Dear Adrian,
Thank you for your feedback. We understand your concerns regarding the buyback price and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We intent to be as transparent as possible about our buyback process. As outlined in our terms, the buyback price is based on the market conditions at the time of the request. Several factors influence this price, and we would be happy to clarify these details to help you understand how the offer was determined.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!
32% Loss
I was utterly shocked and horrified last week when I asked the Pure Gold Company for a valuation on my Gold investment and they came back with a figure that was 12% less than the original Capital sum I invested. That, in a year when Gold has gone up at least 18%, is absolute daylight robbery, in my humble opinion. The Pure Gold Company want me to accept a valuation that gives me a loss of over £100,000. To be honest I feel much worse off than if I’d just left my money in the notoriously corrupt Bank.
In matter of fact, I ought to be in profit.
I ask you, the Pure Gold Company - What is going on? How can you conscience this despicable and disgraceful behaviour?
To anyone looking at buying Gold, please avoid this company, as there is money to be made in precious metals, but not with the Pure Gold Company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take all customer concerns seriously and are committed to ensuring transparent and fair transactions. We acknowledge the challenges and concerns raised in your review and would like to address them comprehensively.
Upon further investigation and after subsequent communications with you, we understand that you have since sold your gold back to us within your desired timeframe and have realised a profit on your investment, despite the initial short-term valuation concerns. It is also important to note that the price you paid for the coins was lower than all competitors, and our buyback price was considerably higher than the competition. You held your investment for only 11 months and still achieved a profit. We always suggest that gold and silver should be viewed as long-term investments, yet despite selling prematurely, you were able to see positive returns.
Gold valuations can fluctuate due to various market factors, including spot price changes, demand and supply dynamics, and specific terms of purchase and sale. These fluctuations can sometimes lead to temporary discrepancies in valuations. However, our goal is always to provide accurate and fair valuations based on current market conditions.
We are pleased that your investment ultimately yielded a profit and that we were able to facilitate a successful transaction for you. We apologise for any inconvenience or confusion experienced during the initial valuation process.
Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to improve our services and ensure a positive experience for all our clients. Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service team.
Best wishes,
The Pure Gold Company
Good all-round service for first-time investors in Gold
I looked at several different companies offering gold purchase and since The Pure Gold Company offered a competitive rate (to buy and sell), guaranteed buy-back and advisory service, I opted for them, and have been entirely satisfied. Not having bought gold before, I appreciated being offered pros and cons for different purchase options, and storage, so I could make an informed choice.
