been done since then by truphone I am now unable to make or receive calls from my primary truphone number despite my account being in credit.

Update - After several Calls to Truphone since 11th January I am informed issue is still not resolved with my primary number so to make or receive calls.

29th January
Now I unable to access my on-line account!!!. I remain waiting for call from supervisor to tell me what has or has not been done.

9th February
Following a call from a supervisor on the 1st February that assured me of case resolution, there has been NO communication whatsoever.

17th Feburary
At long last and a number of recent phone calls from supervisor, the case is now concluded. Thankyou.

Used the MyTruphone APP and the Ipad service on a trip to the US and it worked brilliantly well. Easy to set up, much cheaper than my Day Plan, and has very fast Data speeds. My only issue was on IPad which needed to be tethered to my phone to pay at checkout while I could pick the plan without the connection. Not sure if this is by design or a bug but should be made clear since i wasted a few minutes figuring it out.

Does not work with consistency while travelling and this is coming from a mobile application engineer... self help is poorly constructed and CS lack real technical experience. Compared to competitive set its inferior and recent positive reviews seem to be linked with employees from their website which I checked as couldn’t understand which is dreadful and magic it is not!!!!

Super cool app that puts a cheap mobile data plan on your phone with no SIM!! its like magic. Great for travelling or just more data.

Use it for traveling outside of EU. US, Mexico, Asia. Works perfectly on iPad and with new iPhones as well. Great for business as super reliable.

Ich habe für mich und meinen Kindern die eSim Bestellt. Soweit hat es auch 2-3 Monate funktioniert. Danach ging 4 Monate nichts mehr und die haben die Beiträge trotzdem abgebucht. Habe sehe viele Mails geschickt, um meine Beiträge zurückzunehmen , mit der Folge, dass ich mich nicht mehr einloggen kann. Trotzdem werden die Beiträge munter weiter abgebucht. Eine Mitarbeiterin behauptet nun, dass ich eine Data Only Karte habe und man gar nicht damit Telefonieren kann. Das habe ich nie bestellt.

i'm on day 14 and the problem has not been resolved by the Tec team

Their service did not work at all on a recent iPhone. Eventually they refunded my money.
