As a spectator charged £15 per person! We watched my son last year at a similar event at Heaton park, no charge for spectators. Not sure what the £15 was for, no benches, Limited toilets which were po... Se mer

What a pile of money grabbing theives
What a pile of money grabbing theives! Taking people's money then refusing a refund when it's quite within their rights to have one upto 14 days after buying the ticket or if the event is cancelled by Tough Mudder! just shocking. And then to take the mick more they use unpaid volunteers as first aiders! And like in this case there were none at all! They fleece more than enough money out of people to pay for staff, takes the absolute p**s! They don't even provide enough water stations at most of the events. Water isn't expensive and they can't even be bothered to provide enough of that. Giving finishers a cheap headband and cheap medal is hardly worth the extortionate amount of money that each participant pays to do your child style mud run with half broken unsafe obstacles. The waiting time on some of the obstacles is ridiculous aswell as the amount of time people are waiting around before the event has even started.
You don't give any of the money taken or stolen from people to donate to charity! It all lines the pockets of the rich because that's all Tough Mudder care about, the money! Not people's safety, fun or enjoyment. Along as they keep getting richer that's all they care about. If someone gets injured or dies it's no skin off their noses because of the death waiver they make people sign before participating. Well you lot got sued by the family of the poor guy that died at one of your badly organised events due to lack of first aid volunteers yet again so you aren't that untouchable. You lot have blood on your hands. Trouble is you've fleeced that many people you've got plenty of spare cash to throw around to cover the cost.
Paris event: scam !! no refund
I registered for the Paris event, which they cancelled and offered a refund. I filled in the form to get the refund and never got it. I wrote numerous emails, and I’m still not getting my refund for an event they cancelled. They are a scam. I’m going to have to start a legal procedure against them.
I've been a Mudder for years, but that's messed up
I've been a Mudder for years, but that was messed up. I always thought the events were fun, if not a little overpriced for what you're getting - a run in the dirt with some challenging obstacles. The events have always been crowded, but that was okay because the staff preaches unity, comradery, team work, and integrity. All good things.
I bought my tickets for 2025 early and started preparing, including gathering a team, who also purchased tickets. Five months later, Tough Mudder sends an email saying they're changing the event date. Okay, I say to myself. I can still make this work. It's not in their terms of service to do so (excluding event beyond their control), but whatever. A couple weeks later, another email. Event cancelled. No apology. No explanation. They throw out some BS "flex" tickets and say hit up another race three states away. No, thank you, give me a refund. It's not in you're terms of service to burn people like that, I say. They tell me to get lost and have stopped responding to my emails.
It gets better. While I'm waiting, hoping for a positive response from this company that touts moral integrity like a Southern Baptist preacher, I keep getting force fed marketing emails. Join us! It's life changing! Be part of the family! Mudder Nation! Woohoo! It makes me sick.
So much for integrity. Find another event. I've been to others that are better and are free. Whatever you do, don't trust these people to keep their word. They have none of the integrity they tell others to embrace. I hope they go under. I hope they get sued. Hiring a lawyer isn't worth the $125 I spent on the ticket (which I'm sure they're banking on), but maybe it would be to force these degenerates to listen.
Malpas event - car park had more mud than the event
parking was a farce- car park organisation was non existent - people missing the event as cars got bogged down for hours on end — if you cant sort the logistics because of the weather then cancel the event and refund.
Event cancelled and no/slow customer service
The event was cancelled and it has taken over 3 months to process the refunds/get us booked on to another event.
Very misleading company
Very misleading company, 1 week they're advertising nearly sold out the next week they're selling tickets half price unfortunate for you if you purchased at the higher price, loads of additional payments and what makes it even more unpalatable is most people "working" are volunteers, seems to me that you would be better going for a run with some mates and through yourselves in a river then with all the money you will have saved go out for a meal keep the money in the local economy instead of enabling the greed of a few please don't waste your money Tough mudder more like Money grabber
Was ok but not worth the money
Was ok but not worth the money if you pay full. The marketing is great and the quality of the gear at the end is really good. I did the 10 mile and I’d say only a handful are actually fairly difficult and a test of strength etc. the day we completed it was really muddy and you do find you just run a lot, eventually come to an obstacle and it was done super quick so your back to running again! They need more hydration stations and a better selection than just cheap Aldi energy shots. The end is the best bit when you actually hit the bigger more intense obstacles. Overall it’s worth about £50/60 max and it is a good laugh with a group.
