I purchased an annual contract for my child's Apple Watch under the Apple Family Sharing terms. We were rarely able to communicate with our child either by phone or SMS and vice versa. The FindMy feature does not work at all although the settings were correct. The network connectivity is extremely poor, your service does not accomplish what it purports to provide. We have returned the watch to Apple and I request a refund of the remaining period of the annual fee paid.

Sono stato negli USA questa estate, e avevo acquistato il pacchetto 20GB a 36 euro: la linea non funzionava mai e dopo solo 2 giorni ho dovuto prendere una scheda locale, e ho richiesto la restituzione in quanto servizio mai usufruito! ad oggi, dopo un mese, ancora mi rimpallano dicendo che uno pseudo ufficio finanziario sta lavorando la pratica. Diamine, 36 euro, teneteli ma vi recensisco dappertutto! EVITATELO!

Can not get it to work here in chicago on iphone13. Use gigsky instead, immediately online.

Update, after delete esim, reboot phone and reinstall esim it seems to work.

I used it for rest of the week in the UsA next to the GigSky that I had bought t get online after TruPhone did initially not work. So it worked after the re-install and some stress. The GigSky esim worked immediately, wish the cheaper TruPhone had worked immediately. But as said, now works. Luckily I have another trip to USA upcoming in which the plans are still valid.

Using this way to report the problem to Truphone. Purchsed prepaid eSim for US for iPhone and it simply doesnt work. Configuration is according to truphone recommendation. Sent 2 email to help@truphone and ask@truohone . Excepted automated response no support answer so far (16h and 4hrs passed). Cases 01901132 and 01900959. So far bad experience.

I have used Truphone before and it worked well however, this month on my trip to the US (Washington DC, West Virginia and North Carolina it simply didn’t. I needed to rebook cancelled flights and ended up using my wife’s phone who thankfully bought a US sim.

As a postscript Truphone was excellent in both trying to support and providing a refund. I will continue to use but perhaps not in that part of the US.

I bought plan for EU and Switzerland non of them worked in any country. Everything was setup correctly.

When I asked for refund they never brought my money back.

I had trouble with my esim in Spain, it was activated but I could not use any data on my iPhone. Their customer service was prompt to respond with email, but we accidentally reset it so my plan was gone on the app. I called and customer service was very quick to provide a refund and I could purchase another plan and activate again. It was a good experience.

Trying through this way to reach out to customer service at Truphone. I got a 30 day package for myself and Canada. I am already over 24 h in Canada and there doesnt seem to be any way to get this package working. I started sending my case to Truphone at ask@truphone when I arrived and already sent 4 mails and the only thing I get back seems to be a auto-reply with case number 01869541 mentioning that they updated my case. I would like to understand why the product doesnt work or get support to make it work. I have used Truphone in Portugal and it worked. Now in Canada it doesnt seem to work. Thanks for your help if you read this and maybe I can improve my rating on the poor service. Best regards, Karl

Service has always been good. So far. But in Italy at the moment and there’s been no data service for three days on two different iPhones using their data e-sims. Despite multiple help requests no response whatsoever. The case number is 01865743 if someone in Truphone can do something about it. And quick too. We really need it atm

Have had 2 Prepaid SIM accounts for more than 7 years. We have auto top up. Just discovered my Wife's SIM has no funds and logged in to manually top up to find a message saying that they no longer support top ups. How else can you use a prepaid SIM?
No communication about this change by e-mail, text or phone. I thought they were a communications company.

I live in Australia, and I recently was given an Apple Watch, as I myself do not own an iPhone, I used one of my family’s iPhones to set it up for myself. The only option for family setup was TruPhone, so I bought myself a plan with it, and so far it is going very well (aside from occasional seconds with no reception when traveling). Especially considering when the other options (if I had an iPhone to pair my watch to) are so much more expensive. TruPhone costs AU$99.00 per year, an equivalent plan from other brands in Australia cost up to AU$1,080.00 per year. I doubt the amount of data per month matters that much for a smartwatch, nor does the speed of said data matter much, I would say, because of the unlikely chances that someone would be downloading terabytes of data on a smartwatch, then, the two remaining factors in considering a smartwatch data plan are the price, and the consistency of the connection. TruPhone aces the former consideration, and some more work could be put into the latter. But, overall, I think it deserves a glowing review.

Ich habe eine eSIM von truphone und dem Global Tarif in den VAE (Dubai) und in Deutschland genutzt. Es funktioniert. ABER der Weg dorthin war nicht leicht. Die Beschreibungen von Truphone sind nicht korrekt bzw. zu wenig konkret. Natürlich sind die Einstellungen bei jedem Smartphone etwas anders, aber die App fragt beispielsweise bei mir immer nach einem QR-Code. Es wäre schön hilfreich gewesen, zu wissen, dass ein solcher nicht benötigt wird. Ich habe nach einer ersten sofortigen Antwort, in der mir aber letztlich nur ein Neustart empfohlen wurde, dann erst wieder nach über einer Woche eine nichtssagende Rückmeldung vom Support bekommen. Wenn man nur 10 Tage im Urlaub ist und den Tarif dafür gekauft hat, ist das ziemlich sinnfrei. Bei meinem Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra hat es dann irgendwann nach mehrfachem Aktivieren von alleine geklappt. Ansonsten würde ich mich vermutlich heute noch mit dem angeblichen 24/7 Support ärgern.

I do not understand the glowing reviews of Truphone. I have been with them for years and now after weeks of calling them I still cannot top up my pay as I go phone, Clearly they do not want my business or they would do something about it in a couple of days not weeks!

Nach dem Probeabo wurde meine Kreditkarte die auch internationale Zahlungen zulässt nicht anerkannt. Die Zahlung wurde immer wieder storniert. Ich habe den Support kontaktiert der sich nach mach knapp 24 Stunden zurückgemeldet hat, nicht wie beworben innerhalb von 60 Minuten. Dieser hat die kompletten Daten aus meinem Esim Account gelöscht, nun kann ich gar nichts mehr hinzufügen, noch nicht einmal meinen Namen.
Zum Glück Habe ich noch nichts gezahlt werde die Esim nicht weiter nutzen, da es absolut unbrauchbar ist. In der Woche die sie ging war der Empfang sehr schlecht, die AppleWatch nicht erreichbar, das ist ja nicht Sinn und Zweck !

Familienfreigabe für Apple Watch funktioniert seit Mai 2021 nicht mehr. Es ist kein telefonieren mehr mit der Watch möglich. Inzwischen wurden 60 Mails mit dem Support geschrieben. Vor drei Tagen versprach man mir nun eine Gutschrift für den nicht nutzbaren Tarif. Jetzt meldet sich überhaupt niemand mehr auf die emails. Support nur auf englisch und nur per mail.
Absolut keine Empfehlung.

Excellent customer service

Have used this service in both the UK and US for more than 10 years. Very efficient, easy to use website / interface, and the C/S is 'one and done'! (you only have to call once). Have recommended to many - I think they are great!
