I’m a host on Tripaneer
I’m a host on Tripaneer, and if you're thinking about working with them or booking a retreat through their platform — avoid it.
They take a massive 30% commission, and over the years their service has gone downhill. Recently, we had a guest book through BookRetreats, and we already paid the commission there. But Tripaneer still demanded their own commission, claiming the booking was theirs. We explained the situation and provided proof, but they didn’t even bother reading the message — instead, they just issued a new invoice. So now we’re expected to pay 60% commission on one booking. Sounds like a joke, but sadly, this is how they operate.
Even after contacting their support and explaining again, their supervisor still didn’t understand what was going on. At that point, we decided to cut ties. This Dutch company clearly cares only about collecting commission, not supporting hosts or guests.
Worse still — if a guest cancels after paying the deposit, Tripaneer keeps the 30% and the host receives nothing. That’s not just unfair, it’s borderline illegal.
Their customer service is non-existent. It takes them days to respond or approve simple requests like blocking dates. They force you to communicate with guests their way, adding unnecessary stress and confusion. The whole system is a mess and gives hosts constant headaches.
If you care about fairness, transparency, or basic professionalism — stay far away from Tripaneer.

The booking in question was processed through our platform. While we understand there may have been parallel listing activity, we requested timestamped proof to help verify the source of the original lead. As this wasn't provided, we followed our usual review process to determine commission eligibility as fairly as possible, based on the information available.
Regarding the commission rate: the percentage mentioned isn't part of our base commission structure. We offer flexibility for organizers to enhance their listing visibility or promotion strategy, which may affect commission depending on selected features. These settings can be managed directly within your dashboard.
We're sorry you felt unsupported during the process. We strive to be as responsive and helpful as possible, though we acknowledge delays can occasionally happen during busier periods. Your feedback is important to us, and we'll review this internally to see where we can do better.
We truly value the work of retreat hosts like yourself and appreciate the opportunity to collaborate in the past. If you're open to it, we'd love the chance to reconnect and explore ways to make the partnership work better going forward.

Ayahuasca Retreat
I spontaneously became interested in an Ayahuasca retreat and ultimately decided to go for it.
Through Tripaneer, I came across a retreat in Malaga that appealed to me the most in terms of value for money and what was included in the price.
In the end, my expectations were exceeded — it was one of the most, if not the most, valuable experiences of my entire life.
So I want to thank not only Tripaneer, who essentially got the ball rolling, but also the truly wonderful and professional Ayahuasca team in Malaga. I would book with them again anytime and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

Scam! Boxing camp did not exist at all
I was the victim of scam.
I have booked a boxing camp - but at arrival, there was none.
I have booked a boxing cam with
"Coach Mitchell", who was supposed to coach "6 Days" in English in a grozp of at least 10 people.
When I have arrived, I have found that I was the victim of a scam: There was no group, there was no coach, nothing. The hotel I was in had a boxing ring, that's it.
My requests for a compensation remained unanswered.

The horse riding experience was amazing
The horse riding experience was much better than expected, the guide took with him a speaker with great music, also took a lot of pictures and videos and shared them for free at the end of the day, it was an amazing experience I highly recommend.

What I like about this trip
What I like about this trip, is that during my search and booking, everything was very clear and delivered in a way that covered all the important information, such as the package of the retreat, accommodation, means of transport, food, and additional activities. I also liked how there was information about the yoga instructors, letting travellers get acquainted beforehand. For people that experience anxiety when travelling, or even people who are detail-oriented in their travel planning, it can be very helpful.

I have booked a
6 Day Residential Horse Riding Holiday for Girls Aged 8 to 15 Years Old in West London
Ealing Riding School from 15/07/24 - 20/07/24. When we arrive no one knows about us, no riding holiday on those days. No phone number to contact them. Still waiting for a response from them. My daughter is very upset she has been waiting for this holiday. Still does not where my money is. Don't book!!!
