I got the membership for 5 months, however it’s not worth it.
1. The payment methods are not convenient, you can’t pay all at once.
2. They charged me $327.00 for shipping only, and then I paid an extra $50 to DHL for customs and some fees. On the pay slip from DHL showed only $167.26 for shipping cost.
Overall they are very expensive and will definitely look for another company.

I have been dealing with an unresolved issue with Tiptrans since May 2025, and their handling of this matter has been misleading, evasive, and ultimately unacceptable.
I paid USD $76.49 to ship a package of clothing from Hong Kong to the United States. The package was lost in transit. After months of delays and inconsistent responses from Tiptrans, I contacted Hongkong Post directly. Hongkong Post formally investigated, accepted liability, and confirmed in writing that they issued full compensation totaling HKD 866.92 (≈ USD $111) to Tiptrans as the sender, broken down as:
HKD 501.92 – compensation for the lost contents
HKD 365.00 – postage reimbursement
Hongkong Post explicitly confirmed that the cheque was sent to Tiptrans and that I should contact Tiptrans to receive the funds.
Tiptrans only refunded USD $76.49, which merely corresponds to the shipping amount I originally paid, and has withheld the remaining HKD 365 (≈ USD $35–36). When questioned, Tiptrans claimed it is their “company policy” to retain reimbursement that does not come from their own insurance.
This explanation is false and misleading, and their own published policy proves it.
Why Tiptrans’ insurance argument is irrelevant (and misleading):
Tiptrans’ insurance policy states that when a package is lost during transport, Tiptrans will open a claim with the carrier and act as an intermediary. That is exactly what happened here. The carrier (Hongkong Post) accepted liability and paid compensation.
Nowhere in Tiptrans’ policy does it state that Tiptrans may retain or absorb compensation issued by a third-party carrier. The policy governs what Tiptrans pays out of its own funds when insurance is purchased — it does not give Tiptrans ownership over carrier-issued reimbursements that are intended for the customer.
In plain terms:
Tiptrans did not pay this compensation
Tiptrans did not insure this shipment
Tiptrans did not suffer the loss
Tiptrans is merely an intermediary holding funds that belong to the customer
Passing along only part of a carrier reimbursement while keeping the rest is not a “refund” — it is withholding third-party funds.
Once I raised this discrepancy and requested a supervisor, Tiptrans stopped responding entirely. The only reason they are now responding publicly is because of this review.
This issue has:
Been ongoing since May 2025
Required me to personally coordinate with Hongkong Post due to Tiptrans’ delays
Resulted in partial reimbursement only
Ended with Tiptrans refusing to release funds that were never theirs to keep
I am simply asking for the full amount Hongkong Post issued for my lost shipment. Tiptrans’ continued attempt to reframe this as an “insurance issue” does not align with their own policy or the documented facts.
I strongly caution others to be aware of how Tiptrans handles carrier reimbursements when shipments are lost.
I was a bit sceptical about having a virtual address in another country but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with how easy and smooth Tiptrans makes it. After some initial communication with their support (which was very prompt), I decided to sign up. By now, I have used it for three different packages from different sellers, two of which I had consolidated into one to be sent to my home address in the Czech Republic. The whole process—from receiving the packages, through consolidation and submission of the Customs Declaration, all the way to payment and sending them—was amazingly easy and straightforward. I couldn't be happier and I definitely recommend this to everybody who wants to shop online in the UK and either save on shipping or buy things from sellers who do not offer shipping to the EU!

I had a package forwarded to my TipTrans account which arrived 10/9 and I re-upped my account and paid for all shipping services on 10/10.
Around a week later when my package still had not shipped I contacted them through customer service. I was told they had some major falling out with UPS and were working to resolve it and it shouldn't be long.
I was told around a week later that TipTrans was working out a deal with FedEx and they should be able to ship soon.
On 11/4 it was confirmed that they had reached a deal with FedEx and would be shipping by 11/7. Well, that came and past and now TipTrans is non-responsive to my emails.
STAY AWAY from this company unless you want to lose $$$!

Currently have a large amount of expensive goods of mine, won't ship the US, won't let me change shipping address, and won't acknowledge the top up I've made by wire so they can drop ship it. This has been ongoing for a over month and my stuff has been unable to be shipped because they're pretending they're handcuffed by their own rules.
Extremely slow to respond to email queries but very quick to respond to negative reviews.
Avoid.

A great company if you don't mind waiting forever for your packages.. Costumer service is incredibly slow

After verifying myself they have put my account on hold for more than five days now and i can't even log in anymore.
A package has already been sent to them and my storage days are almost up.
I have sent them emails but no response from them.
I feel like i have been scammed of my package.

This company is a scam. They hold packages to ransom for no reason. Their customer service are both rude, unhelpful and unable to correspond in English that makes any sense. Trust me, take your business elsewhere, this company is not worth the hassle. P.S. There are also many hidden fees and requirements that they only tell you about once they have your package hostage.
