Je suis très satisfait de comment est traité mais achats. Compliqué au début de prendre en mains les fonctionnalités. J'ai enlevé une étoile car frais de port assez élevé en cause des frais mais sinon tout le reste est bon.

- Great service at low cost
- consolidation of packages saved me a fortune so far and they charge only $5 for consolidation of all packages
- These guys are professionals and do not prolong any request made via very intuitive website
- Special request are communicated before done so all concerns can be solved

Cannot believe how easy this was

Cannot believe how easy this was! I was skeptical at first but the package I ordered arrive at Tiptrans and within 10 days it was at my house. Highly recommend them and will use them again in the future for items not a available for purchase in the US.

Lost €8k for no reason

Hello!

They just closed my account #27591 where was my purchase for 8+k euro. They just closed it due to "Violation of rules". There were new no shipments for last 4 months and I just held my purchase on their warehouse.

I asked to ship my order to me and then close the account but they not responded me.

I was active user since 2019, sometimes purchased a Business Premium subscription which costs 249 for 5 months and that's how they paid me for it.
Now they will just leave a comment that they "investigating" something. But I'm sure they just thought that account is not active and decided that they can easy make some profit.

Absolutely not recommending.

03.07.2024 update:
There is 1 more shipment on my account and 1 more on the way (they was purchased before deactivating my account). I'm sure they won't even allow me to return that shipments to sellers.

In fact, we received "Thousands of emails" as you flooded our mailbox. That caused you to be marked as a spammer, and the system stopped accepting any other emails from you.

Please refrain from sending multiple emails about the same topic. We will always reply to you, so there is no need to do that.

The issue is that you can not log in to your account.

I see you use the "Reset a password" function, which resets the password. To do this, you need to follow the instructions sent to you via email.

We also replied to you several times via email with the instructions.

The problem is - YOUR MAILBOX IS FULL.
This is the error provided by your Gmail:
"5.2.2 The recipient's inbox is out of storage space and inactive."

Please solve your storage issue with Google and then use "Reset a password" to obtain a new password.

Please understand that this has nothing to do with Tiptrans, that your mailbox is out of storage, and that you can't receive any emails from us (this includes a new password, a reply from our support team, etc.).

They double their prices!

In the last two months, there has been a significant delay in deliveries from Germany.
What's more serious is that they've doubled their prices without warning.
My packages from Germany to Pt, the normal price was 28-32€, now it's over 58-62€.
DHL is the company with best prices to PT and they didn´t double the prices, I´ve checked! And all the other small charges like 2€ for each packed entering and 5€ for consolidation! And I’ve also checked the other companies like Mailboxde.com with the same type of services, 20Kg for €30,99 and 30Kg for €37,12 what it is even best using GLS.
I'm leaving tiptrans, it's not worth it, they're not even willing to negotiate! Bad for then, this year I’ve payed more than 500€!

With >600 views, I promise to report only facts, Invoices and PayPal transfers, only what I can prove.

Instead of sending me an e-mail, tiptrans just prefers keeping this claim public and include referral to mailboxesde.com fees in their answer; I am Ok with that!

Unfortunately, I have 3 more shipments still arriving to triptrans! Today 11JUN04, for 21Kg DE to PT paid $56,24 for DHL, plus $2,75 tax for charging account from PayPal, $5.00 for Packing material and $5.00 Consolidation fee, bring the total of $68,99 for 21Kg.

Hi André,

Thank you for your feedback. I can assure you that we did not "double the price without warning." The prices you are comparing between packages are not directly comparable. The price you paid was for a package weighing around 10kg, while the higher price you referred to was for packages weighing around 25kg. Please note that shipping prices within the EU depend on the weight of the package.

Regarding DPD, we increased our rates by approximately 5% six months ago, in line with the changes introduced by DPD. Our DPD rates have remained stable for years, and we strive to keep them reasonably low.

Regarding Mailboxde.com, they will indeed charge you 37.12EUR, but there are also handling fees that are mandatory. Your total cost would be around 50EUR, which equals 54USD. This is more or less the same price we charge for the same package. Additionally, keep in mind that we are comparing DPD and GLS companies, so a small difference is to be expected.

You can simulate different weights with both companies and you will find our service is actually cheaper in many cases, especially considering you've shipped lighter packages in the past.

I hope that answers your questions and we would love to see you using our service in the future.

On the other hand, if you ship a package of around 10kg (as you did many times in the past), you will end up paying 32.63EUR (35USD) with Mainboxde, while we will charge you less.

Our reaction to the "UPDATE 11/6"
The prices you will pay using Mailboxde are NOT the ones you posted. You "conveniently" left aside the fee of 14.24EUR for each package. As we stated in our previous post, both companies have very similar rates. Depending on the package's parameters, you can find a shipment that is cheaper with one or the other.

Furthermore, "Instead of sending me an email" is also not true; we sent you an email (many, in fact). We also suggested the way you might have to save a lot of money if you upgrade to our Premium plan. For just $10/month, you will get
- 10x bigger storage space (you won't be paying over-allocated fees anymore)
- no Dispatch Fee (you save $5 for each package)
- cheaper consolidation ($3 for a case, unlimited packages consolidated into one)
and other perks. Considering your volume, this will save you way more than you will pay for the subscription.

Anyway, we really don't want to have this kind of discussion. If you wish to use another service, you are welcome to do so; it's a free market, and we are happy to see more companies doing the same as we do to make international shipments more affordable for everyone.

Please refrain from spreading lies about "double" prices, as that's not true (and everyone can simply check this for themselves).

A good first experience

My first time using Tiptrans (from UK to EU) was very good. The website runs smoothly, the photos of parcels are good quality and legible, the fee structure is reasonable, and consolidation was good other than one small transit plastic breakage due to a small error when packing (I repaired with glue). The biggest improvement I would suggest for UK->EU shipments is to give users the opportunity to pay VAT before shipping (via the IOSS); this would allow us to avoid the extra fees (often 100% over the cost of VAT) charged by in-country couriers like DPD or DHL.

Highly recommended for Hong Kong purchases

Short summary: great value professional service.

Longer version: I wanted to buy an Anya Hindmarch Universal bag from Taste in Hong Kong. The prices on eBay were huge for a bag retailing for about £13.
I opted to use the assisted purchase service where Tiptrans bought the bag for me, packed it and sent it onto me. There was a variety of shipping options and updates throughout. I got prompt replies and friendly replies to my initial email queries.
Yes, there is a little more to do with choosing options as the purchase progresses, but it was a smooth way to save money on the bag purchase.
I have used Buyee in Japan and Stackry in the US, so it is great to have another great service for purchases in Hong Kong, China and Germany.