Ciao Tough Mudder
very disappointing
I have recently completed my second Tough Mudder challenge, and I must express my profound disappointment with this year's event. The organizers promoted it as being held at a new venue in Birmingham; however, the actual location was Ragley Hall in Alcester. The organization of the event was notably inadequate, suggesting a lack of preparation for the participants, as the check-in process was excessively prolonged. Additionally, there were no staff members present at the obstacles, with the explanation that the volunteers had canceled at the last minute. The obstacles themselves were underwhelming and did not meet expectations. Furthermore, we paid £25.99 for photographs, yet encountered only three photographers throughout the event. The following day, I received a link to download 80 photos of my participation, but to my surprise, only eight photos were available, with multiple uploads of the same shot appearing in the collection.
In summary, the event was a disappointment and not worth the cost. It is regrettable, but it is now necessary to explore alternative challenges, as Tough Mudder is declining.
Don't waste your money
I can't believe I paid as much as I did to do the 15k, only to discover that there were only 5 extra obstacles and the rest was all just tedious running to fill out the miles. The obstacles were also not particularly challenging or fun. Not sure why it's called Tough Mudder when there was so little mud! Also the Artic Enema stank of faeces. I really hope no one gets ill from whatever was causing it. And 3 water stations for an event that runs over the summer is just nuts. I'm so grateful that the weather wasn't as hot as it has been because I think a lot of people would have been taken down by dehydration.
Overall, I won't be booking on again sadly. I've heard that there are better run events elsewhere so I'll be looking in to those.
Not that this company seems to care about any of this, seeing as they don't reply to anything.

Very very expensive for an event run by volunteers. They Charge each person attending a parking fee whether you drive or not. They charge each person a bag drop fee whether you have a bag of not, and then they have the balls to charge for bad photos on top of everything else. $180 + per ticket . Very disappointing .
I took part in my first corporate Tough…
I took part in my first corporate Tough Mudder event at Belvoir Castle this year, the entire event was extremely well run from the booking process to crossing the finish line.
I cannot wait to take part in another event soon.
France
France
I bought a ticket for the race in Paris in november 2024 but changed my mind. According to the european Law, a person can ask for a refund during 14 days after buying something online.
The French team never answered me despite my numerous emails. I am now starting a legal procedure to get my refund.
Will never ever support this company again
Will never ever support this company every again.
Have been loyal fans for quite a few years and taken part in their Tough Mudder London South event every single year, recruiting more friends each time and getting a big group of us going and always posting on social media. Due to an injury I sustained I provided a doctors letter to them and asked if I could delay to the next year. I was told I would have to pay an admin fee PLUS the difference in price of the next event, TWICE OVER because I had also purchased my friends entry meaning I'd be spending almost another £100 just to defer it!! Absolutely no customer service to loyal customers so I told them I would not be supporting them ever again. I couldn't attend the event so lost my money, twice, as my friend obviously didn't want to take part alone.
Aside from this, the last event I did do was pretty poor. Massive queues for the obstacles, waiting in the freezing cold shivering taking turns one by one which did ruin the enjoyment of it.
Really helpful team
Really helpful team
Joyce Rosal and Ed Thompson have both been really helpful arranging our Tough Mudder experience.
Great Speedy Service
Great Speedy Service, Ed Thompson is super efficient and makes group bookings super easy! Thanks Ed we cant wait for our next Tough Mudder already!
Tough Mudder is Fantastic!
Tough Mudder is a fantastic event and the staff do a wonderful job at making the day feel special. Ed and David do a great job at looking after our team and ensuring the event runs smoothly and everyone enjoys themselves. Joyce is also fantatic at sorting out the administrative side of our team and has been a last minute "life saver" on many occasions.
Superb event
Superb event! I’m on my fourth one and I really enjoy them they regularly alter the course and obstacle so there’s variations. They’ve improved the showers too and included male and female changing.
My contact, Ed in corporate booking, is great and always really helpful.
I can highly recommend it.
