Not working fridge

The service rendered to me for my fridge was great. I have no regret so far. Mr. Deron was early, polite and he did a wonderful job.

They failed to repair my fridge…

They failed to repair my fridge properly, which caused all kinds of damage with water leaking from under the floors into the basement my whole kitchen area. My hardwood is all raised now and they’re not taking any accountability. They actually sent the same repair guy out to inspect his work, who does that? And warned me my repair service person that if I said anything, he deny everything and that he didn’t cause any problems, even though clearly he did.

Review of appliance repair.

Initially I had a very high opinion of this store and their business practices. The salesman, Farhan, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help answer questions. We built a home less than 1.5 years ago and purchased 8 appliances from him. He even convinced us to get extended three year warranties on them, and we NEVER buy warranties. These however, were different. He told us that if we didn't use them by the end of the time frame we could request our money back and would get it, so why not? The delivery process went off without a hitch and everything was smooth. If I wrote my review back then I would have given them 5 stars, like many people here who have just received their appliances.

Fast forward a year and our kitchen fridge started making these awful squeaking sounds when opened and closed. It was so loud it woke my husband up every morning. I reached out to Farhan via email and he told me how to file a claim online. I did so, and received an email from TransGlobal, who fulfills their repairs. The email did not provide options for days or times to come, it specified what day they would be coming and gave an eight or nine hour timeframe to be available.

The repair guy came out and said it was an issue with the bottom hinge. Something inside was rubbing in a way it shouldn't. He said he would rebook another visit to replace the hinge. Then I got another email telling me what day he would return. He came back, replaced the part, and the problem went away, good as new. Then 1 - 2 months later I noticed the squeaking starting again. I filed another claim and the same guy came out. He said he could replace the part again, but that may not be the best long term solution but rather the whole door may need to be replaced. He said it wasn't his decision but he knows the door are really expensive so they may not want to go that route. I heard back a couple weeks later that the repair company decided they were not going to proceed with any repair because we hired our own contractor to install the appliances, not CAS's installers.

I called Farhan to tell him what had happened and he said that CAS doesn't even have their own installers so that didn't make sense. He said he would contact head office to tell them about this issue and get back to me with a resolution. A month went by and I did not get a call back. I emailed him to request an update on the situation, and did not hear back. I gave it another month or so then emailed him again requesting either an update or the contact information for someone higher up who could assist. I never heard back.

I called into the post delivery line and spoke with someone who gave me an email contact. I reached out to them and explained what happened. Next thing I know I have another email from TransGlobal saying they will come out for the repair, again. This was a different repair guy who also said the door likely needs to be replaced, but he thinks they're expensive and might not want to go that route. He also said he has seen this issue before on this fridge.

Then I get an email saying that they will not proceed with the repair because it falls outside their warranty criteria. So we are left high and dry. If it's not something covered by the warranty, why did anyone else return for the repair after the first visit? They're just trying to get out of paying for it because they feel it's too expensive.

To this day, after several emails, Farhan has ghosted us. I would not recommend this company for appliances, and certainly don't bother buying any extended warranties expecting them to make good on them. Very poor customer service and bad business practices. If you look up TransGlobal Service on The Better Business Bureau, you will see their rating is an F for failure to respond to complaints and failure to resolve underlying causes of a pattern of complaints. CAS knows this, but I'm sure this company is the cheapest repair service they could find, so they continue to use them.

Transglobal always pulls through

I have had numerous service calls over the years with Transglobal for my fridge, stove and washing machine through Enercare's whole home protection plan.
They have always been courteous and reliably repaired my appliances. Last visit with Patrick was great. Thanks Transglobal for your years of service.

First time my stove had a problem it…

First time my stove had a problem it took 6 weeks to sort it out this second time it has so far taken 5 weeks and still no sign of them coming to fix it even though the part required has been sitting in there premises for 2 weeks. Why it takes them 2 to 3 weeks to get parts when you can go down the road and gat them immediately. Will never get a warrantee with this company again.

Our Samsung ice maker stopped working

Our Samsung ice maker stopped working. Our service tech, Chito was extremely polite, explained the issues that may cause the ice maker to be inoperable. Chito came with a new replacement part and explained the installation process and how long it was going to take. After the installation Chito advised me that he was going to seal the unit with silicon to ensure that warmer air from the fridge would not penetrate into the ice box causing an over freeze and massive build up up ice around the ice box and within the walls of the ice maker. After Chito finished he cleaned the fridge and any water drops that were on the floor. Chito was professional, polite and immaculately tidy. After reading many of the reviews, I guess I was one of the lucky customers.

Hello I had the pleasure of receiving a delivery and set up from Parth Patel on October 1st for my dishwasher. I have never met a more polite and professional individual with any of my past service deliveries set up or repairs. He was on time extremely polite and beyond professional. He did a perfect job and again made my delivery installation and appliance removal perfect. I hope he is recognized for this level of service and hope promoted within this company. You ar very lucky to employ such a person, and i wish Parth continued success in everything he does. Sincerely Teresa

Insurance without my consent

Transglobal insurance had my information without my consent and charged me 650 $ with working the brick. I assigned a ticket with customer service it has been 3 weeks , Noone called me either from the brick or the customer care services.

don't waste your time or throw your money away

saying its a nightmare is an understatement. this is a joke of a company. they are unable to do basic repairs, one guy was punching the selection panel of my washing machine with a closed fist. my new washer is compltley broken from their so called repairs.
I called GE general electric regarding this, no better.
do not buy GE appliances this is their choice of repair people or use Trans Global for anything. The tech who replaced the puncher said he doesn't know how to fix GE washers, and after his tickering with it it is a piece of junk, and the company supports incompitance.

LOL omg just reading some of the reviews so we've been without a fridge for 3 weeks now the technician came by almost 2 weeks ago and told us it's the compressor and they don't fix the compressor and that they will be replacing the fridge (2 years old) and he went on to say DO NOT TRY TO CONTACT THEM BE FOR TWO WEEKS HAVE PASSED BEACUSE THAT WILL MAKE THINGS WORSE THEY CONSIDER THAT ARASSEMENT does the consumer have any rights in this province this would not happen in another province

Un service pourri

Un service pourri. Je me suis fait prendre en tout plus de 300$ en assurance pour un Divan de 3900$. Si je n'aurai pas vu ça sur ma facture, ils m'aurait chargé +- 1440$ pour 2 ans. Des crosseurs !!!!!! Ils ne veulent en aucun cas me rembourser mon argent et le service à la clientèle de flexiti avec qui ils sont affiliés, ma confirmé que tout me serait rembourser.

Poor customer service the manager…

Poor customer service the manager doesn’t show any respect or empathy, lacks empathy all around the whole team doesn’t want to help anybody when they ask for help. They’re exclusion causes or policies make absolutely no sense and they don’t want to help anybody and they want to rip everybody off. It’s not a company you wanna deal with or associate business with they’re not easy to do business with.

Horrible Experience: Avoid This Company!

Dealing with this company was a nightmare. Here's what happened:

First Visit: Technician couldn't fix my refrigerator and had to order a part.
Second Visit: Brought the wrong part.
Third Visit: Wrong part again!
Their online booking system is a mess, and I had to wait weeks for appointments. Calling customer service was useless—no clear answers, and I could never talk to a supervisor.

They wasted my time and money, leaving me without a working refrigerator. Avoid this company at all
