From the time of booking the holiday at T.D. in Arnotts i found it to be a very friendly and professional experience. The holiday itself was idea for a solo traveller and for anyone looking to sample what Italy has to offer. It was excellent.

Can you confirm this time please, why the name Michael Barry comes up on my submission. Please let me know.

Excellent trip, well organised and very enjoyable.

Excellent itinerary. Every day was full of new experiences! Our guide Anurag , driver Malkeet and his assistant Babu were all amazing. Good hotels, good food, great group of people.

As I said in previous review, the location was perfect. Excursions very good.
Disappointed with gluten free options for breakfast - packet white bread - last two mornings brown bread available.
WiFi absolutely appalling no service in bedrooms. Loved our guide and everything else.

Great holiday great people and great guide

We had a wonderful holiday in Cannes. Anke, the guide was excellent and very helpful. We went on some great trips and the group gelled well . The hotel was in a great location and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this trip

Company knows it's client base and meets it without being too mother hen. Help is there when needed but people are free to do their own thing when they wish. Only complaint is that sometimes the hotels are not very central but I think the company are thriving to rectify this.

The holiday was as promised, the information provided was accurate and the booking process worked well.

The trip itself , solo Highlights of Japan was excellent. Excellent hotels great location and superb food.

Fantastic trip. Saw & experienced everything we wanted. Number & quality of meals included was exceptional. Advance information on visas & vaccinations came too late and was limited and not particularly helpful. We had to do a lot of research ourselves. Guide was a nice guy but the depth of his knowledge was limited, very good in certain locations & verging on non existent in other areas. Having the same guide for the entirety of the trip over such a vast geographical area didn’t work. That said we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We are just back from a memorable trip to Egypt and cruise of the Nile. It was an amazing trip and so well organized everything went smoothly and was a fantastic experience.
The experience was all the more enjoyable by the care of our tour guide Dodi Fathy his knowledge of everything and his enjoyment of Egypt was infectious. He made everything so amazing. His company and jokes made journeys more enjoyable.
I cannot recommend him highly enough.

This was our best holiday with Travel department so far,excellent hotel,guide and coach driver.

Just had a terrific holiday in Egypt, 2 days in Cairo, 7 nights Nile cruise then 3 nights stay in Hurgada. Our Guide Dodi did a fantastic job his knowledge is terrific really looks after you, without him we would just be looking at the carvings and buildings and not knowing a thing, nothing was any bother to him.

Had a fabulous week in Sorrento. We were met at the airport by Cinzia, then onward travel to the Hotel Ascot. The hotel was in the perfect location, about a 10 minute walk from the main square. I am a solo traveller and paid an upgrade to have a double room. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything that I needed. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a good selection of breakfast items.

Our tour guide Cinzia was first class. Very informative and nothing was any trouble. The tours to Positano and Amalfi were very good but tiring. Both were very busy and there was a lot crammed in, in one day. Our trip to Capri was fabulous. Our tour guide in Capri was Christina and she was also wonderful. Both guides had a fabulous sense of humour. Pompeii was also very good and Cinzia recommended a place for lunch which was well worth the money. I did the additional tour to Ravello which was beautiful and in the mini bus you got a great view of Positano and Amalfi. I thoroughly recommend the Ravello trip.

Sorrento is beautiful with its little back streets and fabulous restaurants. A very safe town. This is a 5* holiday.

Ticked all the boxes from Hotel great food Food and excellent guide Paula. As most travellers were Irish or EU passport holders the only delays were with British passport holders who took so long to clear passport control resulting in an hour long wait just standing about
Brexit bites !!!

Travel Dept trip to Costa del Sol. Lovely trips inc Nerja, Malaga and Granada, olive oil tasting, Lecrin Valley, Salobrena, Frigiliana. Hotel quite comfortable with excellent food,in lovely town of Almunecar. Guide, Clare was exceptional, went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Her knowledge of the area is extensive and her willingness to impart gems of information to add to holiday was very much appreciated.

Easy to Book; kept fully informed of everything required before embarking on trip; good choice of hotel and venue; excellent local organiser and travel guide; great choice of places arranged for visits; comfortable, spotless and modern transport. All in all, a great holiday and company.
