I don't like the taste at all so i have 3 unopened packets, because i cant cancel its an absolute joke

Read their agreement for their products. Also, they just send an automated general answers for your questions.

Not working. No weight lost, tastes disgusting weird after taste. Been a waste of money for me!!

I signed up to this course to help me lose weight in a sensible way. When you sign up the agreement, you are tied in for 6 months, which I did not realise, as it is in teeny tiny writing. I have resigned myself to this agreement. However, my cash debit card was suddenly changed by my bank and the account was tied to this card. The threatening email that I received from the Skinny Café was awful, not even giving me chance to explain why they could not take out the regular payment. Up to this point, the payment had been taken no problem. I was threatened with debt collectors, fees put on my account and legal action - all because my card had changed and I had not had my new card from the bank. I sent an email back immediately and you just get a standard email back still threatening you with debt collectors.

Do not do anything this with this company. I wish I could find a loophole out of it. Any ideas?

I have been using these produces since Christmas 2018 so for 8/9 months now and I make a purchase as least once a month. I buy on a regular basis: Thermo capsules, coffees, sauces and hot chocolates - I honestly cannot tell you how good they taste and the effects on my body have been amazing.

Not a company I will be using again - been charged for a journal which i paid for fast track delivery for and haven't received it even after the 48 hours of 'standard delivery' i have contacted them by email, facebook and twitter and nothing back! I will be informing my bank to try and get my money back from this waste of time company!

Don’t work and now stuck in a contract. Constantly getting tablets that do nothing!

Honestly, if you could give minus stars, I would...

Fortunately for me, straight after I'd placed an order I checked the reviews, as something seemed a bit off about the whole thing, and saw all the terrible feedback they'd had about the subscription contract.

So I emailed them immediately and requested a cancellation. I was told it was too late to cancel the order as it had been processed (within minutes...) and I would have to return the unopened products within 14 days in order to cancel the contract and receive a refund - which I did.

Meanwhile I received threatening emails - demanding payment and threatening bailiff and court action, even though I had requested cancellation within the alloted time frame. Communication from 'Gemma' was just constant automated messages. They didn't notify me that they had received the return - it was just lucky that I had sent it via Signed For delivery, so had proof.

After alot of back and fourth, they agreed to cancel the subscription, but no mention of the refund... They then came back playing dumb asking for proof of postage/delivery - which I provided. Still no refund... They then emailed requesting to know which items I had sent back (Which they obviously knew as they had the returned products there).

After nearly 4 weeks I am told the refund is being processed and will be complete within 4 days (We'll see...)

Same experience as a lot of people who ordered from this company. Getting sick of the same automated emails from Suzanne and Gemma. This company has not been dissolved however. Skinny Cafe Ltd is dissolved which is a different company as far as I am aware.

Do not order and do not take the threats personally as they mean nothing. I have blocked the card and even got a new one and have got the money back that they took out unauthorised. The ASA and trading standards know of this company and are looking in to it. They send the automatic email out all the time and I have not been replying as they can’t take any more money out as they do not have a leg to stand on. Don’t worry and don’t pay anything to them!

Please do not order from here this company was dissolved on 16/07/19. I’ve informed the ASA for false advertisements online and trading standards.

Like everyone else received an email threatening me and being quite rude actually.

I am contacting from Skinny Caffe.

We have had notification that your payment to us has failed due to blocking the bank transaction. Personally I would strongly advise against this. Otherwise we will have communication as proof from the bank and this correspondence and escalate this legally to our legal and debt collection team. This will then mean you will have to pay extra fees and penalties and any interest on unpaid money.

We would always suggest ensuring you like a product before subscribing to a 6 month contract. You are obliged to see out the remainder of this.

Whenever this has happened we have always obtained the full subscription fee and the customer has ended up paying high fees on top - it is an expensive decision but your choice of course.

If this is not paid for within the next 3 business days we will be passing this over to our debt collection agency.

