TirePlus Fraudulent Repairs
Took our Audi A4 to the Berwyn, PA location in 2024 for new breaks and annual inspection. TiresPlus claim to have replaced both pads and rotors front and back. Less than a year later the Audi needs new breaks (pads & rotors), TirePlus did not perform the work they charged us for. The parts on the car were worn, old, and rusty; not brand new with less than a year of wear. The location refused to help claiming no manager on site. I had to file a complaint with the Corporate Office. I am still waiting to hear back, next step is disputing the charges with our credit card company.
The 4 wheel brake inspection that wasn't.
I went in for a brake inspection today. It was very hot so they told me they could do the inspection but couldn't do any work today because it was too hot and a couple guys weren't feeling too well because of the heat. I thought well maybe the inspection wouldn't be very good either because of the heat. BINGO! I sat outside under the shade of a tree and watched my car. They pulled the rear passenger side tire off my car. The tech. was hitting my brake drum with a sledge hammer to free it up to pull off the outside to actually see the brake shoes and hardware. I never saw him pull the drum cover off and on the driver side they never even removed the rim and tire. I know it was hot but if you don't have the energy to do the inspection just say so rather than fraudulently say you did.
I’m a 35-year-old veteran and a…
I’m a 35-year-old veteran and a long-time car enthusiast who understands proper shop procedures and accountability. I recently visited this location to have a tire sensor installed — a basic job that ended with operator error and a damaged high-performance tire (Pirelli P-Zero with less than 3,500 miles on it).
During service, the technician clearly misused the tire machine by placing the mounting spoon on the sidewall rather than the bead — resulting in a punctured sidewall. This is not a “wear and tear” issue. It’s 100% a shop-induced failure. I witnessed the reaction of the employee and the desk clerk when they saw the damage: head in hands, followed by a quiet phone call — a clear admission that something went wrong.
Instead of taking responsibility, the front clerk refused to provide the manager’s contact info, forcing me to go through him like a gatekeeper. When I finally spoke to the store manager, he tried to deflect blame by claiming the tread depth was too low — despite the tire being practically new. As anyone familiar with P-Zeros knows, these tires come with a shallower tread by design due to their compound and performance category.
I requested only what was fair: a replacement of the exact same tire, new or used, with matching tread depth. I even declined asking for anything beyond that. The manager still insisted on “splitting the cost,” which I refused — as I should not be penalized for their technician’s mistake.
When I asked for their insurance information — as allowed under Florida consumer law — I was denied that too. For a new shop location trying to build trust in the community, this is unacceptable. It should not take “district manager approval” to resolve a $400 mistake when the evidence and responsibility are clear-cut.
I will update this review if the situation is resolved with professionalism and a proper apology, but for now, I strongly urge any discerning customer — especially those with performance vehicles — to take their business elsewhere.
Simply horrible experience
I scheduled an appointment at 1:00 PM for a simple tire rotation and balance. I left the vehicle with the business and didn't hear from them for two (2) plus hours. I called, as this service shouldn't take 40 minutes on a bad day, but they "we're just about to move my truck to a bay and begin work. I'll call you when I'm done." I patiently waited 40 more minutes and simply retrieved my truck from the business. The attendant stated they only had two people working. Maybe, just maybe, they shouldn't take appointments that have no intention to keep unless nothing else arrives that makes more money. I'm done with this business as well....
If I could give a 0 I sure would
If I could give a 0 I sure would! Had a 12.30 appointment today to have my front winter tires taken off and have my summers mounted. Now keep in mind I bought all 4 summer tires and the front set of bridgestone winter tires from them. When bought they sold me an extra warranty to where I was supposed to have 0 charge when getting them rotated back and forth as the seasons change but they had a new manager named Mike who I had never seen before I had always had good luck with Steven Leazenby the old manager but this Mike proceeded to tell me it would be 69.00 for this of which I had a warranty they charged me for. STAY AWAY FROM TIRES PLUS IN COUNCIL BLUFFS,IOWA
Tires Plus = plus more money!
Tires Plus = plus more money!
Warning! They will just include the Road Hazard Warranty without your consent, will bait and switch you on the price and the "out the door" price, isn't.
Needed some economical tires for my daughter's car. Purchased several sets of tires (at least 7 sets) from this store for over a decade (ranging from their cheapest to their most expensive).
Always had excellent service until I came across Nate. (Apparently under new management, and it shows).
