I have to get a repair done to my fridge and was told by Transglobal that Sumo Appliance in Saskatoon would call me. Can’t find Sumo Appliance anywhere on the internet with a phone number so I can call them. Do not buy extended warranty from Home Depot because now all you get is the run around when you are trying to reach someone for warranty. Their warranty is now a big scam.

I will not recommend anyone to get repair through TransGlobal Service, There technician not qualified, their customer service sucks all the time ETA change since six months..., too much drama, worst company ever I went through, no organization, no system everyone says differently whenever I call, never trust them whatever they say it's better to buy new appliances then repair from this scam company or show to some other qualified real company instead..zero star0

There customers serve sucks they don’t care about you or your problems my 2 year old lg frig stop working plus freezer emailed them nothing back sat on phone for hour before answer to tell me ya we got your claim. Nothing more was said. 3 days later then was told part order no technician has even come to look at it. Said was rush order! Now 10 days later still nothing I’m here with no frig or freezer. So sent email saying need supervisor ASAP she did call and said oh yea sorry it be sorted out I keep you informed another lie sent email saying I wanted manager or was going to social media! Wow got call from service guy my parts were in be there next day! They don’t care about customer service at all! Worse company to deal with but the go with brick and Leon’s so won’t buy from either again.
I feel sorry for buying the warranty
I feel sorry for buying the warranty. It appears that layers of companies. The warranty was sold by the appliance dealer, the warranty was written by TransGlobal and the claims are handled by W3solutions. It took 12 days for the technician to repair my gas stove. He fixed the problem of one burner not working. And today I got an email from W3solution telling me there was no fault in the stove, They would normally bill me because there was no fault, but as a courtesy, they were waiving the charge. Please read the warranty carefully. I would not trust this company.

Warranty Scam
I wish I could rank this a zero. Four months and counting now for warranty repair on a new Bosch dishwasher. Shame on Canadian Appliance Source on selling a bogus warranty, shame on W3 the fake warranty company, and shame on Transglobal "service" for never showing up. Shame on Bosch for allowing it to happen. What a scam!
Offshore company with no service
This offshore company has the poorest customer service (if any) that I have ever dealt with. They did not resolve my complaint nor did they compensate me for food loses from their lack of action. I have , to that date of this review, have not been compensated for several hundreds of dollars of food loss on my fridge failure. They are non-existant in their customer service and are derelict in their coverage. Not a trustable company for ANY warranty concerns or claims.

Desmond the technician showed up at my house on time yesterday around 1:30pm to fix my dryer.He was very polite and neatly dressed. I liked the idea that he placed a cover over his shoes to walked in my house because I’m not comfortable with anyone walking in my house with their shoes. I liked that he knew what he was doing because he didn’t take very long fixing my dryer even though there was little room to work.When he was finished he explained what was wrong with my dryer, tidy up the best he could and left.
Bunch of unethical representatives
I have never seen a company with bunch of unprofessional staff, they are so rude on the phone and never listens to what you have to say but what they got to impose on you, if not that my warranty covers the repair of my microwave, honestly I will never pay my hard earn cash on such company or have anything to do with them. Very, very annoying set of people. Public please beware, looking for good worth for your money, look else where but not Trans Global Service.
Transglobal needs to go out of business
Transglobal needs to book a trans-global field trip to the Library to educate itself on customer service. The staff are clueless as to knowing, understanding and delivering the fundamentals of customer service. How can the owners/stakeholders of Transglobal not know this? They need to do a pretend to be a customer to see how inferior the service is. Right from booking service to having the service technician onsite (if they show) are clueless and unprofessional. And if you complain about a particular service technician, Transglobal sends the same incompetent person. I purchased the warranty when I bought the applicanece through Home Depot. Home Depot will not get my money again. I will go elsewhere and ensure that they are not in bed with Transglobal. A Horrible and uncooperative company. Save your money. Look elsewhere. And if you are buying a new appliance and adding extended warranty coverage, confirm that it is not Transglobal and seek address confirmation to cross-reference in the event they operate under a different name but still hold the same address. Take the extra step. I hope Home Depot does not renew its contract with Transglobal. I give Transglobal a complete fail.
No Liability for Damages Caused by Unskilled Technicians
Unskilled installation technicians, unacceptable follow-up timeframes, and no respect for consumers. Purchased a dishwasher and installation services from the parent company (Leon's Furniture). They automatically use technicians from their installation services group (Trans Global).
- Waited 2 weeks to call them and arrange my own install date when they were supposed to call me within 2-5 business days to arrange a time with me.
- Modified my work schedule several times for an unskilled installer to come on 3 separate days to install one dishwasher.
- Installer damaged the water hose connected to the main water line, flooded my floor, and spent 7 hours trying to repair it himself before telling me I needed to call a plumber so that we could have running water throughout the house again. The plumber was not happy with the damage that the installer created. He repaired the hose and the installer continued to hook up the dishwasher. I was told to pay for the plumber's services (after hours) and I would be reimbursed.
- I have not received any follow up after submitting the plumbing receipt for reimbursement and worse--the flooding caused by the installer created severe water damage to our basement ceiling and light fixtures.
Neither Leon's or Trans Global will take accountability for any of the damage created by the installer. Trans Global fully denied liability and Leon's just keeps giving us the same story about escalating our complaint. In actuality, these two companies are under the same umbrella corporation yet they have blamed each other for our damages. Super unprofessional and inconsiderate to consumers.
There are plenty of other reliable, considerate, and high quality furniture companies and installation services to go with. DO NOT choose Leon's Furniture who will automatically send someone from Trans Global.

