No problems so far, placed an number of orders over the last 2-3 years
great products at competitive prices and fast delivery

I had placed an order for an urgent piece of kit for a project and the parcel has been misplaced (lost) by Royal Mail (not Pi Huts fault at all!). I contacted customer services to enquire about a replacement and they stated they had to wait 10 working days for Royal Mail to mark it as 'missing' before they could send out replacement goods. I made the suggestion that if they could kindly send out another order and if the original turned up then I would cover 100% of the cost to return the original goods in good faith. This was rejected by their support team with no suitable resolution suggested. The project is now overdue and is losing me money.

Why should I spend 200% of the price of the goods to place another order and then wait nearly half a month to get my original money back?

Dreadful customer service, realised and notified immediately that there was a problem with order address and they refused to amend or cancel the order instead dispatching my costly item to a complete stranger. There is no phone number if you beed any support and whilst responsive to mail they are unwilling to do anything - some of the very worst service I've had from a small specialist you would be well advised to shop elsewhere as any issue with your order at all they won't help poking to an obscure help page on their website that orders can't be changed or amended once placed imaging how much worse they would be in a warranty issue avoid avoid avoid

Placed four orders so far, never had an issue. I find the prices quite competitive and even the delivery is quite quick.

Fun fact: You're supposed to "take reasonable steps to let customers correct errors in their order".

Edit: Your blanket reply doesn't make things better. You have all the means to change the process, and there is a plenty of 1-star reviews of people in a similar situation.

Ordered wrong version PI starter kit. Customer service unable to change product once ordered even though it had only been 5 minutes since placing the order, so had to wait several days then for a pointless delivery and then immediately return.

Ordered correct version and next day delivery to get kit in time but order failed to arrive next day because it was placed after 2pm. The after 2pm issue was not displayed anywhere on the website other than a banner which does not displsy in full on a mobile device. After complaining and requesting refund I was not provided anything and simply pointed to the banner.

I found the website to be very easy to navigate and despatch and delivery was prompt. Unusually the package was of excellent quality and robust enough to deal with the trials and tribulations of your usual courier companies.

J’ai commandé deux produits chez ThePiHut, pour un montant bien en dessous de 150 €. Cependant, à la réception du colis, j’ai été surpris de devoir payer non seulement la TVA (18 €, ce qui est normal) mais également 20 € de frais de dossier et de dédouanement, alors qu’aucun frais de dédouanement n’était applicable (j’ai la facture à l’appui). Ce qui m’a le plus frustré est que ces frais supplémentaires m’ont été imposés par DHL, un transporteur que je n’avais pas sélectionné lors de l’achat. Je choisis généralement d’éviter DHL pour ce type de raison, car ils imposent souvent des frais excessifs aux clients finaux.

En contactant le service client de ThePiHut pour leur expliquer la situation, on m’a simplement répondu que je pouvais refuser le colis. Cependant, cette réponse est trompeuse : en cas de refus, ces frais restent légalement à la charge du destinataire. Le message est clair : ThePiHut semble se désintéresser de ses clients en dehors du Royaume-Uni et ne prend pas la responsabilité de ses erreurs logistiques.

En conclusion, je déconseille fortement ThePiHut, surtout pour les clients internationaux. Leur manque de professionnalisme et leur absence de considération pour les réclamations clients reflètent une entreprise qui ne se soucie pas de ses clients, mais cherche plutôt à leur soutirer de l’argent avec des méthodes douteuses.

Mise à jour suite au commentaire de ThePiHut : La société blâme notre pays pour les taxes... Cependant, ThePiHut semble ne pas lire (ou ne pas vouloir comprendre) les nombreuses critiques qui lui sont adressées ! La TVA, pas de problème, on la paie ! Mais devoir payer DHL, alors que rien ne le mentionne lors de l’achat, c’est une erreur de leur part ! Et épargnez-nous vos "politiques" et autres : tout semble conçu pour rendre l’information difficile à trouver ! Je ne peux pas mettre 0 étoile, vous avez de la chance !

Decent pricing, good support, and a solid service!

Ordered a 32gb sd card and was sent a 500mb card.

Not sure why they would want to skimp on something this small but they sent (I think) a real pi5 and then also sent a fake 32gb sd card it’s marked as 32gb but when you put it in a pc and try to reformat it’s actually 500mb.

Fantastic customer service, very friendly, helpful and fast.

Brexit sei dank zahlt man hier beim Empfang der Ware Einfuhrumsatzsteuern plus Auslagepauschale. Bei mir kamen so auf 38,75 Pfund noch 14,74 Euro hinzu. Hätte ich das geahnt, hätte ich lieber in der EU bestellt...

The Pi Hut has an excellent selection of Raspberry Pi equipment, which made it easy to put together a package with everything I needed. The delivery was nice and quick, and when there was a small issue (a couple of the keys on the keyboard not working) they arranged for a return and replacement as quickly as anyone could possibly expect. I can't fault their customer service, and am happy to recommend them.

Great customer service and rapid delivery. I've bought many things from here and always satisfied.

Postoffice have delivered my package to some address, i've assumed that i need to contact them to sort out the issue.
But after requesting some weird forms on the Postoffice website, it came out that the sender(Pi Hut) needs to submit a claim for the lost package.
Then went on with Jayde from Customer Support who did not even hesitate and offered a refund or to resend the package.

I had issues with a PSU dropping excessive voltage when under load. I contacted Pi Hut customer support and was expertly dealt with, and after sending back the faulty item, very promptly received a fully up-to-spec replacement. Cannot fault them - first class service. What with that and the extremely reasonable pricing (i.e. very much on a par or better than a certain auction site I could mention...) I will definitely be going back again. Really big thank you to all at Pi Hut. Thank you!