Nate was dishonest from the moment I walked in. I reserved a set of tires online and Nate said he couldn't get those tires, but magically had the more expensive set in stock. He claimed the nearest set of the less expensive tire was "miles away" and he couldn't get them.
He lied! (I called two nearby stores after and they said they could get them same day, "no problem").
Then he said it needed an alignment, but never provided any print out. Based on the lies and shady things they did, I have my doubts it was necessary.
Then Nate included the optional road hazard warranty without asking me if I wanted it. Never went over the bill or the services. Was going to email me a bill, but I wanted it printed. That's when I discovered that I was being overcharged.
The "out the door price" on the website didn't match what I was being charged, even minus the alignment and warranty I didn't ask for.
Overcharged me nearly $200. The problem is I trusted the business. Never again. I will never be back. Years of good excellent service ruined by one greedy jerk and a customer service that doesn't care.
Thanks a lot (sarcasm), Nate. They not only lost me as a customer, but my daughter and everyone I know too.
FYI...
Many quality brands (Hankook, Continental and Michelin) offer Road Hazard Warranty as part of their manufacturers warranty. No need to purchase separately.
Discount Tire honors their online price, and tire selection, you can even pay online so you know exactly what it will be and get the tires you ordered.
Cosco offers free road hazard warranty for 5 years. You can get a Cosco membership for less money than what Tires Plus charge for the warranty alone.
Terrible service, bait and switch pricing, charges you for things you didn't ask for or authorize.
🚫 Deceptive & Unethical – Know Your Rights Under Florida Law 🚫
I brought my vehicle to Tires Plus in Lake Mary and was charged nearly $2,600 for a list of repairs. I later learned from a second certified mechanic; I should have been charged approximately $1000. The mechanic also told me an oil cap was nearly falling off, he said this could have been dangerous; I had been driving like this for weeks. In addition, I was told I needed additional repairs, within “a few months”, repairs totaling $1,600. Believing my car needed repairs, I was worried to drive my car,and was shocked to find that none of the repairs listed on the $1600 estimate, were not needed at all. In fact, the real issue was resolved for $325 — and included none of what Tires Plus claimed. This is not just bad service — it's a textbook case of unfair and deceptive trade practices under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA).
A regional manager later admitted photos were taken of the alleged damage — yet those were never provided. I was misled, overcharged, and nearly pressured into unnecessary service — all while recovering from major surgery. Their conduct was a violation of deceptive business practices prohibited under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), found in Florida Statutes § 501.201–213.
I will be taking further action and urge others to get a second opinion and research your rights before agreeing to any service.
Tires Plus Complete Crooks!
I would avoid EVER using Tires Plus they are completely incompetent crooked low character organization. I took my vehicle in for an oil change and the lazy, incompetent, crooked people there damaged my engine. It’s not an opinion-based review, this is factual. I even contacted them with obvious proof, and I never heard a word back. Its been over a week and I even contacted the corporate office, I contacted Bridgestone, because they own the crooks, and no matter how many messages I leave or emails I send, the crooks never respond. I would avoid this business at all costs!

They claim they are willing to fix flat…
They claim they are willing to fix flat tires. I don't think so. I had a flat. A nail in the middle of the tire tread. They said they couldn't fix it because my tire had dry rot. Although they claimed they could plug the hole, they said It would no longer seal around the rim because I drove it while flat. Not true. I took it home, filled the hole with a plug and it held air just fine. No leaks around the rim. They wanted to upsell me to a new tire and/or a whole new set of tires. I just don't believe they want to fix flats because there's no money in it for them. I'm not saying all Tires Plus' are bad but when you have nearly 75% 1-star reviews, that tells you something.
I brought my car in for an alignment
I brought my car in for an alarming. And they always charge me over nine hundred dollars for ball joints on bith sides, which were not required. Avoid this place as they're only looking to upcharge you and raise their commissions.

Perry Georgia
Hello, I went to Tires Plus in Perry, GA, for a tire alignment and two new tires. After leaving, I noticed my tires weren’t balanced, and my steering wheel was shaking uncontrollably. I called the location and returned the next day, only to be told that a new mechanic had failed to properly balance the wheels and complete the alignment. On top of that, they never performed the tire rotation. When I contacted customer service, the experience was just as frustrating. I will never have my vehicle serviced there again.