Ma'ammers push for your credit card number at all costs
I called regarding assembling of a bed that has not arrived yet. The woman on the phone demanded I give her my credit card number! I just ignored that and asked how much it would be. It seemed reasonable so I told her the estimated date of delivery and wanted to know how soon after I could get it assembled. She again pushed for my credit card number. I ignored that again, and asked again which dates are available. She said she needs my credit card number and called me Ma'am. I declined since her only interest was getting my credit card number.
WILL NEVER USE AGAIN
My 3 year old, over the oven Frigidaire Gallery, microwave stopped working. I contacted Frigidaire and they supplied me with an authorized repair dealer; Trans Global Service.
I booked the service call on a Monday and paid $100. At no time did Trans Global indicated that they would be sub-contracting the job out to another company. If I knew this, I would never had done business with them. 2 people arrived on Wednesday from Appliance Solutions. NOT TRANS GLOBAL. After 30 minutes they gave me an estimate of $293.
The most common problem with our brand & model is a fuse or 1 of 3 switches. Multiple technicians on YouTube videos indicate this. A fuse is $8 and a switch is $29.
The technicians at my house said I needed all 3 switches, the fuse and also a door latch replaced. Parts were $139. But, LABOUR was $210, on top of the $100 I already paid for them to come to my house, they did not have any parts at all with them, not even a fuse. So that allows them to return and make another outlandish charge. In total this repair would have cost me $400. THE COST OF A NEW MICROWAVE. They took out 3 screws initially, they only put 2 back in. Shoddy workmanship. Obviously I did not continue with them, and I took the loss of my $100.
I disputed the initial $100 charge with Trans Global, but they would not cooperate or compromise and lower the initial fee. I was willing to assume 50%.
Trans Global TV ads show their own truck arriving to a service call, not a truck with Appliance Solutions, the ad is deceptive.
I will never, never use Trans Global again.

We had our fridge Ice maker repaired. It was done by John and for him I would truly give 5 stars. The reason of 4 above is only because when you call you wait for a really long time and it it is over half hour it disconnects automatically. Need to improve. Thanks John.

If i could give anything lower i would. I have placed service calls since August 2020 for a GE stove that's under guarantee. The oven stops working...they just kept closing the case. If i would pay for the service they would come next day but for guarantees forget it! Worse place, terrible customer service and zero follow up.
Dishwasher repair Enfield, NS
Doug from Trans Global came 2 weeks ago to diagnose the problem with our dishwasher. After his inspection he ordered all parts necessary for the repair. Advised that it would take approximately 2 weeks for parts to arrive. 2 weeks later we got the call to schedule the repair. Doug showed up on time, was very professional and personable as well. Conducted the repair and tested dishwasher to ensure everything was fixed. Great service and wouldn't hesitate to have Doug back if we need service again.
Useless repair and horrible customer service
After 5 weeks of waiting for a part, the service people finally came to do a repair on my washing machine. They were booked to come on Tuesday, finally showed up on Thursday(supposed to arrive between 12-4) at 6:00 they called to say they will be there in 30 minutes, they arrived at 7:30 and left my house after 3 hours, assuring me the washer was good as new. Go to to my first load of laundry and the washer stops at the spin cycle, precisely the original problem.
They were hired through Enercare who gave also not been helpful in facilitating this project. Still not resolved and have to wait til Monday for another attempt.
Customer service also gets 0 for their help
TRANSGLOBAL WILL NOT HONOUR THEIR WARRANTY
Had a Kenmore Elite fridge compressor failure made by LG at 2 years old confirmed by two repairmen. Transglobal replaced the compressor. Within warranty period, fridge broke again and Transglobal repairman came and looked at it completely, stated that compressor needed replacing and that he would do so. Did not hear from company for 2 weeks so I called and Transglobal changed their story and said that it was a blocked tube and could not be repaired. I asked to talk to the manager and receptionist gave me a lame excuse stating the system needed rebooting to do so. I said I would wait on the phone and she said she did not know when manager would be available. I gave two phone numbers and manager never called me. Strongly suspect company is lying. THIS IS NOT A HONOURABLE COMPANY, DO NOT TRUST THEM.
