had a few issues at first but they where very quick off the mark to replace the items (next day), there support is out of this world all it took as an email and support where all over it offering advice and fixes to the issues i was having,

You could say mixed. Something must have got lost in the post as it didn't arrive - not their fault. Without a problem they sent it tracked again and arrived next day. Great service.

Can't fault the customer service! Extremely helpful when I needed assistance helped me solve my issues in no time very good people and products are incredible

There was a mixup in my most recent order, not sure if it was my fault or some error crept in. However it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. It was resolved within 48 and I had a refund back in my account. Would happily use again.

Ordered a Pi 5. After a couple of days it developed a faulty HDMI port and then the SSD stopped responding. After swapping hardware, flashing a new card etc. I tried to contact them for a return. Oh dear, what a lot of nonsense. Multiple exchanges of support messages and no sign of a return let alone refund. The Pi Hut website promises a no quibble return. This clearly nonsense.

If you want a Pi, order via Amazon who will at least honour UK consumer legislation.

I bought from pi hut because it worked out about £2 cheaper than ordering from amazon, and promised first class delivery.
6 days later I had not received my order- asking around, apparently this is common.

I'm trans and the pi hut also began emailing me using my previous name, which they had retained from an order I had placed in 2016(I did not make an account. They just decided to keep it for 8 years and assume it was current despite me entering my current details). I opened a support ticket and asked them to update my details, and was told it had been done.
A few days later I got an email from reviews.io in...my previous name. Asking for a review.
Pi hut shared data I entered 8 years ago, which I'd asked them to correct, with a third party who I did not consent to them sharing it with(their 2016 privacy policy does not mention sharing this data with reviews.io). Right now as I write this reviews.io is offering to post this with my previous name attatched- no option to update it.
Strong DO NOT USE on this site- go for amazon or CPC or any of the other proffessional deaiers.

Edit:
The pi hut has responded saying that they have reached out to me. They have indeed, and their response was that it was reasonable and legal to hold and distribute this data. There is no justification given for holding this data for 8 years from a single order, nor for failing to update it.
They also responded to me requesting that they and reviews.io update my details by _removing_ all of my details, including the negative review assosciated with them, and the ability to leave a replacement review.

The pi hut have apologised for how they handled it and are looking into fixing their systems. Leaving it as one star because the experience of getting this sorted was _awful_ and borderline hostile for much of it.

The Pi Hut has a great range of products and provides good service.

I have purchased a variety of items over a few years and always has a good experience with items arriving quickly and well packaged.

I purchased a Pimoroni NVMe Base Duo from them. I live in Turkiye so they excluded UK taxes and also shipping was really cheap for a 1 day delivery with DHL. Then I tried to make the base work but it was obviously faulty. I contacted Jayde from Pi Hut customer service. Because of technical limitations of Turkiye, I couldn't send it back to them but they still sent me a new one to make up for the faulty base. It works now, and I'm very happy choosing PiHut to gey my RPi peripherals.

Great range of products, well priced, easily found on their website. Order despatched very promptly then got stuck in Royal Mail's system. Customer Services were very helpful and nudged RM into action so package was delivered quickly after that. Great service - thank you.

I made a mistake with my order so i contacted Pi Hut via email, Jayde picked it up and the customer service was excellent, polite and speedy.

A few days ago, I had a received my M5StickC Plus 2, and due to the shipping company or the supplier (not The Pi Hut), the screen had a few dead pixels across the screen. So I took a few photos and send a support/refund request. A few hours later, I instantly got a notification with an email from the support agent (Jayde) with a link to get the return slip. I quickly put the item in a bag and put the postage slip on the package and within a few days, it had arrived and in a few quick emails, I am due to receive a replacement item, which from experience comes within 1-3 days using Royal Mail 1st Class.

Overall, great support experience and great selection and shipping out times.

I have been a customer of Pi-Hut since the release of the Raspberry pi 3b plus. Time and time again they have proven that Thier customer service is up there with the best of them. E.g. I placed an order and within 15 minutes it had been shipped. This happens regularly where my order has been sent out promptly. They have a huge range of products for your tinkering needs. I'd also like to add that any enquiries that I have had have been responded to swiftly. I cannot recommend Pi-Hut enough, it is certainly worth checking out their website.

In the last few weeks, I've had a couple of orders from Pi Hut. I was very impressed with their site. It has a massive stock of equipment reasonably priced. And lots of useful information about the items they have. And even some assembly videos. The first order, was for a basic system. And the second, was for extra bells and whistles. Ordering was easy, and the delivery prompt. I contacted support, and they were very helpful.

I had a problem with a new Raspberry Pi 5 and Jayde at Pi Hut went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot and subsequently replace the Pi.

Very understanding, very helpful, and very appreciative of the Pi community.

I bought the small Bone Conductor transducer (8 Ohm, 1 Watt) from their site and was very disappointed. The wires came away from the glue on the terminals within 10 minutes of use due to the wire heating up slightly (as they do!) and because the terminals are so small it is not practical to solder them back on. This was during light use, so no extravagant voltages or currents were applied. Another design flaw is that the vibrating plate does not have enough clearance from the rest of the device, namely the screws on either side of it. The reason I am leaving this review here is because my 1-star review has NOT been added to this product on their website and therefore is a general criticism of The Pi Hut. To any prospective thepihut.com buyers, I'd be very suspect of any positive reviews on there, as my poor quality item had a lone 5-star review, and of course my negative review did not pass the screening process!

Je m'attendais à payer les 20 % de taxes Française. Mais je n'avais pas anticiper des frais de dédouanement en plus (20€). J'avais payé par Paypal, il faut rajouter des frais de conversion de devise.

Donc, j'ai dû payer 30€ en plus des taxes.
Si on se renseigne avant, on peut le savoir. Mais ce n'est pas clairement indiqué au moment de l'achat.

Bien que le site et le service soient bien, j'en déduis que les frais additionnels rendent l'achat peu compétitif.

1 star cause they won’t ship to Scotland.
Total joke unacceptable and lack of flexibility in a small minding company.