Tires Plus - Delray Beach
Was a little concerned reading all the bad reviews but just had four tires put on a MB SUV at Tires Plus on Congress Ave in Delray Beach. Jeff and Stephan could not have been more accommodating to deal with. Got there at opening and was out in 90 minutes. Prices were great. Based on comments at the many locations, it seems Tires vs. other more mechanical services are totally different. Maybe that’s why they are called TIRES Plus and not BRAKES Plus. Just sayin..
$4,300 in damage after brake work
TLDR highlights:
1) Had to bring my truck back twice within a week after they replaced my brakes because the brand-new brakes were squealing.
2) A few weeks later my parking brake assembly came apart while driving causing over $4,300 in damage. The only people that touched my brakes were Tires Plus employees.
3) Tires Plus/Bridgestone refused to fully reimburse me for the damage.
In May 2024, I had the brakes replaced on my Ford F-150 at the Annandale, VA Tires Plus store. I had to bring it back in twice more within a week for further work because the brand-new brakes were squealing. A few weeks later the parking brake assembly on my rear passenger side wheel came apart while I was driving. Not only was this dangerous, it caused a significant amount of damage. I took my truck to a Ford dealership and they had to do $4,323 worth of work to repair the damage. Because no one else touched my brakes, the work the Tires Plus store did was likely the cause of the issue. As soon as I got home from bringing my truck to the Ford dealership and before they had even looked at it, I called the Tires Plus store to let them know what happened and that I would be filing a claim. The manager told me to let him know how much it cost and he would then pass it along through the proper channels. Once the damage was repaired a few days later, I called the store to let the manager know how much it cost me and the manager then filed a claim through the corporate channels. A few days later, I was contacted by a claims rep but he said because they did not have a 3rd party inspect the damage they would not pay out the full claim. This was the first I heard about the requirement to have a 3rd party look at the damage in order to file a claim. The manager didn’t mention it when I called (before any work was done at the Ford dealership), nothing I signed said anything about it, and I could not find anything on your website that said a 3rd party was a requirement. I would argue the Ford dealership could have been used as a 3rd party expert. Furthermore, I still have all of the damaged parts and offered to have a 3rd party come look at them. None of this sufficed for the claims rep and therefore my claim was not offered to be fully reimbursed.
Being out over $4,000 and the whole ordeal in general is quite frustrating. However, being steamrolled by the claims office and not having them actually consider the claim fairly is the worst part. If they would have actually talked to the Ford dealership (the claims rep says he did but I asked around at the dealership afterward and no one said they had spoken to him) or actually brought in a 3rd party to look at the parts I have and the third party then said it was not the fault of Tires Plus, I would at least feel like Tires Plus/Bridgestone treated me fairly. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I would highly recommend avoiding Tires Plus/Bridgestone at all costs.
Ordered Yokohama and they put on Firestone.
I had a nail in my tire and called and asked for a Yokohama replacement tire for my 2022 Subaru Outback. Dropped off car and later went to pick up car only to find they put a Firestone tire on my car. They did have the Yokohama tire, but wanted $ 55.- more than the Firestone. The local Tire Shop store that is a dealer did not have this markup. Decided to keep the Firestone, but not going to this store again.

The worst place to take your car to be fixed. I took my car at their Pembroke pine location ( PEMBROKE PINES - 15907 PINES BLVD, PEMBROKE PINES, FL. 33027-1201 ) and the car came worst than I brought it and when I complained about in the same day, they wanted to charge me more for their mistake or bad service.
The service help at 7815 State Ave., Kansas City, KS. we're so kind and helpful in replacing a tire blowout; on the phone and in person!!!!
The guys at Tires Plus we're helpful on the phone to make sure they had the right tire in stock after a tire blowout to meeting them in person. Very kind. The work was done quickly!!! Their service was exceptional.
Tiresplus ia a joke
Tiresplus ia a joke! I took my car for brake service and had to return 4 times without having all the issues solved. After writing a review on Google, customer service reached out and it follows the pattern of extremely poor service. My case was supposedly escalated and the regional manager was going to contact me in 2 days… guess what? That never happened.
Stay away from this business!

I just spent 11 hours over two days at this store not due to any fault of the current employees. I found the current temporary manager, Nelly, was extremely professional. Whether he was speaking on the phone or working directly with customers, he was courtesy and always had a smile on his face. I wished my manager at Tires Plus in Indy had these qualities. He and his team member Mike, were outstanding. Hats off to the both of them! Jim L. Indy