Firstly I think Suzanne needs some customer service skills - assuming my card has been blocked when no Suzanne I just have a new one. I’ll be contacting the bank to report this - I’ve also reported the Instagram and twitter so please join so we can get this company shut down!

Like many people below I ordered the ‘free’ skinny coffee, and without my knowledge was put into a subscription which apparently you can’t cancel??
So I rang my bank to block future payments, I then receive a email from a very rude woman named ‘Suzanne’ stating if I don’t take the block off the account I will have debt collectors visiting me.. professional.

Please do not order from this site, the coffee tastes vile anyway, and they don’t have a ounce of decent customer service at all!

Looooooooool. I can’t even!! It’s pretty funny how the same generated response is coming to all these reviews, but what else do you expect. DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE. Quite frankly, I can’t believe I was stupid enough to. I ordered the “free” hot chocolate and thermosyn or whatever it is - weight loss capsules essentially. Didn’t thing anything of it until money came out of my bank, of course unauthorised to me as I wasn’t aware I had entered a subscription. How else was I to know, I didn’t even have an account Hahahahahha. I emailed politely to cancel this thing I had been fooled into, they refused. I then rang my bank, who I told the situation to and they kindly sent me a new card, after blocking the old one as this was the only way to stop the payment. Today I then received an email from the skinny caffe threatening debt collectors HAHAHAHA. Wasn’t funny at first of course I was shitting myself I’m only 19. After stressing all day I saw these reviews & relieved myself. I’ve also just rang my bank, even they said SCAM and to IGNORE IT. Have reported the company and plan on doing so again tomorrow to the traders. Load of sh************** anyway, the weight loss tablets made me put on weight and the hot chocolate tastes like absolute filth in me mouth. Good riddance to them

I made a one off purchase and after simply emailing to ask that they stop sending me emails (which I get absolutely bombarded with) they informed me that even though I didn't create an account or indicate what my preferences would be for future orders I have signed up for a six months subscription.
After explaining that the product actually made me physically ill, they have insisted that they would only cancel my order if I get a doctor's note.
Absolutely awful that they hide that it is a subscription in their T&Cs, especially if like me you specifically indicate that you DO NOT want to subscribe, and for someone like me who also has a visual impairment this has been absolutely traumatising and I may never buy anything off the internet again - AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

In response to the response below I would add, they state on their website that they OFFER a subscription, not that all purchases ARE a subscription ... it is a CON, beware if you are buying from them

I received a free trial of the capsules to see how they would do and they don’t agree with me I felt dizzy n always sick with them, then I got another pkt delivered which I did not ask for, I emailed urselfs to tell you and that I DID NOT do a 6 month subscription and I want to unsubscribe and all I get from them is total crap from them n telling me they would b putting me in a debt agency if I couldn’t pay! This is an absolute joke!!! And I will be paying nothing!! And will be going to see someone abt this! NOT HAPPY!!

Order anything from this company!!!!! I stupidly let my girlfriends use my bank card to order the ‘free sample’ now they are claiming that I’m in a 6 month contract to continue the order. £19 for 250g of hot chocolate power, that may I add taste absolutely disgusting!
I blocked the payment to them and now they are saying they are going to proceed with court orders to claim the money! (HAHAHAHAH I can only laugh at how pathetic this is.) basically from the way they have conducted them selfs they seems to be a very basic company desperate to make money. So I would 10000% recommend do not order anything from them! NOT EVEN THE ‘FREE’ SAMPLE!!!!!

Anyone reading this that is panicking about getting bailiffs coming dont be fooled it's all aload of rubbish.

Cancel your direct debit at the back and get on with your life if you dont believe me Google skinny caffe reviews online there is literally 100s of people in the same boat , yet none has had balifs come over.

Also if you fancy reporting skinny caffe to trading standards that would be great so many people have done it already its quick snd simple to do online or over the phone.
This will hopefully stop anymore people getting scammed
