Still waiting - a month to get dishwasher repaired
I called transglobal on May 5th because are dishwasher broke down. They took over a week the formally recognize that I had a warranty with them. They then took a week to send someone out and the technician advised that the motor was blown on the dishwasher. He said it would take 5 days to get the part. We waited over a week before hearing back and then they said they would be able to come out on June 5th. That's a month to get a dishwasher repaired under warranty. We have nine people living in the house at the moment so you can imagine how many dishes this amounts to for a whole month. When I tried to complain to them I got an uncaring so sorry too bad about that there's nothing we can do. Terrible company to deal with. Wouldn't escalate the issue at all.

We moved to a new place and found out the refrigerator is not working. We filed the complaint with The Bricks from which the appliances were purchased. Within days the tech guy Louie arrived and fixed the problem. He is a very friendly, understanding and knowledgeable person, who enjoys his work and tries to resolve problems at his best. My wife and I have purchased a number of items at The Brick in Bathurst NB and our shopping experience was amazing. It all started with our sales Representative Jean-Leo Richardson who did everything to make sure we were happy with our purchases. The team even went as far as to order new legs for our table before we even knew that there was anything wrong with them. I suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and I also have a brain injury, so it is not always easy to go through a shopping experience. It is my belief that Jean-Leo is an asset.

Maytag Dishwasher Repair
I had an issue with the control panel of our Maytag dishwasher. The technician, Jesse came and instantly diagnosed the issue. He order new parts and they were installed about week afterwards. Jesse was prompt, polite and took away all of the cardboard packaging.
I was disappointed that no one from Trans Global called me to tell me that the parts were in......I had to do this on my own.

Frank-great Kitchener technician for our Dryer
Frank came at time promised; very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly; not only replaced faulty part but checked other parts of our dryer to make sure they were still in good working order, cleaned two of the runners for the barrel to make them spin smoothly, even vacuumed out shavings left from grinding of broken part. We are extremely pleased with his service and congratulate TransGlobal on having such a great technician on your team! Would most certainly recommend this company and technician. Have a blessed day!

I purchased 2 Samsung appliances from Home Depot 1 1/2 years ago and both of them are lemons. I am on extended warrenty through Comarco now and have had TransGlobal out multiple times. I get one story after another about how the appliances are just fine. I keep throwing away food because the fridge doesn't keep things cold consistently. I have gotten sick from eating food that was bad three days after I cooked it. The range internal temperature is not consistant so things are either raw when they should be cooked or dehydrated from being over cooked. The timer doesn't work and the burners burn my food on a low setting, so I am throwing out even more food. I eat organic because I am ill and the cost is prohibative. One tech came out and after pulling the fridge apart says he will have to return in 2 - 3 weeks with the parts because they come from Korea. The same technition came out again and said he didn't know what was wrong and would just try swapping out the parts. A different tech came out and basically shamed me for imagining that there was something wrong with my two units and I have been eating off tasting food just to avoid another episode like that. It's time that Comarco who sells the extended warrenty (through Home Depot) step up and take care of this. When I complain to the techs about how badly the Samsungs are working they just shrug. All I want is to be treated right. I'm sick and sending out technition after technition is unfair to me.

SCAM service! told me that company Sumo Appliances will connect with me in Saskatoon no such place-no phone number!!! Home Depot I'm very disappointed - shouldn't be associated in any way with this service!!! so some person from...??? is to call me in 3 business days to tell me when to be home- really? not a local company? what credentials do they have- criminal record check- Seriously- SUMO appliances- its one person no fixed location for all of Saskatoon and area???? . so much for buying extended warranty.

Horrible to deal with
Absolute horrible telephone service. My washer broke down under warranty was told they would call to book appointment. Called me after hours with an automated message telling me to call back to book appt. Was a holiday weekend so therefore had to go all weekend without knowing when someone would be coming. Finally got an appt, took the day off work & no service tech showed. When called to ask what was going on was told they ordered parts for my washer & will have to wait for them to come in. Ordered parts....no one even came to look at washer to see for sure what was needed! Still waiting for them to book an appt with me. Telephone service has been very rude. Cannot rate the service techs as I have yet to see one after two weeks of waiting. Almost could have bought a new washer by now with what I have spent on doing it outside of my home & the day off work waiting for a technician to show.
