The dealer I interacted with (sadly didn't get his name) was a lovely man and sold me a very nice car, but 3 days later (after the weekend and a couple of hours of driving) when I reported a mechanical fault and requested to return the vehicle for a refund the company implied I was lying, got childishly defensive, then pushy and condescending, and finally mildly threatening, and point blank refused to allow me my statutory right to reject faulty goods. I dealt with a sensationally vile piece of work over email, who didn't give his/her name so sadly I am unable to name this person, but I will say the emails were unprofessional, the spelling was occassionally bad, and geographical knowledge was poor, and they seemed to believe they were very important and powerful, but mercifully no one is exempt from the law.

went above and beyond to get the car/spec that I wanted, very easy to deal with, very helpful. He refused to give up and was able eventually to source my vehicle. If you need to get a new car I would say Trade Price Autos is the place to go. Many thanks for your sterling effort.

Well this was the first time ever that ive purchased a car without physiclly seeing or driving the car.Sonia and John was very helpful in every aspect of purchasing the car taking my part exchange and delivering my new car .The car arrived in stunning condition with the 82 point checks carried out and everything that needed doing was done .Once again a massive thanks to Sonia and John for all there help i couldnt of asked for anything more.

Bought a Fiat 595 Abarth from here. 1/5/23.
Few weeks later found out by accident that it had previously been a stolen/recovered car and was sold in a salvage auction. TradePriceCars forgot to mention this to me and the time of purchasing it from them! If they had told me this there is no way I would have bought this car from them with salvage history like that. I asked them to take the car back and they said there is nothing wrong with it! Only the fact I have had 3 major car buying companies say to me that they will not buy the car! So the car that TradePriceCars sold me is now unsellable. As a professional car dealer that should have done their in-depth checks before selling it to me! So unfair.

Dealt mainly with Peter, who helped me in my first experience with Financing. Gave me the ins and outs, no waffle just told me as it was. As it was my first time financing, I was a bit weary as to whether I was eligible, or if it was right for me. Ended up guiding me through the process and made me feel comfortable. Explained what was good and bad about my credit situation, and gave me a quote - which when accepted come back the exact same. Helped me find a car, a 2018 Golf, which was in great condition, drove well also. From there I dealt with Keith and Ian upon viewing the car, they were both very helpful and was not pushy, and made me say it was right for me before proceeding. Came and viewed car one last time, signed contracts, and they even gave me 6 month warranty and helped me set up my GAP insurance despite me not having a strong enough deposit. So far so good, thanks for everything!

Bought a Mercedes on the 15th march
They say they do a service before selling any vehicle
After buying this car for £18000 the oil was showing low the neon light in the cockpit passenger side isn’t working
Phone to get these defects fixed only to be given the brush off and told they will not be fixing these problems that were there when I bought the car
My advice to anyone buying from this company is check everything before you buy as once they have got your money

I bought a car from here, and the whole team at Trade Price Cars couldn’t have been more helpful. The team knew who I was when I called, ensured they promptly returned all my calls and were able to answer all my questions and concerns. I was dealing with Pete who was so kind and not pushy in the slightest – unlike a lot of car salesmen out there.

I live in Portsmouth which is 130 miles away from Wickford, but I wouldn’t think twice about travelling and buying all my cars from here in the future.

I looked at Autotrader and shortlisted a few cars, after looking at the reviews, I narrowed it down to Tradepricecars and another dealer due to their 5star Rep.
I ended up paying £100 deposit and having Tradeprice cars reserve the BMW for me.
I visited, and did my own research as worked for BMWs in Bates Vauxhall as an apprentice in 2001, so just wanted to have a look without all the pushy sales tactics. That was exactly how Keith treated me, with respect, gave me the keys and let me look around, under and over the car before test driving it. He was not Technically minded, but it was never too much effort for Keith to grab his Tech guy.
Brought the car and all the GARDx (works perfect), the GAP and RAC cover and had the car delivered 1 week later.

There were a few issues that could have been resolved at the dealership, such as too much Oil on delivery (which could not be checked when delivered, as the BMW needs 30mins to warm up as it was an electric oil check rather than the good old Dipstick.

Had a few other issues on delivery, but Dan Kirby their CEO, was quick to resolve and left with a great feeling of confidence and would recommend them for the future.

I saw the car advertised on eBay and gumtree, it looked good and was what I was looking for. I contacted the company. Nick was very helpful prior to me viewing the car. On a walk round description he did miss a couple of dents and other damage. The car is 10 years old, so I would expect a few "battle scars"! I travelled from Scotland, so needed an honest overview before making the trip.
The sale went smoothly and the car does everything it should. I drove it 350 miles home without any issues, so I'm pleased with the purchase.

We had made an appointment to go and view a car on the Saturday, they had called and confirmed the date and time of our appointment. We had driven over 2 hours to arrive to find out that the car had sold that morning, I think it is appalling that they hadn’t even bothered to contact me or my partner to let us know that the car we were coming to view was no longer available worse then that they offered us no apology. Absolutely shocking customer service the man we spoke to didn’t even seem the slightest bit sorry that we had just completely wasted our time and fuel. I feel we weren’t taken seriously due to our age and if anything the sales man was having more of a laugh and a joke about the matter. If you are set for disappointment then it’s the perfect car dealership for you.

Recently purchased my car from TradePriceCars and so pleased I did. My first enquiry via the website was answered almost immediately with a phone call from Pete, who was super friendly, helpful and talked me through the process.
The car was immaculate, inside and out with fresh alloys and a brand new car feel.

I got my first ever car from trade price car. I have always dreamt of having my own car since I was a child. Immediately I passed my Uk driving test, I quickly ran to trade price car as I have heard so much of how supportive and professional they are towards both current and new drivers like myself and indeed I met my full expectations as the experience was really easy to achieve.
